About: I'm a lifelong animal owner and lover - large breeds and small or with fur, scales, hooves, or feathers. My live-in partner is a work from home professional and certified dog trainer and I'm the Hospital Manager of a local veterinary hospital. Together, we offer a uniquely loving, experienced, and structured environment for pets of any size or special needs. Pets in our care are spoiled with snuggles and lots of love, treats (when permitted by their owners) and rarely spend time out of our sight. Long walks and playtime with our cattle dog and chihuahua wear out most dogs in no time. Unless specifically requested by their owners, dogs in our care are never crated for extended periods or locked inside without access to a fenced patio. About: I’ve owned and cared for pets over the course of my entire life. Dogs are my love and bring such joy into my world. I have always had a natural born connection that cannot really be explained. It’s a magnetism and I’m drawn to them as much as they are to me :). I have a deep understanding and knowledge of a variety of health issues that dogs commonly have including bone, joint, heart, GI issues and dietary restrictions. I’ve experienced quite a bit over the course of my life personally caring for dogs with these issues including blindness & deafness, injuries. I’m mature enough and a mom myself to confidently say that your family would be treated as my own would. I have also cared for and owned a variety of birds, fish, reptiles, bunnies, guinea pigs, chinchilla and then some! ;). Your animals would be loved as my own! Happy to do overnight care on somewhat short notice as well. Live in the Mission canyon area and have a gated yard with space for sun bathing and potty breaks/lizard chasing ;). Reliable car, DL, Insurance etc. - open to running errands, helping around the house (can discuss rate). My schedule is flexible and I’m available for boarding as well overnight with a little notice ahead of time. No problem with house sitting I have a gated yard and no pets. Nice neighborhood with friendly neighbors with dogs that enjoy each other. Local trails close by and the Riviera Theater close and other nice doggy friendly locations!

As they got older, it was getting too tiring for them to be surrounded by so many dogs and it would take them couple of days to regain energy after one day of daycare. So I was looking for someone who could give them a quiet homely and safe environment, and specifically someone who accepted only a few dogs at once. Hillary fit the bill perfectly. Her two lovely pups are close in age with mine, and she rarely takes on any other dog beyond my two pups on the same day (unless another pup is staying overnight for boarding). Hillary and her family are very welcoming. She kindly accepted to do a meet & greet before i booked my first day of daycare. My dogs have been going two days a week for a few weeks now. They wag their tails on the way in and on the way out. They seem really happy which makes me happy. I’m very grateful for Hillary and the great care she gives to my two dogs.”
