About: Hello, I'm Dorothy & I love animals! I have always had a deep connection with animals, so pet training has always come naturally to me. I grew up on a farm with dogs of all sizes. I pride myself on staying consistent with training, keeping pet parents updated on helpful tips to implement to improve any training goals. I love pets of all walks and specialize in training puppies or dogs with habits that need adjusting, and senior dog care and am comfortable with administering medication. “This was my first time using rover and leaving my dog for day sitting. Last minute our sitter couldn’t watch our dog, so we brought her with us on our trip to Santa Barbara. We wanted to explore, but did not want to leave her in a motel room, so we looked for a doggie daycare. Honey was responsive and took our dog in last minute. Even on a holiday weekend. I was nervous about my dog having anxiety, but Honey was very friendly and communicated throughout the day to keep me posted about my dog’s day. About: I have been around and cared for dogs since I was in middle school. I have a deep care for dogs and believe giving them the absolute best life while they are with us is the only way to engage with them. I have a knack for training, it somewhat comes natural to me and I have the patience for it. Im happy to work with your dog to either reinforce or teach commands/tricks. Recently, I left my corporate job. I am taking time off to assess my next career move. Which means I have wide open flexibility and need to take walks to keep thinking. What a better way to do that than to have a walking companion! I do not have pets which means all of my attention goes to yours! There are two couches, a bed and a patio for your babe to enjoy. I am available around the clock to play, walk, teach.

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was 12 years old, when I rescued my first dog. Since then, I’ve raised several dogs and gained experience with puppies, senior dogs, rescues, and dogs with fear-based aggression or anxiety. I also volunteered at the humane society, where I often worked with dogs that others were hesitant to handle. That experience taught me patience, confidence, and how to build trust with animals that need extra care and understanding. With my current rescue dog, I completed dog training bootcamp twice to help her overcome severe anxiety. Through that training, I learned how to provide structure, reinforce commands, and use positive reinforcement techniques to help dogs feel safe, secure, and confident. In addition to dogs, I also have experience caring for cats and rabbits. I’m comfortable adapting to different personalities, routines, and care needs, and I genuinely enjoy making animals feel loved, safe, and well cared for. I am currently a stay at home mom. My schedule is pretty flexible with a little bit of notice. I look forward to helping you. I have very structured care for my own pup. I believe pups need a lot of love and also need to trust the people caring for them. Your dog’s safety and well-being will always be my first priority.

About: I watch Chomsky every day and he’s my boy. I cared for Bella, a Border Collie during grad school for three years. Loved her too. I am an artist doing a self-guided residency in Santa Barbara. I care for Chomsky, a cute Shi Tzu mix. He is the most chill. I can watch your doggie or kitty while working from home. We will also go for walks and play/ throw ball if they want to.

Walks, yard time, and cuddles fit naturally into my routine, I'm not squeezing pet care around a commute or office hours. Gladly have your pet a part of my day. My home is fully fenced, so outdoor time is always safe and supervised. Inside, dogs are welcome wherever they're most comfortable.. on the sofa, in the bedroom, wherever helps them settle in. I follow each owner's instructions closely, including crating if that's part of their dog's routine. I'll always ask about your dog's habits, triggers, and preferences before your stay so there are no surprises for either of us.
