“I can't say enough about Destiny. She is so loving to our senior Tiara and understanding of our, (as Destiny puts it), "private" Callie. Cleaning up poop and throw up doesn't seem to bother Destiny in the least. My house always cleaner when I get home! Destiny is truly the best sitter out there!”

About: I was born into a family with Saint Bernards, and over my lifetime have owned seven Saints plus an English Mastiff, a pittie mix, a cat, birds, fish, rodents, reptiles, and horses. I've been described by friends and family as a dog whisperer, and I can't help but make friends with any dog I see. I've been dogsitting for friends and family on the side for years now, doing overnight visits, extended stays, and drop-ins for potty, walks, and meals. I love cats and dogs of all sizes, but I've always had a soft spot for the giant breeds. I was a cross country runner and still live an active lifestyle, so long walks and runs are no problem. I can also do transportation to vet visits, doggy day care or walks at dog parks, etc. I'm looking forward to taking care of your furry family members! I am widely available for scheduling. I have a few steady clients with regular visits, but I can work with you and figure out the best schedule! As a lifelong animal owner, I understand the needs of many animals, as well as the feelings that owners have towards their furry friends. My initial clients were friends, but through the established trust and word of mouth recommendations, that list has grown. When doing overnight or extended stays, I will always bring in the mail, take out the trash, and perform any other household duties you may need. I've cared for sick dogs, handled emergency situations, and taken care of urine and other medical samples for my clients. Whatever you need, I can accommodate.
“Amy is such a phenomenal sitter! She’s very attentive and thorough when she visits my cats, and takes time to play with them. I appreciate how communicative she is about her visit and will hire her again for future trips.”

About: Recently came back to rover. I mostly do private pet sitting for fun. I love all animals, I am patient, and I enjoy going on walks and runs. I can follow special instructions for different dogs that require special attention. Which includes pets that require medication or special feeding routines. I have cared for dogs from as little as 2 pound yorkies to full grown golden retrievers. I will make sure that your pet is well feed and loved under my care. I will give your dog the attention it deserves and treat it like my own. I also currently own two mixed dogs that were adopted and a toy yorkie. I am currently a full time student, Which limits my avaliability. If a house sitter is needed on a Thursday as well which is not listed on as an option I will be available to start after 5pm. I’m always willing to try and make schedule accommodations that work best for YOU!
About: From a young age I would house sit for neighbors and would take care of their pets, whilst they were on vacation. I've taken care of older dogs that had special needs as well. I have been walking dogs for the past 5 years as a hobby, and as a way to stay healthy. When my friend's shoulder was dislocated I walked his Grey Wolf/Husky mix for him while he recovered. I am available most days, I have full availability on weekends, and late nights (10-11pm) all week for those dogs whom prefer cooler temperature walks. I am unable to host your dog at my home currently. I'm experienced in giving older dogs their medications including pills and Insulin. I can house sit and watch your pets while you are at work, on vacation, or even if it's just date night.
“Valerie was a life saver for me over the weekend when I didn’t have someone to watch my cat. She was prompt and kind and accommodating. I didn’t have to worry about my boy while we were away, and she sent a bunch of photos of him. When I could not make it home on time, she happily agreed to help me out with another house visit. I would definitely call on Valerie again when I travel.”

“Kelsey was amazing! She stopped by the house to check in on my pregnant cat. I hired her based on her previous experience and fantastic reviews. She was also able to swing by on very short notice. Thank you, Kelsey!”

“Dawn has been amazing with our puppy Obi! She is reliable, always on time, and Obi absolutely loves her! We are so happy to have found her, it makes leaving out pup so much easier.”

