About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was a kid. I have years of experience working with large dogs with anxiety and high energy, especially German Shepherds. I have been trained in reconditioning and desensitization training for anxious/traumatized dogs. I also love working with small and medium dogs. I am very attuned to the body language of cats and dogs and am attentive to their nervous system to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort. I’m currently working part time and my schedule is very flexible. I can also do most of my work remotely so I can be with your pets even more. I can be available most days and nights. I strive to maintain your pet’s normal routine, whatever that may look like. I know that when you are away, that can be more stressful for your pet so I try to do whatever I can to make your pet more relaxed and happy. If I am house sitting overnight, I will clean any dishes I have used, launder any sheets or towels if I am able and generally leave a tidy space for you to return to.

About: Hello. My name is Veronica. I live close to Pleasant Valley High School in Camarillo. I took a break from dog sitting, walking, etc. the past several years as my job required me to be out of town in office on several days. My office work has since changed. I now work only part time (gradually easing into retirement) and work remotely from home. When my beloved Dexter passed away, I rescued my current dog, Dakota. Unfortunately, due to his traumatic start in life, he does not get along with other dogs; therefore, I can no longer watch other pet parents' dogs in my home nor can I stay overnight in their homes. However, I am available to dogsit during the day in your home and also walk your fur babies. I do love to be outdoors. I am an enthusiastic animal lover (the reason for my vegetarian lifestyle). I especially love dogs. I am very active. I regularly hike trails and walk daily. I will text or e-mail you constant updates including photos of your loved one(s) while in my care. About this sitter: I am a passionate animal lover.......the reason I am a vegetarian. I especially love dogs and could not imagine life without at least one dog in my family. I love being outdoors and lead a very active lifestyle.....canyon hikes, beach walks, and neighborhood walks/jogs. My current best friend, Dakota certainly keeps me moving! I have had at least two dogs in my family my entire life....and as many as four dogs for many years. My last two senior dogs passed away several years ago, leaving me with only one dog, my Boxer, Dexter, who then passed away almost 3 years ago due to advanced heart failure at age 11. Within a month later, I rescued Dakota, a labrador. I couldn't imagine my home without at least one dog sharing it with me.

About: I have over a decade of pet-sitting all different types of dogs. I like to think of myself as a dog whisperer because I pay close attention to each dog’s personality, needs, and comfort level. I always try to understand the pets in my care and make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy. I am very passionate about pups, and making them happy truly makes me happy. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and understand the patience, gentleness, and extra attention they may need and require. 🫶🏽 am currently a full-time student, but I am on summer break, so I have a very flexible schedule and spend a lot of time at home. I enjoy spending my days hanging out with my own pup and going on long daily walks. Since I am home often, I am able to give pets plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. My home is very dog-friendly, calm, and welcoming. I have one dog, and she is incredibly sweet, friendly, and used to being around other pups. She does not mind sharing the couch, the backyard, or her space. I want every dog in my care to feel comfortable, safe, and at home.

“There are not enough stars to rate Alex for his incredible service. Alex was extremely punctual, professional and above all caring and kind to both of our dogs. The thing that stood out to me the most was that he actually took the time to play with my dogs during the visits, many people just feed and leave but he made sure they were loved on and tired by the end of the visit. He was also extremely communicative and reassuring that our pups were in great hands. I can’t recommend Alex enough, he is a great guy and an awesome sitter. Our dogs love him already, we will be using him again!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a little child, ranging from Yorkies to Great Danes. Along with taking care of friends and family dogs I have had to pleasure of owning my own. I recently purchased my own working dog and hope to bring to the table all of the knowledge I have learned through this experience! I recently finished my commercial fishing season which leaves me with plenty of free time. That being said I tend to start my mornings off early to beat the heat for the dogs! I have a fully fenced in back yard that is large enough to run around in. I also have my own dog that would enjoy keeping your dog company

Because of this, it’s easy for me to fit pet sitting, walking, and check-ins into my routine and give each pet the time and care they need. I care for pets by following their usual routines and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. In my home or a client’s home, I provide fresh food and water, regular walks or playtime, litter box or cleanup care, and lots of attention. I respect the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications if needed, and house rules. I always keep the environment clean and make sure pets are supervised and never left feeling stressed or ignored.

