“Leo was fantastic with Reggie. We heard from Leo regularly with text check-ins and photos and never doubted our little guy was in good hands. By the time we were back from our vacation, the two of them were essentially best buds. Would definitely work with Leo again!”

Grace is a wonderful communicator and sent me so many pictures and videos throughout her stay - it was wonderful! Highly recommend Grace to watch any of you pets :)”

About: Hi, I’m Lauren! I’m a lifelong animal lover and dog mom to two adorable pups: Buttercup (12), my sweet senior with special needs and daily medications, and Mochi (5), a goofy, high-energy ball of love. I’ve raised them both since they were tiny pups. I grew up with huskies and horses, so I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Whether your pup needs long walks, gentle care, or a calm, experienced sitter for meds or routines—I’ve got you covered. 🐾 Why pet parents book me: • Firsthand experience with senior dogs & medications • Calm, loving, and deeply reliable care • Great with shy, energetic, or special needs pups • Flexible for last-minute walks or overnights • Fast communication & peace of mind while you’re away Most of my time is spent at my house as I am a work remote/work from home freelance video producer and editor in television. So your pet will have my full attention and I’ll be able to accommodate schedules and routines! At home, I keep your babies with me and separate from our two very friendly (with dogs and humans) shitzu pups. If you’re comfortable with the pups mixing and mingling, then I’ll let them hang out together. Otherwise, I’ll keep your pet with me in my office. My office has a couch, a dog bed and if they like to cool off their warm bellies, a hardwood floor. Regardless, your pet will be with me! I like to take walks around the courthouse since it’s so pretty and close by, so we’ll do that as well. We also have a back patio that I can additionally let them run around in. Depending on your comfort levels and size of your pup, your pet can sleep in my bedroom (not in bed) or in the living room in front of our bedroom on a plush dog bed. ***A couple of side notes: 1. Let me know any restrictions your pet has around food, diets, allergies and treats. 2. We also have a crate, if that’s something you want/need for your pet. 3. Please wait for a confirmation from me regarding your booking. I do accept last minute requests but every now and then last minute obligations come up!
About: I’m a college student in the Santa Barbara/Montecito area with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages and sizes. I’m reliable, punctual, and active, so your friend will always get the attention and exercise they need. I have loved taking care of pets since I got a dog of my own in 2014. I have been trusted to care for friend’s pets and homes for quite some time. I communicate with owners well with photos and notes after every walk so you know your dog is safe and happy. I am eager to spend time with your furry friends this semester! I am a full time student at Westmont college. I’m available most afternoons, with lots of free time on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Pet care fits naturally into my routine- I love walk local neighborhoods and beaches in my free time and would love to have your pet come along! I have some availability on weekends for walks and drop-ins! I do not provide my own home care- as I live in a dorm! Even though there is not much space for me to care for a pet, I’d love to spend time with your furry friend outside or in-house!
About: I was raised with a puppy and have had many dogs since—they truly make my heart melt! Dogs are so special, and I love giving them all the playtime, fun, and enrichment they need to stay happy and healthy. I’m all about keeping tails wagging with love, attention, and care they can count on. Pet care is a natural and joyful part of my daily routine. I prioritize feeding, walking, playtime, and giving pets plenty of love and attention. I’m currently working part-time and in school twice a week, but I have a light schedule that leaves me with plenty of free time to dedicate to your pet’s care. I stay organized and make sure to follow each pet’s routine to keep them happy and comfortable. When caring for pets in your home, I’m attentive and respectful of their routines and environment. I’m a quick learner and follow your instructions closely to make sure your pet gets the best care possible. I also know when to take initiative and solve problems calmly to keep your pet safe, happy, and comfortable.
“Liliana is a great sitter. She was able to make friends with my very skittish kitty. She was also able to handle an unusual situation at my home with poise and promptness.”

