“Flor is simply amazing! She looked after my dog as if it were her own, very communicative, respectful and very sweet. Will definitely recommend to my friends and family, and I will definitely book with her in the future. It was an amazing experience in general.”

About: I taken care of and trained my own dog, a sweet Pembroke Welsh Corgi. She has passed and now I want to continue spending time with pets. I am currently working full time but am available in the evenings and weekends. On the weekends I am available all day to assist with pet care. I can follow any instructions to keep your pet safe in your home. I take precautions and try to read body language if the pet does not feel secure.
“Waverly was amazing! The perfect amount of communication, super reliable, and sent the best pics. She did everything we asked for each drop-in visit, we could tell our pup was in good hands. Will definitely be booking again for future pet sitting!!”

About: Worked at Horizon Veterinary Hospital, so I’m calm and capable if a crisis comes up. I genuinely love long walks and give each pet individual attention, not just a quick in-and-out. I’ve pet sat for neighbors for years, so I’ve learned how to build trust with many different pets and owners. I also have 3 cats of my own, including one I raised from just a day old, so I understand what it takes to care for pets at every stage of life. I work from home, I can often be right there with your pet in their own space, no long stretches alone! I work from home, so all I need is WiFi, meaning I can be with your pets all day long, not just for quick visits. Your dog or cat gets consistent company and attention throughout the day, not a rushed drop-in. Your home is your pet’s safe space, and I treat it that way! Respectful of your space, mindful of routines, and focused on keeping things calm and familiar while you’re away. With my background at Horizon Veterinary Hospital, I know how to read pets’ body language and stress signals, so I can adjust to make sure they feel comfortable with me from day one. As a cat owner myself ( I have 3 of my own and raised one from just a day old ) I’m especially attentive to the small cues cats give when something’s off, and I bring that same watchfulness to every pet I care for.
About: I was born into a family with Saint Bernards, and over my lifetime have owned seven Saints plus an English Mastiff, a pittie mix, a cat, birds, fish, rodents, reptiles, and horses. I've been described by friends and family as a dog whisperer, and I can't help but make friends with any dog I see. I've been dogsitting for friends and family on the side for years now, doing overnight visits, extended stays, and drop-ins for potty, walks, and meals. I love cats and dogs of all sizes, but I've always had a soft spot for the giant breeds. I was a cross country runner and still live an active lifestyle, so long walks and runs are no problem. I can also do transportation to vet visits, doggy day care or walks at dog parks, etc. I'm looking forward to taking care of your furry family members! I am widely available for scheduling. I have a few steady clients with regular visits, but I can work with you and figure out the best schedule! As a lifelong animal owner, I understand the needs of many animals, as well as the feelings that owners have towards their furry friends. My initial clients were friends, but through the established trust and word of mouth recommendations, that list has grown. When doing overnight or extended stays, I will always bring in the mail, take out the trash, and perform any other household duties you may need. I've cared for sick dogs, handled emergency situations, and taken care of urine and other medical samples for my clients. Whatever you need, I can accommodate.
About: I have six years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I have a genuine love for animals. The bond between people and pets in incredible special. Even without words, animals have an amazing way of expressing treat, affection, and companionship. My priority is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owner is away. Pet care naturally fits into my routine because I have a flexible schedule. This allows me to dedicate my time and attention to the pets in my care. I am available for walks, drop ins, and overnight stays. My goals is to provide dependable care while keeping your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. I believe pets are happiest when their normal routine is maintained, so I follow each owners instructions closely. I also make sure to update owners with messages and pictures so that you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is being well cared for.
About: Hi, I’m Sharon—a proud “crazy dog mom” with two lovable rescue pups I’ve had for about 10 years. Trust me, I know how nerve-wracking it is to find someone who loves and cares for your dog as much as you do. That’s why I treat every pup like they are family. No request is too over-the-top for me. My own dogs have a multi-step dinner routine worthy of a Michelin star, so I’m fully prepared for quirky feeding schedules, bedtime rituals, or extra belly-rub requirements. I’ve cared for bouncy puppies, wise seniors, and everything in between. Whether your dog wants an all-day play session or a couch-potato cuddle marathon, I’ll match their energy. Right now, I offer drop-ins and walks. I work fully remote and normally end my work days early in the afternoon. I am currently available for drop-ins and walks after 2pm. On the weekends, I'm pretty flexible, I would just appreciate a couple days heads up if possible :) I always like to set up a Meet & Greet beforehand when and if time permits so you (and your dog!) can feel 100% confident. Trustworthy, reliable, and hopelessly dog-obsessed—that’s me. I can’t wait to meet your furry family member and spoil them like my own! I work fully remote and normally end my work days early in the afternoon. I am currently available for drop-ins and walks after 2pm. On the weekends, I'm pretty flexible, I would just appreciate a couple days heads up if possible :) When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat the space with the same respect I’d want for my own. I follow all house rules, honor boundaries, and keep everything tidy. My goal is to provide loving, reliable care for your pet while leaving your home exactly as I found it.

