“Stephen is wondering and attentive with our dogs. He is very understanding and patient with our older and grumpier dog. He truly treats them like his own. 4. Mitchell N.
About: And I want to hang with your doggo! I grew up with a dog, I dog-sat since I was 12, & I currently have 2 dogs of my own! I love pets! I can handle multiple dogs at once, I deal with 2 dogs every day. I am confident in handling reactive dogs. My dogs can be reactive on leash so I have learned to be proactive about avoiding confrontation with other animals when needed. I am open to watching & helping medicate older dogs. I got my dog when he was a puppy, so I am also comfortable looking over pups. Dogs can sense a person’s vibe & I have always been a person that dogs are drawn to. I have good energy, confident body language, & I know when to step up to set a boundary. And don’t worry, while I am hanging with your dog(s), my pups won’t be alone. Their loving mama will be with them. I do work a full time job (M-F, 9-5) but I work from home. Depending on location, I can take a work break to go walk your dog. For pet-sitting I am free all evening & I could bring my computer for an overnight weekday stay if necessary. I am free most weekends & weekday evenings/nights. I have a fully fenced property (front, sides, & back) that your dog will fully enjoy. I also have 2 fur friends of my own who would love to play with a new friend if you so desire. I can also keep them separate from your dog. If pet-sitting at your home, I will treat your place with respect. I am a clean person by nature & will follow any house rules given to me. My goal is to make sure you enjoy your time away without any worry or stress about your dog/home.

5. Gregory G.
“I think my dad would be perfect for Rover! He’s watched so many pets, including our old dog Shadow and his friends' dogs like pit bulls and German Shepherds. He’s really good with them and always takes his time on dog walks. He’s super professional too because he used to have an aggressive pit bull. Dogs just love him, and he really enjoys dog watching. Plus, we have a big backyard for the dogs to play in. I think he would be an awesome addition to Rover!”

6. Noah T.

“Noah has developed a great relationship with Monet. She is so happy - almost too happy :) to see him. Puppies can be challenging but Noah has a special touch. I will book him again.”

7. Mollie G.
“While I was vacationing in Europe I had Mollie take care of my bloodhound, Duncan. She was so good about catering to his needs like giving him his daily medication, sticking to his strict diet, and walking him twice a day. When I got back Duncan was obviously well looked after and a very happy dog! She is very trustworthy and will do an excellent job of taking care of your furry family member.”

8. Sidney Y.

“Once again, Sidney watched our two cats and took the best photos. She even took out our trash cans and brought them back in for us. Will be using her again. Thanks Sidney!”

9. Ella C.

“Ella is great with cooper! She has been able to help last minute which has been a lifesaver and always sends me pictures when she does drop in visits with him.”

10. Audrey B.

“Audrey was wonderful with our older, yellow lab while we were out of town for a few days. He received lots of love and attention, and she did a great job of communicating with us, including photos. We got to enjoy our vacation without worrying about our boy. We came home to a healthy, happy dog. Thank you, Audrey!!”

11. Tyler C.
About: I've been a dog lover all my life. The past 10 years I have personally owned a chihuahua named Bean, along with my wife Jess. I've had experience with a wide range of dogs of all sizes ranging from chihuahua to a great dane. I am generally readily available as I work from home. I currently work part time and make my own schedule, allowing me the flexibility to watch your pups as needed. I am available weekdays and some weekends. I love to create a comfortable environment for dogs and make sure they're able to be as cozy as can be. An example and one way I do this for my own dog is by making him a nest out of a giant fleece blanket every morning and wrapping him up.

12. Arianna R.

“Arianna again took great care of Baldwin while we were away. We loved the pictures and reports she sent. We knew she spent good time with him and all his needs were met. We will book her again in the future”

13. Anna A.

“Anna was attentive, friendly, and, most importantly, made sure I came home to a content cat. 10/10, would book Anna again!”

14. Emily H.
“I have entrusted my dogs with Emily for the past 6 years. She treats them as her own, and I never have to stress if they are under her care. I am able to go out of town without worry for their welfare. They probably have more fun with her than they do with me! In fact, I think they might be secretly disappointed when I finally return! I would highly recommend Emily to anyone in need of a caregiver for their pets.”

15. Krista L.
About: I have been surrounded by animals since I was little. I love animals probably more then people at times and I will love your fur babies as if they were my own and take great care of them! I’m currently working Monday through Friday from 11-5:15 so I have availability before and a little after depending on location. I am also free on weekends. I live in an apartment so I won’t be offering to take in any pets as theirs a limit of how many can be staying here. At the moment.

16. Lisa R.
“Lisa is honest, caring, and responsible. Our animals love her! While living near us she has cared for our horses, dogs, and cats. She walked our dog 2 miles a day. We wish she lived closer to us so that we could have her come more often!”

17. Katherine T.
“Katherine is my go-to pet sitter. She has experience with turtles, birds, cats and dogs of all sizes and breeds. She's given medications to my pets, and monitored tricky health concerns with great care and compassion. I know my pets are is capable hands when she is taking care of them.”

18. Justin H.
“My dog, Otis, LOVES Justin. We used to be housemates and when I came home from work, I’d find Otis hanging out with Justin! And when Justin came home, Otis was so excited to see him. He’s great with animals and treats them like his own!”

20. Merrit E.
About: Hey Carpinteria and surrounding locals! My name is Merrit, and I’m a teacher by day, wife, and dog mom of two by night! My two furry ones are a hoot! Sespe, is our 2 year old, 60lb mix of German Short Hair Pointer, Great Pyrenees, and Husky. She’s a lover of people and dogs. My smaller dog, Sierra, is a little more spicy with 9lbs of Miniature Pincher and Rat Terrier. My primary experience with dogs comes from raising and training both of mine. Both of my dogs have had professional dog training and are trained to be on and off leash. Their boundaries in our house vary by dog but, abide to the standards we set. Both of my dogs are very active with me, trail running, hiking, climbing and camping. If you're looking for someone who is used to a high-energy dog, I'm your girl! All of that said, I'm hoping that if you'd like to use my services, that you may have a little piece of mind knowing that I'm a dog owner myself. Lastly, I’m here to help our locals who are in need of pet care as I know how it feels when you can’t find anyone to help. As a teacher, my schedule is mostly limited to early mornings, after school hours, and weekends. However, we typically have the holidays off and I'm usually home with my furry ones. If you need help, please send a text and I’ll do what I can! My intention in caring for your pet(s), is to care for them as you would. Your pet's well-being, enrichment, and engagement is main purpose (in addition to making your life easier!). However, your house and pet rules, will become *my house and pet rules, and I promise to adhere to the needs you lay out for your pet.