About: I’ve spent over 30 years caring for dogs and other animals, both personally and professionally. My approach is intuitive, compassionate, and grounded in a lifetime of hands-on experience. I run a local Montecito dog walking business, working with dogs of all breeds and specializing in big, athletic, and high-energy dogs. Pet care fits naturally into my lifestyle. As a Montecito-based business owner and endurance athlete, I spend much of my time on the trails and beaches — often with a dog by my side. My lifelong love of animals, combined with my endurance background, makes me especially well-suited for larger or high-energy breeds. I genuinely love bonding with dogs and take pride in being a calm, confident presence — a natural pack leader they can trust. I care for the dogs I walk as if they were my own — with plenty of love, attention, and respect for their individual needs. I’m known for giving dogs the exercise they truly crave, whether that’s an energizing trail walk, a beach romp, or a steady neighborhood outing. I stay fully present and engaged, making sure each walk is safe, stimulating, and tailored to the dog’s energy level and personality.
About: I've cared for my family dog and rabbits for 8+ years. Neighbors and family have entrusted me with walking and caring for their pets while on trips. I'm currently house-sitting and looking for a job, so I am free to walk your pet anytime! I am happy to sparse out my time with walks and drop ins. I've recently watched a lovely 14-year-old cat throughout the day, with love, feeding, cuddles, and litter-box services. With taking care of dogs, I try to prioritize exercise, playful attention, and any extra care that they may need.
About: I raised French Bulldogs and cared for three litters. I have experience in obedience dog training. I have cared for senior dogs who need extra care. I have also been raised with cats and have never lived in a household without one. I am a student at Westmont College located in Montecito, CA. I have a very flexible schedule and would love to fill that time enjoying time and taking care of your animals! My pets are very cared for, they are treated like family because they are. You can trust that I will give every and any animal on my care the utmost respect and love, and I will always let owners know if I notice anything out of the ordinary.
About: I received my MS degree in Human Canine Life Sciences last year. I have studied everything from genetics, domestication, breeding and legal regulations for canines, to the untapped potential of their abilities, the complexities of their emotional lives and the world of assisted therapy and facility dogs. I also recently completed a two-week workshop on training service animals. I have fostered and volunteered for 18 years and ran a dog walking business during college. I am a wealth of information about animals and a well of pure love that will never run dry. I can assess if there are health issues and make recommendations if you want to have that conversation. I also crock"pet" whole food dog food and can advise you on nutrition too, if that's of interest. I am highly sensitive to animals and their needs and moods and comfortability. I have two highly reactive large breeds and can handle dogs on leash in any situation (and won't put myself in one that I can not). I really want to be an advocate for all animals and be a positive part of your lives, whether it's a one time walk or everyday. I'm also here to talk about your pets with you and I will send from zero to a zillion photos and messages- whatever makes you feel good. I can promise you my full attention and so much crazy love for your mates. I am a writer and I also produce and act in the theatre. Most of the time, unless I am in rehearsal, I work from home with a highly flexible schedule. If I'm not home, I'm probably sneaking across the street (when my dawgos aren't looking) stealing snugs and offering the occasional greenie to the dogs on my block. They're sooooo nice, they kill me. I'm hugely attentive and I enjoy it all: a rambunctious playful dude, a senior who just wants belly rubs and snoogs, and the process of gaining the trust of a dog who may need some time and space at first. All of it. I pay attention. I'm with your pets to provide care, love and my presence, not just clock in and out. I feel a responsibility to the well-being of animals (and am honored to have that responsibility) because I have so much education and experience. The time I spend is quality and mindful and I'm truly grateful for it.
About: I grew up raising and taking care of three golden retrievers and a tuxedo cat. I would feed them all, take the dogs out to do their business, clean the cat’s litter box, change their waters out, walk the dogs, and play with them all. I have a soft spot for animals and love to see them happy and enriched. It’s my top priority to comfort pet owners by providing quality comfort and care to their fur babies. I’m very accommodating, understanding, caring, and I learn extremely quickly. I’d be extremely grateful to take care of your pets because I know and understand they’re like second children to most of us. I’m currently enrolled in college, so weekends are typically when I’m available most. However, I’m open to pet care on weeknights if my schedule permits it. I mainly abide by the pet owner’s wishes and rules. Every pet family is different and I understand this completely. Communicate the needs and norms of your pets to me, and I’m happy to accommodate those needs.
About: I was a nanny over the last several years and always easily got acquainted with whichever household pets came with my jobs. I am confident with animals and easily make a connection. I am gentle and kind and I’ve never had had a problem with any animals, I have run into or cared for. I currently just moved back to Santa Barbara and do a little pet sitting already. But I’m looking to expand my platform. I have an open schedule and want to have a Part-time job that I enjoy doing. I am happy to provide, whichever services are needed per sitting. If that means, it’s a walk, feeding, overnight, just some friendly attention or etc, I am more than happy to provide anything.
About: As a dedicated pet sitter, I stand out through my extensive experience in caring for pets of all ages, from playful puppies to gentle seniors. I have specialized skills in puppy training, ensuring your new furry friend learns basic commands and socializes effectively. Additionally, I am trained in senior pet care, providing the patience and understanding needed for older pets with unique requirements. My focus on individualized attention and personalized care makes me the ideal choice for your beloved companions. Enjoy peace of mind knowing your pets are in capable hands! Weekdays I am free any day any time. I work nights in the service industry on weekends so daytime works best on the weekends for me. I care for each pet as if they were my own, always tailoring my approach based on their individual needs, routine, and personality. Whether I’m providing care in my home or yours, my priority is making sure your pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away.