About: What sets me apart is the combination of real dog-mom experience, a deep passion for animal welfare, and years of caring for dogs of all ages and personalities. I’ve cared for puppies, energetic adults, and senior dogs who need extra patience and support. I’m comfortable with all types of breeds and temperaments, and I focus on giving each dog exactly what they need—whether that’s playtime, routine, comfort, or calm companionship. Beyond pet sitting, I’ve also hosted adoption events and built a network with local shelters, including supporting dogs on euthanasia lists by helping them find safe placements. This work has taught me how to read behavior, build trust quickly, and provide gentle, loving care to dogs who may be anxious or shy. My background as a previous dog mom helps me understand how important peace of mind is. I care for every dog with the same attention, love, and safety I wanted for my own. Your pup isn’t just watched—they’re truly cared for. I work full-time Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, but pet care fits naturally into my evenings and weekends. I do work from home 4 days a week and can drop in during the day if needed as well. I’m available for visits after work, as well as throughout the weekends, and I make sure each pet gets my full attention, consistency, and care during those times. My schedule allows me to provide reliable support for families who need evening check-ins, weekend care, or flexible coverage outside standard work hours. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine consistent and their environment comfortable. I follow all feeding, walking, playtime, and medication instructions exactly as provided. I make sure water bowls stay fresh, food areas and litter or potty spaces remain clean, and the home is left tidy after each visit. I pay close attention to behavior, energy levels, and overall well-being, and I provide regular updates so you always know how your pet is doing. My priority is to ensure your pet feels safe, relaxed, and cared for in the space they trust most—their own home.
“Christina is a fabulous cat sitter and person! We had a great meet and great where she played with both cats, made sure she understood their feeding routine, asked about treats/toys/cat brushes, and she is the only pet sitter we've had through Rover who asked about emergency care (if needed), so she could be prepared if necessary. She spent much more time than the "required" 30 minutes per visit and took a ton of photos and videos. We could tell she spent time playing with them and didn't just rush in and rush out. The litter boxes were kept very clean and she has a great sense of humor, always letting us know that the cats left "presents" in the box each day. She was comfortable adding supplements to their food, which vary day to day. Christina is also familiar with RVs/travel trailers and took great care of ours. She also went above and beyond by washing their bowls, vacuuming up cat hair and dried cat food, and cleaning up a hair ball. One of our cats vomited up her food and she made sure to let me know and even followed up after we got back to make sure she was ok. Christina is also an incredibly talented artist. She left us some drawings of both cats that we will cherish forever. She allowed us to have a great Thanksgiving vacation with no doubts that our cats were being well taken care of. We will absolutely use her again and again!!”

I can't say enough about Destiny. She is so loving to our senior Tiara and understanding of our, (as Destiny puts it), "private" Callie. Cleaning up poop and throw up doesn't seem to bother Destiny in the least. My house always cleaner when I get home! Destiny is truly the best sitter out there!

I highly recommend Annette! She accepted my booking request on very short notice, which was a huge help. She took great care of my three cats and was reliable, responsive, and thoughtful, sending me pictures and updates during each visit. It gave me peace of mind knowing my pets were in good hands while I was away. I truly appreciated her help and would gladly book with her again.

Alexis did a phenomenal job of caring for my two cats. She was accommodating of everything I asked and took great care of them. She sent plenty of updates each day to keep me posted on the status of their health and what silly shenanigans they got into. My house was as I left it, it was like I wasn't even gone. What a pleasure to work with her. I will definitely book her again in the future.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Margaret They took care of my cat with so much love, attention, and patience that I felt completely at ease while I was away. I got regular updates, adorable photos, and sweet notes about how my cat was doing—which meant the world to me. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and incredibly responsible to watch your furry family member, Margaret is the one. I’d book with them again in a heartbeat!

I can’t say enough about Dawn! My cat, Dolly, is a senior rescue who has always been shy and slow to trust. At the last minute, I decided to book in-home check-ins while I was away for two weeks, and during that time, Dolly and Dawn truly became friends. Dawn kept in touch after every visit, giving me peace of mind while I was out of the country. What amazed me most is that Dolly, who once hid under the bed for years and only gradually began trusting me, was sitting on Dawn’s lap and letting her be petted within a week. That kind of connection takes a special touch. On top of that, Dawn went above and beyond-cleaning up a few hairball messes and even vacuuming daily near the litter box. I feel so blessed to have found her and will absolutely be using her again.

She took great care of our cats and always ensured they were safe at home while we were gone. She provided us pictures and let us know during every visit how they were doing. Our cats are really shy around new people and they warmed up to her quickly in only a few visits. We will definitely contract her again in the future. Friendly and reliable.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