“Daniella did a fantastic job with our puppy during her drop in visits! She kept us in the loop with cute pictures and updates. Followed all instructions and went above and beyond to work on training and brushing. Would highly recommend!”

About: From a young age I would house sit for neighbors and would take care of their pets, whilst they were on vacation. I've taken care of older dogs that had special needs as well. I have been walking dogs for the past 5 years as a hobby, and as a way to stay healthy. When my friend's shoulder was dislocated I walked his Grey Wolf/Husky mix for him while he recovered. I am available most days, I have full availability on weekends, and late nights (10-11pm) all week for those dogs whom prefer cooler temperature walks. I am unable to host your dog at my home currently. I'm experienced in giving older dogs their medications including pills and Insulin. I can house sit and watch your pets while you are at work, on vacation, or even if it's just date night.
About: I provide more than just walks—I give personalized care tailored to each dog. I’m experienced with puppies, senior dogs, and special needs pets, including administering medications and gentle training. Your furry friend gets safe, attentive care and lots of love while you’re away. During the work week, my routine includes dedicated evening walks to decompress after the office. However, I leave my weekends entirely open for 'dog time.' My weekly routine involves taking longer hikes or providing more intensive care on my days off, making me a great fit for owners who need a reliable sitter for weekend trips or Friday night events. I focus on maintaining your pet's exact routine to keep them stress-free. My care includes structured morning and evening exercise, fresh food/water, and a focus on home security. I treat your space with total respect and keep you connected with daily photo updates and detailed Rover Cards.
About: I've taken care of dogs my whole life, but developed a love for it at 12. I've cared for many dogs from friends and family throughout the years, including our family dog. I'm comfortable and familiar with feeding, walks, bathroom breaks, bathing, giving meds, and giving lots of love and attention! I'm responsible, patient, and attentive and my goal is to always keep them comfortable, happy, and healthy! Am currently unemployed, so open schedule! Available for all needs including drop ins, walks, pet sitting, etc. Will update when my schedule becomes more full! I take pet safety very seriously and will always make sure pets are secure and comfortable. I’m very attentive to their habits, moods, and needs. I’ll make sure they always have plenty of food & water, love, and attention. I follow each owner's instructions and schedule and keep a close eye on pets. If pet sitting, I always keep the environment clean and organized and always supervise. When on walks, I always take precautions and stay alert for any situation, and follow any instructions if given and will always keep you updated. Safety is always no. 1 priority! I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, so I always treat & love them like my own.
About: In my early 20s I was responsible for pet-sitting for my aunt who had 3 full grown cats. At one point, a small litter kittens was also thrown into the mix. I enjoyed every minute of cuddling and playing with those cats. Aside from that, I was sole pet-sitter for my own pets whenever my parents went out of town. We had a chow chow and a husky who were polar opposites of one another, but got along perfectly well and both enjoyed our lazy days at home while mom and dad were away. Daily walks and outside play time were extremely important for bonding, exercise (for me and the dogs), and socializing with some of the neighborhood dogs. I have spent many hours also pet sitting for close friends, including senior aged dogs and cats. Now I am a proud cat mom of 2 that offers lots of love and care that will most certainly extend to your fur babies as well. I work full-time, but always make time to care for fur babies while their parents are away and ensure they are getting the proper love, attention, and care during my visits. I adhere to all instructions provided when caring for a pet. Your pet’s safety and well-being is my number one priority while I am in your home.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Santa Paula
A+++ Dog Sitter!! We give Flor 5 stars because that’s what she totally deserves! ⭐️ This is our third time using her and she is now our “go to” because of the special care she gives our fur babies! Great communicator and very friendly and positive attitude!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Flor pet sitting for us. She took such great care of both our bunny and our cat while we were away. Not only did she make sure they were well-fed and comfortable, but she also spent quality time playing with them, which gave us so much peace of mind. One of the things we appreciated most was her consistent communication, she sent photos during every visit, and it was so reassuring to see our pets happy, relaxed, and well cared for. It’s clear she genuinely loves animals and treats them like her own. We came home to two very content pets, and we couldn’t be more grateful. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and attentive pet sitter!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
