“I am very pleased with the way Dawn took care of my three cats and my house. The cats are happy and Dawn followed all of my instructions to a "T". I won't hesitate to book with Dawn the next time I travel.”

“Alison was absolutely wonderful with Bentley! From our initial meet-and-greet, I could immediately tell she was kind, patient, and genuinely loves animals. As a dog mom, that’s incredibly important to me, and she made me feel completely at ease. During her visit, she took Bentley on a nice walk, spent quality time with him, gave him lots of affection, and followed all of my care instructions perfectly. I could tell she treated him with the same love and attention he’s used to receiving, which meant so much to me. She also kept me updated throughout the visit, and I came home to a happy, relaxed pup. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Alison again, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will truly care for their pet as if they were their own.”

“Alexis did a phenomenal job of caring for my two cats. She was accommodating of everything I asked and took great care of them. She sent plenty of updates each day to keep me posted on the status of their health and what silly shenanigans they got into. My house was as I left it, it was like I wasn't even gone. What a pleasure to work with her. I will definitely book her again in the future.”

“Denise was a 10/10 cat sitter. She was extra communicative, gave us very detailed updates from her visits, and was very respectful of our house. She’s also super sweet and friendly. Would definitely book her again!”

“Hillary was great. She looked after my dog and kitten, sending lots of pics at each check in. Plenty of walks and some play time. I’m very satisfied and will be a repeat customer.”

“Amy has been amazing for us while we've been out on our latest trip. We had an unexpected ant invasion that she's been extremely helpful with. We can tell that our cat really enjoys her visits and spending time with her.”

“Shannon was so cute with my cats! She sent me pictures each time she visited them. She is responsive to any concern, and is quick to communicate if she has concerns herself. I will absolutely be rebooking her in the future, thank you Shannon for being awesome and caring for my cats like they are yours. -Erica”

“Daniella did a fantastic job with our puppy during her drop in visits! She kept us in the loop with cute pictures and updates. Followed all instructions and went above and beyond to work on training and brushing. Would highly recommend!”

About: I was born into a family with Saint Bernards, and over my lifetime have owned seven Saints plus an English Mastiff, a pittie mix, a cat, birds, fish, rodents, reptiles, and horses. I've been described by friends and family as a dog whisperer, and I can't help but make friends with any dog I see. I've been dogsitting for friends and family on the side for years now, doing overnight visits, extended stays, and drop-ins for potty, walks, and meals. I love cats and dogs of all sizes, but I've always had a soft spot for the giant breeds. I was a cross country runner and still live an active lifestyle, so long walks and runs are no problem. I can also do transportation to vet visits, doggy day care or walks at dog parks, etc. I'm looking forward to taking care of your furry family members! I am widely available for scheduling. I have a few steady clients with regular visits, but I can work with you and figure out the best schedule! As a lifelong animal owner, I understand the needs of many animals, as well as the feelings that owners have towards their furry friends. My initial clients were friends, but through the established trust and word of mouth recommendations, that list has grown. When doing overnight or extended stays, I will always bring in the mail, take out the trash, and perform any other household duties you may need. I've cared for sick dogs, handled emergency situations, and taken care of urine and other medical samples for my clients. Whatever you need, I can accommodate.
About: Hi! I worked at a Humane Society. I pet sat for over 50 (and counting) dogs, cats, pigs, bunnies, fish and frogs. I studied Therapeutic Horsemanship. I had my own fantastic furbaby dog (now angel) named Oliver for 10 blessed years. I'm experienced with administering medicine, and with earning comfort and trust from anxious, stubborn animals. And above all, I truly and sincerely love animals. I am at awe with their heart based, present moment, authentic existence. If you wish to schedule a meet & greet we can either: ~Book first, and then happy to arrive sometime before the sit for you to introduce me to your pet (free of charge). OR ~If you wish to have a meet & greet prior to deciding on booking, please book a Drop-In Visit with me. *Personally I don't need it as I have experience of meeting animals in their home for the first time without their owners being present, but I understand if you prefer to have it. So it's completely up to you! I mostly work from home so will be spending good quality time with your fur baby. Whether they need extra exercise, extra couch cuddles, or both! I'm up for it! I care for them like they are my own. They'll have what they're used to, and more! If they have a steady routine, I will honor it. I'm happy to send pics daily, unless you prefer less :) - usually I send once every evening. I'm very clean and tidy and enjoy harmonious environment; so will keep your place that way! ***No indoor, backyard/balcony cameras. Exterior, street facing camera for security purposes is OK - however not a ring camera or wifi door code that tracks and notifies you of my every move. I am a professional with reviews and with years of experience. I’m an adult. I find tracking to be violating, and not a respectful practice. If you have a ring camera (or any indoor ones) please confirm in your inquiry that you’ll be deactivating/removing it. Thank you for your trust, I promise to tend to them (and your home) with the outmost reverence and love <3
“Sierra (Kora) was very attentive to our dogs and cats. We didn't have any worry while we were away. She was very caring and communicative. She also sent pictures of our dogs every visit which we appreciated!”

About: From a young age I would house sit for neighbors and would take care of their pets, whilst they were on vacation. I've taken care of older dogs that had special needs as well. I have been walking dogs for the past 5 years as a hobby, and as a way to stay healthy. When my friend's shoulder was dislocated I walked his Grey Wolf/Husky mix for him while he recovered. I am available most days, I have full availability on weekends, and late nights (10-11pm) all week for those dogs whom prefer cooler temperature walks. I am unable to host your dog at my home currently. I'm experienced in giving older dogs their medications including pills and Insulin. I can house sit and watch your pets while you are at work, on vacation, or even if it's just date night.

“Valerie was a life saver for me over the weekend when I didn’t have someone to watch my cat. She was prompt and kind and accommodating. I didn’t have to worry about my boy while we were away, and she sent a bunch of photos of him. When I could not make it home on time, she happily agreed to help me out with another house visit. I would definitely call on Valerie again when I travel.”

I highly recommend Annette! She accepted my booking request on very short notice, which was a huge help. She took great care of my three cats and was reliable, responsive, and thoughtful, sending me pictures and updates during each visit. It gave me peace of mind knowing my pets were in good hands while I was away. I truly appreciated her help and would gladly book with her again.

Alexis did a phenomenal job of caring for my two cats. She was accommodating of everything I asked and took great care of them. She sent plenty of updates each day to keep me posted on the status of their health and what silly shenanigans they got into. My house was as I left it, it was like I wasn't even gone. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Margaret They took care of my cat with so much love, attention, and patience that I felt completely at ease while I was away. I got regular updates, adorable photos, and sweet notes about how my cat was doing—which meant the world to me. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and incredibly responsible to watch your furry family member, Margaret is the one. I’d book with them again in a heartbeat!

I can’t say enough about Dawn! My cat, Dolly, is a senior rescue who has always been shy and slow to trust. At the last minute, I decided to book in-home check-ins while I was away for two weeks, and during that time, Dolly and Dawn truly became friends. Dawn kept in touch after every visit, giving me peace of mind while I was out of the country. What amazed me most is that Dolly, who once hid under the bed for years and only gradually began trusting me, was sitting on Dawn’s lap and letting her be petted within a week. That kind of connection takes a special touch. On top of that, Dawn went above and beyond-cleaning up a few hairball messes and even vacuuming daily near the litter box. I feel so blessed to have found her and will absolutely be using her again.

She took great care of our cats and always ensured they were safe at home while we were gone. She provided us pictures and let us know during every visit how they were doing. Our cats are really shy around new people and they warmed up to her quickly in only a few visits. We will definitely contract her again in the future. Friendly and reliable.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
