About: Having worked in dog and cat boarding and veterinary care, I am well acquainted with the specialized care and dedication that our domesticated friends require. I have worked with senior dogs, I am comfortable administering medication and following complex instructions, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with and providing quality care for animals. Additional Animals: I not only have years of experience working with domesticated dogs and cats, but I also possess a degree in Exotic Animal Training and Management and have worked with many species of birds, small mammals, and reptiles- including snakes and turtles. About: We are a pet-centered family. Fur babies have been at the heart of our home for over 20 years. I love nature and giving pets the opportunity to relax and play where they feel the most comfortable. We can walk the park grounds right outside our door, relax on the deck, or snuggle on the couch. About: From a young age I would house sit for neighbors and would take care of their pets, whilst they were on vacation. I've taken care of older dogs that had special needs as well. I have been walking dogs for the past 5 years as a hobby, and as a way to stay healthy. When my friend's shoulder was dislocated I walked his Grey Wolf/Husky mix for him while he recovered. I am available most days, I have full availability on weekends, and late nights (10-11pm) all week for those dogs whom prefer cooler temperature walks. I am unable to host your dog at my home currently. I'm experienced in giving older dogs their medications including pills and Insulin. I can house sit and watch your pets while you are at work, on vacation, or even if it's just date night.

“Christina is a fabulous cat sitter and person! We had a great meet and great where she played with both cats, made sure she understood their feeding routine, asked about treats/toys/cat brushes, and she is the only pet sitter we've had through Rover who asked about emergency care (if needed), so she could be prepared if necessary. She spent much more time than the "required" 30 minutes per visit and took a ton of photos and videos. We could tell she spent time playing with them and didn't just rush in and rush out. The litter boxes were kept very clean and she has a great sense of humor, always letting us know that the cats left "presents" in the box each day. She was comfortable adding supplements to their food, which vary day to day. Christina is also familiar with RVs/travel trailers and took great care of ours. She also went above and beyond by washing their bowls, vacuuming up cat hair and dried cat food, and cleaning up a hair ball. One of our cats vomited up her food and she made sure to let me know and even followed up after we got back to make sure she was ok. Christina is also an incredibly talented artist. She left us some drawings of both cats that we will cherish forever. She allowed us to have a great Thanksgiving vacation with no doubts that our cats were being well taken care of. We will absolutely use her again and again!!”

About: Ive taken care of many dogs over the years and have always had a dog in the household growing up! The first dog that I’ve ever had was a dog named Maggie. Maggie was an elderly pit bull and she came from an unloving home prior to my family taking her on when I was about 5 years old. She was not as disciplined as you’d like an older dog to be, so she would have accidents all across the house and do naughty things like eat food off your plate when you weren’t looking! Understanding the life she was living before, we saw it as an honor that she was willing to get in trouble for a little fun lol. We had so much patience with her and gave her as much love as we could while she was still with us. I will always have a soft spot for pit bulls. Onto the more recent experience I’ve had, I am constantly working with dogs. I have a couple of clients that I house sit/walk for that deal with young puppies. Puppies have lots of energy and need to be treated as such. You need to have a lot of patience and understanding. When dealing with puppies you are pretty much dealing with a baby so it’s important to understand the fact they are not trained as well as a middle aged dog. Another field of dog experience I have is big energetic dogs. I walk a malamute named Luna three days a week and it definitely takes effort to control her. You can trust that I am competent enough to handle big, energetic and stubborn dogs! All the while providing your fur baby with love and care as if they were my own. I do DoorDash and Instacart (gig apps) so I have a really relaxed availability when it comes to scheduling of walks, potty breaks, feeding, etc. I can/will provide any type of service for your pet that is needed/wanted, just let me know and I can do it! Even if I’m not sure how to do it I am a fast learner that can get things done efficiently.

About: I was born into a family with Saint Bernards, and over my lifetime have owned seven Saints plus an English Mastiff, a pittie mix, a cat, birds, fish, rodents, reptiles, and horses. I've been described by friends and family as a dog whisperer, and I can't help but make friends with any dog I see. I've been dogsitting for friends and family on the side for years now, doing overnight visits, extended stays, and drop-ins for potty, walks, and meals. I love cats and dogs of all sizes, but I've always had a soft spot for the giant breeds. I was a cross country runner and still live an active lifestyle, so long walks and runs are no problem.