About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life and have my fair share of experience with a wide range of animals. I love all kinds of pets, creatures, critters, you name it! I believe all pets deserved to be treated with love and care. I helped raise our family puppies growing up, so I am familiar with potty training and kennel and leash training. I am familiar with strict regimes and medication application if needed. I also am quite strong (not to toot my own horn) but if needed, I am comfortable lifting geriatric dogs no greater than 80lbs. Hi, my name is Maddi and I’m a lifelong animal lover with a special place in my heart for dogs. I’m 27 and grew up in San Clemente, CA, where my family and I always had our labs by our side whether it was at the beach, on a hike, or camping under the stars. I am free in the mornings and afternoons for walks, and can squeeze in a beach day if your pets likes to go swimming! My work schedule is dynamic, but for most given days I can dedicate two-three hours for walks, cuddles, whatever else you could need. As an active, outdoorsy person, I know the importance of keeping pets happy, healthy, and engaged. I have hands on experience caring for dogs, cats, and rabbits, and I treat every animal like my own, showering them with love, attention, and plenty of playtime. Whether it’s a walk, a cuddle session, or a weekend of pet sitting, I’m dedicated to making sure your pets feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while you’re away. I am familiar and have experience training my family puppies, so if needed I can stick with a strict regimen. I will treat your pet with the utmost caution when it comes to walking in public/neighborhoods. I respect that not all dogs/animals are friendly but deserve to be outside as well, so I tend to walk on the opposite side of the street when passing another pet or person. I am also familiar with socialization and reading dog's social behaviors. At home, I make sure to double check that all exists are secured before I leave and that the house is locked before heading out. While I am indoors with pets, I will give them my undivided attention and love, as well as making sure they are well fed and have plenty of water for when they will be left alone. I will do whatever necessary to make sure that you and your pet feel safe and secure, and most of all happy!

About: 🐾 About Us Hi, I’m Chloe! My husband and I are newly married and both work as youth directors. We’ve grown up around all kinds of animals and genuinely love caring for pets like family. 🤍 We only work 3 days a week from 9 AM–3 PM, so we have plenty of flexibility for walks, boarding, drop-ins, and pet care. We’re also available to do drop-in visits around our work schedule. We live in a secure apartment community with a fenced dog park and an on-site dog wash called The Pawlor, giving your pup plenty of opportunities for exercise, play, and some extra pampering! 🐶 Requested Information About Your Pet Before your pet’s stay, we’d love to know about their routine, personality, special needs, feeding schedule, medications, and any behaviors we should be aware of. Our goal is to make their stay as comfortable, safe, and enjoyable as possible. 🐾 During the Stay Your pup will get plenty of love, attention, playtime, and exercise throughout their stay. We enjoy daily walks and trips to the dog park, followed by lots of cuddles and relaxing time. We’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident knowing your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away. 🐶🤍 Your pet isn’t just staying with us—they’re part of our family while they’re here! I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for your pets. I’m available for boarding on weekends and can provide walks, drop-ins, and playtime on weekdays after 2 p.m. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and make sure they receive the attention, exercise, and care they need while you’re away. About: Hi! I'm Gabby, a recent CSU Channel Islands graduate with a B. A. in Psychology. I'll be starting my Master's in Counseling Psychology (MFT emphasis) at California Lutheran University this fall. I'm currently looking for part-time dog walking, dog boarding, and drop-in visits that work well with my graduate school schedule. I've loved animals my whole life and began volunteering with Ventura County Animal Services as soon as I turned 18, where I volunteered for about three years. I also started pet sitting in 2019 and have experience with dog walking, drop-in visits, overnight house and pet sitting, and boarding dogs in my home. I have two female Labradoodles and two cats, so any dogs staying in my home must be friendly with both dogs and cats. I'm comfortable caring for pets overnight and always strive to make them feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away! Pet care is a regular part of my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule while I’m in graduate school, so I’m available for daytime and overnight boarding any day of the week, as well as dog walking and drop-in visits. Since I have pets of my own, caring for animals is already a big part of my everyday life, and I enjoy making sure every pet gets the attention, exercise, and love they need while their owners are away. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. My two Labradoodles are indoor dogs, but they have access to a large, securely fenced yard where I let them out throughout the day to run, play, and get plenty of exercise. I don’t have a doggie door because my two cats are indoor-only, so all outdoor time is supervised. My dogs are very friendly and love meeting new dog friends, and my cats are comfortable around dogs, so I only board pets that are friendly with both dogs and cats. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to maintain their normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and lots of love and attention. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritize their safety, comfort, and well-being. At night, my pets have their own comfortable sleeping routines. My older Labradoodle sleeps with my parents, and my younger Labradoodle sleeps with me. Any dog boarding in my home is welcome to sleep in my room if that helps them feel more comfortable, or I’m happy to follow whatever routine works best for them and their owner, such as sleeping in a crate or their own designated sleeping space.
