About: Hello fellow dog lovers! I have had dogs my whole life, and have often been the go to friend for dog sitting because I love having them around. My Labrador Retriever and Coonhound mix are both very spoiled yet well behaved. Roxy likes to lounge and Rambo (the crazy coonhound) is all about the party. Whether visiting your home or hosting at mine, I am more than happy to go above and beyond to make sure your furry family member has everything he or she needs. My dogs visit a holistic vet once a year, so I am very used to the little extras that can make such a difference! I know sometimes they can feel a little anxious being in unfamiliar surroundings too, and I am happy to make adjustments and communicate with you to make sure he or she feels secure. I have a flexible schedule and love to provide lots of quality time, playtime and exercise. About: Hi! I’ve lived with animals my whole life - mostly dogs (poodles!) - and I have two cats of my own who I absolutely adore. I recently moved to Ojai, CA to be closer to nature and embrace a lifestyle centered around wellness, animals, and the outdoors. I've decided to open my Rover sitting profile again (last time I was available on Rover I was in college), as I have had a few experiences sitting pets for friends and the community and I've realized how much I love it! My main gig is working as a marketing consultant remotely, so this lifestyle allows me the space and control over my time to be able to give your pets the attention and care they need daily. I also teach yoga and live a grounded lifestyle that pets tend to vibe with! I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes as well as senior dogs and those who require oral medication. I'm also a major cat lover - most cats warm up to me quickly, and I enjoy getting to know their unique personalities. I approach all animals with gentle loving kindness, making sure they feel seen as I speak to them and give them the attention they deserve. Animals are so special and I feel I can speak their language naturally. Whether we're going on walks through beautiful Ojai, playing in the yard, or just relaxing and providing gentle companionship, I’ll make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. You'll receive plenty of photos and updates, and your furry friend will receive all the pets and love they deserve. My job is working from home about 20-30 hours per week, so as long as you have wifi, I can be around to give lots of love and attention to your furry friend throughout the day. I have plenty of time and space to take breaks for walks, play and outdoor time. Whenever I am present in your home, I will keep my eyes on your pet. I will gently and lovingly communicate with them to make them feel safe in my presence. I will be attentive to their body language and won't overstimulate them with too many pets (if that's not their thing) - if that is their thing I will quickly pick up on it and be sure to give your pet lots of pets and love.
