About: Hello. My name is Veronica. I live close to Pleasant Valley High School in Camarillo. I took a break from dog sitting, walking, etc. the past several years as my job required me to be out of town in office on several days. My office work has since changed. I now work only part time (gradually easing into retirement) and work remotely from home. When my beloved Dexter passed away, I rescued my current dog, Dakota. Unfortunately, due to his traumatic start in life, he does not get along with other dogs; therefore, I can no longer watch other pet parents' dogs in my home nor can I stay overnight in their homes. However, I am available to dogsit during the day in your home and also walk your fur babies. I do love to be outdoors. I am an enthusiastic animal lover (the reason for my vegetarian lifestyle). I especially love dogs. I am very active. I regularly hike trails and walk daily. I will text or e-mail you constant updates including photos of your loved one(s) while in my care. About this sitter: I am a passionate animal lover.......the reason I am a vegetarian. I especially love dogs and could not imagine life without at least one dog in my family. I love being outdoors and lead a very active lifestyle.....canyon hikes, beach walks, and neighborhood walks/jogs. My current best friend, Dakota certainly keeps me moving! I have had at least two dogs in my family my entire life....and as many as four dogs for many years. My last two senior dogs passed away several years ago, leaving me with only one dog, my Boxer, Dexter, who then passed away almost 3 years ago due to advanced heart failure at age 11. Within a month later, I rescued Dakota, a labrador. I couldn't imagine my home without at least one dog sharing it with me.

About: 🐾 About Us Hi, I’m Chloe! My husband and I are newly married and both work as youth directors. We’ve grown up around all kinds of animals and genuinely love caring for pets like family. 🤍 We only work 3 days a week from 9 AM–3 PM, so we have plenty of flexibility for walks, boarding, drop-ins, and pet care. We’re also available to do drop-in visits around our work schedule. We live in a secure apartment community with a fenced dog park and an on-site dog wash called The Pawlor, giving your pup plenty of opportunities for exercise, play, and some extra pampering! 🐶 Requested Information About Your Pet Before your pet’s stay, we’d love to know about their routine, personality, special needs, feeding schedule, medications, and any behaviors we should be aware of. Our goal is to make their stay as comfortable, safe, and enjoyable as possible. 🐾 During the Stay Your pup will get plenty of love, attention, playtime, and exercise throughout their stay. We enjoy daily walks and trips to the dog park, followed by lots of cuddles and relaxing time. We’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident knowing your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away. 🐶🤍 Your pet isn’t just staying with us—they’re part of our family while they’re here! I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for your pets. I’m available for boarding on weekends and can provide walks, drop-ins, and playtime on weekdays after 2 p.m. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and make sure they receive the attention, exercise, and care they need while you’re away. I prioritize your pet’s safety by keeping a close eye on them, maintaining a secure environment, following your care instructions carefully, and making sure they are always supervised and comfortable. I live in a secure apartment community with a fenced-in dog park, providing a safe space for pets to enjoy some outdoor time. Your pet’s well-being is my top priority!

About: Hi! I'm Gabby, a recent CSU Channel Islands graduate with a B. A. in Psychology. I'll be starting my Master's in Counseling Psychology (MFT emphasis) at California Lutheran University this fall. I'm currently looking for part-time dog walking, dog boarding, and drop-in visits that work well with my graduate school schedule. I've loved animals my whole life and began volunteering with Ventura County Animal Services as soon as I turned 18, where I volunteered for about three years. I also started pet sitting in 2019 and have experience with dog walking, drop-in visits, overnight house and pet sitting, and boarding dogs in my home. I have two female Labradoodles and two cats, so any dogs staying in my home must be friendly with both dogs and cats. I'm comfortable caring for pets overnight and always strive to make them feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away! Pet care is a regular part of my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule while I’m in graduate school, so I’m available for daytime and overnight boarding any day of the week, as well as dog walking and drop-in visits. Since I have pets of my own, caring for animals is already a big part of my everyday life, and I enjoy making sure every pet gets the attention, exercise, and love they need while their owners are away. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. My two Labradoodles are indoor dogs, but they have access to a large, securely fenced yard where I let them out throughout the day to run, play, and get plenty of exercise. I don’t have a doggie door because my two cats are indoor-only, so all outdoor time is supervised. My dogs are very friendly and love meeting new dog friends, and my cats are comfortable around dogs, so I only board pets that are friendly with both dogs and cats. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to maintain their normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and lots of love and attention. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritize their safety, comfort, and well-being. At night, my pets have their own comfortable sleeping routines. My older Labradoodle sleeps with my parents, and my younger Labradoodle sleeps with me. Any dog boarding in my home is welcome to sleep in my room if that helps them feel more comfortable, or I’m happy to follow whatever routine works best for them and their owner, such as sleeping in a crate or their own designated sleeping space.

About: I spent my entire life with cats and dogs and I honestly can't imagine a home without them. Over the years, i've cared for everything from newborn kittens that needed bottle feeding to senior cats and dogs who required extra patience, medications and specialized care. I have experience giving oral medications and caring for pets with ongoing medical needs. Senior pets have a special place in my heart, and I've rescued several older cats and dogs because I believe they deserve just as much love and comfort in their golden years. I know every pet has their own personality. Some are playful and social, while others are shy,anxious or simply needs someone who understands that trust takes time. I have a lot experience caring for friends and family dogs, such as Labradors, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Chihuahuas, Chow-chows, Bichons, Mastiffs, and other mixes. Now that I currently have free time, I would love to care for yours. I have lived with roommates with dogs from Bulldogs, Pitt-bulls, Boxers to Pomeranians. I worked and lived many years on a farm where taking care of three Rottweiler farm dogs at the same time was part of the job description. It did not seem like work at all, because farm life with dogs is absolute bliss. I have an interest in learning about the holistic approach when caring for my dog. I want her to have the most optimal life in the most natural way. I admire Juliette De Baïracli Levy a lot and am currently learning about her work with animals. My approach is friendly yet stern enough for the big furry friends. I love big dogs as I have had lifelong friendships/experience with many Rottweilers and an entire littler of Labradors who are now Seniors. When I was caring for the dogs on the farm, two Rottweilers came as puppies while I was caring for another who was middle to eventually Senior. I would give the Senior medicine. And eventually one of the puppies grew up and got sick and needed medicine too. I believe the Rottweiler is my spirit animal for they always magically show up in my life. <3 My current dog is a big German Shepherd Cattle dog mix, sweetie girl. She is two years old and acts like a big puppy. She is curious with high energy. She is very cute and smart so she tries to test limits, but overall thrives to be a good girl. It makes me proud when I get positive feedback from those that meet her. I am currently working part time as well as studying which allows me to very easily fit in pet care every day in my routine. I am currently unable to share my home for boarding care. I’d be happy to care for them if they need someone present for overnight stays.

About: I have been boarding and caring for animals through Rover for almost 6 years. Due to my recent move, I am unable to accomodate boarding in my unit. However, I am available to walk your puppies or drop in to check on them. I have experience with all kinds of breeds and temperaments. Let me know how I can help! I have two dogs of my own and am willing to help someone else out around my work schedule. Just let me know what you need. I am no longer able to support boarding dogs in my new unit do to the space. However, I am able to walk and drop in on your puppies.
