About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a kid. From guinea pigs, birds and large tortoises to 100 lb dogs and many animals in between. I will provide a loving family home, large fenced yard, two 30 minute walks/day, and infinite love. Don’t mind administering oral meds if needed. I work full time from home all days of the week/end and have a flexible schedule. Happy to provide morning and afternoon walks in a family friendly neighborhood. Your dog will get to stay in a loving family home and will have full access to large fenced yard with plenty of sunshine, grass and shade. Your dog will be pampered with attention, belly rubs and play time. Lots of sunny napping spots for when they want to chill.

About: I'm a gigantic dog lover. I'm active and love a good long walk every morning and night - and a pooch pup to go with me. I'm super responsible and attentive to all dogs needs (is it too hot outside? are they thirsty?) I've personally owned a reactive dog for over 14 years and learned the needs of a senior dog to make the comfortable. I'm patient and loving. No kids - prefer dogs! I'm an early riser and love to start the day with a good brisk walk. I love walking and will go for a good hour if thats what your dog likes (active breeds welcome). My home is calm and mellow and so after a morning walk it's a relax coffee and breakfast with pup hanging out in our back garden. My office opens our back deck and so pup is free to come in and out all day long. Later afternoon walks follow a work day, I like to go to different spots to keep it interesting. Your pup will have a companion all day. I have a fully fenced yard and would hang with your dog all day! Love an office companion and will tow their dog bed to whatever room in the house I am in!

I raised a 15-year-old Havanese from puppyhood through her senior years, and now share my life with Willow, my playful and social one-year-old cattle dog mix who absolutely loves having dog friends around. We live on a peaceful mountain property near Carpinteria with lots of outdoor space to explore. Our days are full but relaxed — usually a mix of time at home while I work on graduate school coursework, walks around the property, afternoon rest time, and beach outings or little adventures into town. I love matching each dog’s energy level — whether that means active hikes and play sessions or a slower-paced day with cozy naps and calm companionship. I’m currently in graduate school studying acupuncture, so I’m home most of the day and able to provide consistent supervision, attention, and care. I also love sending photo and video updates so you can see your pup enjoying their stay. I have experience with training and behavior work, including helping raise a previously reactive rescue dog. While I have that background, I’m currently focused on hosting dogs who are comfortable social playmates for Willow, so I’m not taking reactive dogs at this time. Our home also includes chickens (securely enclosed), and I’m happy to accommodate pickups or coordinate logistics to make things easy.
