About: Hi! I’m Kayla, a lifelong dog lover and animal person. I raised a 15-year-old Havanese from puppyhood through her senior years, and now share my life with Willow, my playful and social one-year-old cattle dog mix who absolutely loves having dog friends around. We live on a peaceful mountain property near Carpinteria with lots of outdoor space to explore. Our days are full but relaxed — usually a mix of time at home while I work on graduate school coursework, walks around the property, afternoon rest time, and beach outings or little adventures into town. I love matching each dog’s energy level — whether that means active hikes and play sessions or a slower-paced day with cozy naps and calm companionship. I’m currently in graduate school studying acupuncture, so I’m home most of the day and able to provide consistent supervision, attention, and care. I also love sending photo and video updates so you can see your pup enjoying their stay. I have experience with training and behavior work, including helping raise a previously reactive rescue dog. While I have that background, I’m currently focused on hosting dogs who are comfortable social playmates for Willow, so I’m not taking reactive dogs at this time. Our home also includes chickens (securely enclosed), and I’m happy to accommodate pickups or coordinate logistics to make things easy. As a graduate acupuncture student, I spend most of my days at home studying, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and structured care. Our daily routine includes relaxed time at home, walks around our mountain property near Carpinteria, rest breaks, and beach or town outings depending on your dog’s energy level. I’m able to accommodate active dogs who love adventure as well as pups who prefer a slower, cozy pace. Because I’m home frequently, dogs are rarely left alone and get lots of attention, enrichment, and outdoor time throughout the day. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. We live on a peaceful mountain property with plenty of outdoor space and a calm home environment. This property is unfenced. My dog Willow is a friendly, playful cattle dog mix who enjoys respectful dog companions. Dogs are supervised during interactions and introductions are done thoughtfully to ensure everyone feels comfortable. I’m experienced with training and behavior awareness, comfortable administering basic care, and attentive to each dog’s individual needs and boundaries. Our chickens are securely enclosed. I provide regular photo/video updates and maintain clear communication so you always feel confident while your pet is in my care.

About: Absolutely love dog sitting all kinds of breeds, any pet is a valuable addition to the family. I have grown up with different dog breeds and have experience dog sitting over night. Pittbulls are personally my favorite dog breed. I’m currently working part time and just wanting to provide a helping hand in anyway I can. I’m available all week long my schedule is very flexible. I live in a gated community and I have a fenced in yard with grass and dirt. I also have a five year old pet friendly husky named Rosy, and two cats named Artemis and Iris. If needed I can have separated since my yard splits into two with a gate.

About: I'm a lifelong animal owner and lover - large breeds and small or with fur, scales, hooves, or feathers. My live-in partner is the manager of a veterinary clinic and I am a certified dog trainer with an extensive history of working in the animal industry at pet stores, groomers, and ranches. Together, we offer a uniquely loving, experienced, and structured environment for pets of any size or special needs. Pets in our care are spoiled with snuggles and lots of love, treats (when permitted by their owners) and rarely spend time out of our sight. Long walks and playtime with our cattle dog and chihuahua wear out most dogs in no time. Unless specifically requested by their owners, dogs in our care are never crated for extended periods or locked inside without access to a fenced patio. I work from home and offer an open, flexible schedule for clients with pets of all kinds. My pups and I begin each day with a walk to the beach, then home for a quick bath, brush, and nap before more playtime in the afternoon. Working from home allows me all the time in the world to pamper my pups and our visiting guests, offering customized care for their unique needs. I treat drop-in visits like I would my own home, bringing in packages and ensuring everyone is happy and healthy before departing. Pets in my care are given extensive mental enrichment and physical exercise, with photos sent each visit to pet parents to ease any concerns and keep you informed about what your beloved furry family member is up to each day.

About: Please note that I work 9-5 in Santa Barbara. Please be sure you are comfortable with me being gone that long. I can recommend a dog walker who might be able to help with check-ins, based on her availability. My experience is predominantly in cats and dogs but I have also cared for birds, rabbits, fish, and reptiles. One of my regular customers in the past had llamas, camels, donkeys, tortoises, a pig, a ferret, a hedgehog, and two dogs + a litter of 8 week old puppies. I have also cared for my parents' horses. I work in Santa Barbara from 9-5. Please consider if you are comfortable with me being gone that long. I can recommend a dog walker who might be able to help with check-ins, depending on her availability. I am available in the evening all days of the week. I have Sundays and Mondays off so that's when I am most available for daytime services. I have no problem giving food, fresh water, and loving attention to your pets! Does your dog need playtime and walks? No problem! Does your cat need a lap to sit on before bed? No problem! I can also help with administering pills and liquid medications.

About: I’ve worked as a pet sitter since high school and have cared for all kinds of pets, large and small. From tarantulas to Pitt bulls, I love them all and I strive to ensure that their routines are followed and that they feel comfortable and loved. My work as a personal assistant allows for an extremely flexible schedule so I am available most week days and all weekends for check ins and walks. Although I am unable to bring pets into my home, I am available for home stays in a client’s home and can provide daily check ins and pet pics.
