“Ali was very thorough in checking in on our lil comrades. She provided photos for every check in and was even able to interact with our cats which is rare considering how shy they are. We will definitely be reaching out to her on future trips.”

My cat loved her and was very comfortable around her, it was pretty much the best possible situation for both my cat and I. We love Rebecca! Thank you!”

About: From a young age I would house sit for neighbors and would take care of their pets, whilst they were on vacation. I've taken care of older dogs that had special needs as well. I have been walking dogs for the past 5 years as a hobby, and as a way to stay healthy. When my friend's shoulder was dislocated I walked his Grey Wolf/Husky mix for him while he recovered. I am available most days, I have full availability on weekends, and late nights (10-11pm) all week for those dogs whom prefer cooler temperature walks. I am unable to host your dog at my home currently. I'm experienced in giving older dogs their medications including pills and Insulin. I can house sit and watch your pets while you are at work, on vacation, or even if it's just date night.

About: I cannot wait to meet your fur-baby(ies)! I love animals and being around them brings me so much joy! Seeing them happy, smiling, playing and being loved is the best feeling. I grew up helping take care of our small family dog and have fond memories of our time together. Since, I have enjoyed helping friends walk their dogs and play with them any chance I get. Pet care is a daily routine, my cats are my fur babies. I am looking forward to expanding my love for animals and taking care of them outside of what I do at home. I work from home so I am able to be around my cats all day. I take care of their food, water and litter boxes daily. I make sure to give them all the pets they want, brush them if they let me and engage them in play. Two of my cats are harnessed trained so I take them outside almost daily.

“Curt took exceptional care of our Keesha, getting the pictures every visit was such a nice touch, we loved them. We would have him back again. The only tip I have is... Wash the used cat dishes before you leave, our house really had a cat food odor when we came home. That's it, we appreciate Curt and Rover and the work you do.”

“Mallory did a wonderful job taking care of my senior cat Helena while I was out of town. When I got home, Helena was her usual self- sassy, vocal, and ready to "help" with everything. Great pet sitter.”

About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds—dogs, cats, and even the occasional bunny! Although I haven’t been able to have a pet of my own due to school and family responsibilities, I’ve loved pouring that care and attention into the pets I walk and sit for. Whether it’s a high-energy pup who loves long walks or a senior dog who just needs a little extra TLC, I’m here to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and totally spoiled. I treat every animal like they’re my own and always aim to make our time together fun, comforting, and full of tail wags! It is overwhelmingly fulfilling for me, and I enjoy doing this so much, if you have any questions, just ask! My current responsibilities is my schooling and my health routine! I am in school at Ventura college full time pursuing psychology to hopefully work in behavioral health helping young children. Because of my school responsibility, I have chosen to be on Rover because of the flexibility! I am always available on any day to sit for your dog or take them on a walk :) When caring for pets in your home, I make it my mission to keep things as smooth and stress-free as possible—for both you and your pet! I follow your routine closely, from feeding and potty breaks to playtime and snuggles. I have experience administering medications (including pills and drops) and I’m patient and gentle with senior pets or animals who need a little extra TLC. I always treat your home with the same respect and care I give your pets—clean, responsible, and dependable. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, or needs special attention, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, loved, and right!

About: I'm the primary caretaker for my cat currently and have been a pet-sitter for dogs in the past for friends/family. I really love animals and have had experience caring for a young energetic puppy as well as a senior dog. I'm young and fit so I also love going on hikes or longer walks for the breeds that need more activity. I'm a quick learner and remember important details and will do my very best at any job. I'm working part-time in retail but only have a few shifts each week. Other than that I am also a college student working fully online so I'm free early mornings and during the typical work hours on weekdays. Weekend I'm pretty busy but I occasionally have openings in my schedule. I feed my cat wet food in the morning and refill his dry food when needed. I'm in charge of scheduling vet visits and grooming him. I thoroughly clean his water fountain every few weeks and clean his litter box. I also play with him when he's not sleeping.

About: I have taken care of my family and friend’s dogs over the years. I work from home thus hang with my cats. I love taking pets on walks, playing with them, and showing them love. I’ve also lived with cats throughout my life. I currently have a cat that I’ve taught to sit and high five. I would take my late senior dog on walks in the morning, afternoons and evenings. I’m experienced with giving dogs/cats medication such as pills or liquids with syringes, if needed. I currently work from home so I have flexibility to play with your dog and take them out on walks, if house sitting. I can housesit on weekends especially and avalible during the week. I can do prolong stays at your home to take care of your pets or to check in on them. I can take care of your dog and/or cat. I’d be glad to take them to the park or beach to get them to run around and play. Let me know if there is any special things your dogs need.

“This was my first time leaving my cats while I traveled, and from the moment I met Flor, I knew I had nothing to worry about. At our meet and greet we walked through the care instructions and Flor was attentive and asked questions, which let me know she wanted to provide the best care possible. Not only do I have two indoor cats that she fed, cleaned up after and gave attention to, I also care for a small feral/stray colony that she made sure were fed and got treats. She showed up on time for every meal and sent tons of photos of both the indoor cats and the feral/stray colony. It's evident that Flor cares deeply for animals and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND her!”

About: I’ve always loved animals of every kind since I was little. You always seen me outside running around with the neighbor’s dog or with a cat. I’m currently taking the summer off from my job. I work at a school, I love being either with kids or animals or even both. I have a huge fence backyard with plenty of grass and trees for your fur babies. If dogs needs to be crated, I’m able to keep your fur baby safe as possible and comfortable.

“Communicative and did a good job taking care of our kitties!”

“Valeria was very responsive and was able to accommodate my needs last minute. She did a great job communicating and following my instructions. I highly recommend her. My Great Dane Lyla looked very calm and happy. I received some Great photos of her!”

About: I was an intern at a vet hospital and I also work at a dog daycare so I’ve learned a few more things about animals there as well. I will treat your pets like my own and I will also respect their space if they are more weary of new people around them! I am currently working part time and in school but I do have some flexible availability and just looking for more ways to engage with animals and gain experience. Working at a dog daycare has helped me understand how to read more of their body language so it’s easy to tell when they’re stressed or need a break.

9. Zoe Z.
“I can’t say enough good things about Zoe Zarris and the care she provided for my senior dog, Jax. Jax is a 9-year-old husky mix who still loves being outside but needs a little extra attention these days — from sticking to his special diet, giving him his medication right on schedule, to making sure he didn’t overdo it on walks. Zoe was absolutely amazing with him! I found her to be patient, thoughtful, and I felt Zoe truly catered to everything Jax needed to stay happy and healthy. I could tell right away how comfortable and loved Jax felt in their care. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pet like their own, you couldn’t ask for anyone better! I met Zoe while she was in highschool through her mother, Zoe started by occasionally offering to walk Jax and then slowly as I got busier and accepted a new job, she was able to regularly engage with Jax on walks and even would house and dog sit while me and my family were away. We love Zoe!”

“Every time she visited us at home, she treated my pets with a lot of love as if they were her own. Like her, I have senior animals. She even gave my dog a special do ice cream treat. She cleaned up their back yard mess as well. What more could one ask?”
