Jackson and Oliver had a great day with Misty! She has a lovely home and large backyard. My pups had a wonderful time exploring and playing with Misty and her children. Misty was quick to respond to my initial request and promptly answered any questions I had prior to the dog sitting date. She was also great about sending me photos and info on how they were doing while with her. When I came to pick them up, I knew Jackson and Oliver had had a great day based on the big smiles on their faces! I would definitely recommend Misty to anyone looking for a reputable Rover sitter. If I'm back in Ojai next year, I'll be bringing the boys back for another playdate! Thanks again Misty!

Kay was a fantastic sitter. She was very kind and welcoming. We felt very confident in leaving our dog in her care. She sent adorable photos and her communication throughout the sit was great. We picked up a very happy dog who didn’t want to leave Kay. Would 100% use Kay again.

About: "I bring a professional, detail-oriented approach to pet care, backed by a commitment to reliability and safety. I don't just 'watch' your pet—I curate their day. Whether it's a high-energy park adventure or a consistent, disciplined walking routine, I prioritize your pet's specific temperament and needs. I treat every booking as a professional contract: you can count on punctuality, clear communication, and photo updates that give you complete peace of mind. Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities, and I approach every interaction with the professionalism you expect from a dedicated care expert." Growing up in Texas we had a family Ranch with all of the fun farm animals. I have been around several breeds of cats since I was 10. I also had a beautiful midnight main coon named Bling up until moving to Austin. I also had a Schnauzer terrier I found at the pound also when I was 10. Mitzi was from the Humane Society. I was volunteering and she never left my side all day I had to take her! Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to check in with, feed, and play with their pets for years. What sets me apart is my patience and ability to bond with even the shyest felines. I understand cat body language and prioritize a stress-free environment. Whether it's high-energy play with a kitten or gentle companionship for a senior cat, I am observant, detail-oriented, and dedicated to making sure your furr baby feels safe and loved while you are away." I prioritize a secure and attentive environment for every dog I care for. While I don't have a yard at my home, I am an extremely active person and live near several wonderful local dog parks and scenic trails. I love taking my visitors on frequent outdoor adventures and long walks to ensure they get plenty of exercise and fresh air. My home is a clean, organized, and stress-free space where your pet will be treated like family and given my full, undivided attention.

This is the third time our dog has done doggy day care at Jessica's and it is always a positive experience. Our dog was in good hands, and loves playing with Jessica's dog Luma and had a playmate to match her high energy. Jessica is responsive, sent updates and photos, and we appreciate her asking questions beforehand to see if there is anything she should know and is observant of our dog's needs during the stay. Highly recommend!

About: I'm a gigantic dog lover. I'm active and love a good long walk every morning and night - and a pooch pup to go with me. I'm super responsible and attentive to all dogs needs (is it too hot outside? are they thirsty?) I've personally owned a reactive dog for over 14 years and learned the needs of a senior dog to make the comfortable. I'm patient and loving. No kids - prefer dogs! I'm an early riser and love to start the day with a good brisk walk. I love walking and will go for a good hour if thats what your dog likes (active breeds welcome). My home is calm and mellow and so after a morning walk it's a relax coffee and breakfast with pup hanging out in our back garden. My office opens our back deck and so pup is free to come in and out all day long. Later afternoon walks follow a work day, I like to go to different spots to keep it interesting. Your pup will have a companion all day. I have a fully fenced yard and would hang with your dog all day! Love an office companion and will tow their dog bed to whatever room in the house I am in!

About: We’re a dog-loving household based who recently relocated to Ventura, we settled into a cozy ground-floor one-bedroom in a super walkable neighborhood near the college—perfect for easy strolls and outdoor time. Our pup Momo is now 4 years old, friendly, playful, and loves having new companions around. We have years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and we truly treat every pet like part of the family. I work remotely most of the week (in-office just 2 days), so your pet will have plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. My husband and I share pet care responsibilities, which means flexible availability and consistent care every day of the week. We enjoy getting outside—whether it’s neighborhood walks, beach time, or weekend hikes—and we’re happy to include your dog in those adventures if it fits their routine and energy level. At home, we offer a safe, calm environment with lots of love, playtime, and structure. For care in your home, we’re attentive to your pet’s established routine and preferences, and can provide reliable visits throughout the day and week. Pet care is a natural part of our daily routine. I work from home most of the week, so I’m around for regular walks, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. We build our daily schedule around making sure our guests get plenty of exercise, attention, and engagement. My husband and I share responsibilities, so your pet will have consistent care and companionship every day of the week. Safety and trust are our top priorities. In our home, we provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment with plenty of supervision, playtime, and rest. I cannot thoroughly explain how grateful I am that Lexie agreed to watch my boy for me; we had met with another sitter months in advance who agreed to our pick up and drop off times at the meet and greet, but decided to cancel on me a few hours before! Beyond flustered and upset I was panicking, but Lexie came to the rescue but not only that, she provided Oliver a safe place to interact with other dogs. 🥹🧡 She provided updates with pictures to let me know my baby was safe and being watched. if you’re looking for a sitter who is reliable and will love your dog like their own, I highly recommend Lexie. I will be using her again in the future.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all kinds since for the past 4 years. I stay over night, go on walks, feed, bathe, and have dealt with disabled dogs before. I even have experience with cats whom have needed to be feed and the litter box needed cleaning. My neighbors, family, friends, and even people who I’ve been recommended to have put their trust in me with their pets. The longest time I’ve pet sat was for two weeks and it was with two dogs that needed to take medication 2 times a day. I have even let sat for my neighbor who’s elderly Labrador dog’s two back legs don’t function correctly. I am prepared for anything and everything :) I am a full time student at the University of Southern California Monday-Thursday, but I have times where I don’t have classes. Just message me and majority of the time I will be free! Friday-Sunday I don’t have school and I am usually free the entire day. At home I have a 6 year old male Golden Retriever who needs to be walked and fed multiple times throughout the day. I love to spend time with my dog whether it’s lounging around or going on hikes/to the beach with him. At clients house, I usually tend to check in with the dogs throughout my day, stay overnight at the house, or even board them at my house. I make sure that they’re fed, let out to go potty, and even give them the love/attention they need.

We were very happy with Hersh and his care for our small dog Sophie. Sophie was calm and relaxed when we picker her up unlike a previous stay at a kennel for small dogs. Hersh sent us a picture of Sophie relaxing on the couch and I could tell she was enjoying herself and was content. Good job. We would definitely use Hersh again if we are traveling in the area.

We had a trip planned to go to Channel Islands National Park on Monday, but unfortunately the ferry company had to cancel due to weather. I reached out to Bethany, and she was incredibly understanding and flexible, helping us reschedule without any stress. Bethany was friendly, responsive, and so easy to communicate with. We’re traveling from out of the area, and trusting someone with our boy is always a little nerve-wracking — but she immediately put our minds at ease. She and her husband, Clive, took Zeke on an afternoon walk and later to the dog park in the evening, which he absolutely loved. She sent us photos of Zeke and Samba throughout the day, and it was so reassuring (and fun!) to see him happy and having a great time. They’re truly great people, and we wouldn’t hesitate for a second to have them watch our pup again. Thanks again, Bethany & Clive - Zeke loved hanging with Samba all day :)
