I enjoy spending time with them, and since I don't have pets of my own, I'd enjoy spending time and caring for your pet I am available weekdays during the day or overnight, I work part time on some weekends during the day so I am available to care for your pet pretty much all week I can walk your pet, feed them, and take care of all their needs. I could either watch them during the day or pet-sit them over night.

Our pets are our family, they bring us the joy and love we sometimes don’t even realize we’re missing. They are just babies and should always be treated as priority!
About: I treat every dog like family, providing patient, loving, and attentive care to keep them safe, happy, and comfortable every moment you’re away from them. Making sure your dog gets the attention and love they deserve! In my home, I make sure pets feel safe and comfortable with cozy spaces, regular walks, playtime, and lots of attention. About: I am a huge animal lover (often times more than a human lover) and find such happiness in caring for them. I treat every pet as if they were my own with treats, pets, and the occasional selfie. I have experience in training puppies, caring for elderly dogs, and of course the sass of caring for kitties as well. I hope you consider me to be a friend to your pet! I have a flexible schedule and spend a lot of time at home caring for my own pets. Because of this, I’m very used to daily routines like feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and checking on animals throughout the day. I’m available for drop-ins, walks, and pet sitting, and I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and care while their owners are away. I take safety and comfort very seriously when caring for pets. I’m very attentive to animal behavior and make sure pets feel calm, safe, and secure in their environment. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully for feeding, routines, and any special care. I also have experience with multiple pets in a home, including my own cats and dog, so I’m comfortable managing different personalities and making sure every animal gets the attention they need.

I couldn’t recommend Charisma enough, she is like a pet whisperer with my dogs 😊🙏🏻”

For weekends, I'm available all day on Saturday. Sunday, I'm available from morning until 12 pm. I will care for your pets the way I care for my own. About: When I was 8, my family got a Shih Tzu pup that I learned so much from over his 15 years of life. Because of the tight-knit bond I had with my Shih Tzu, I'm most familiar with the needs of small/toy breeds like grooming, exercise, and senior health issues. I recently volunteered at the county animal shelter, where I was responsible for providing dogs with enrichment and exercise. As part of the training, I became familiar with interpreting and understanding dog behaviors (regardless of sex/breed), like adjusting to their comfort levels, respecting their boundaries, and reading their body language to ensure everyone's safety (including theirs). My family members have always told me how patient and loving I am with animals in general. When I was a kid, I was bitten by a dog, and although it terrified me then, I never developed a fear or resentment towards dogs. If anything, it made me want to show them more love and compassion throughout my adulthood. Ultimately, I can assure you that your buddies will be cared for like they’re family! I'm currently on medical leave from both college and work, so I'm at home most of the day and will have plenty of time to spend with your beloved pets throughout their stay. When it comes to any services offered, I want to make sure that your pets and I are safe at all times. Aside from safety, their comfort is very important to me. I'll do my absolute best to make sure they feel safe and comfortable under my care. I always make sure to introduce myself slowly and will respect your friend’s need for space at any point, especially if they're shy. I usually turn the area under my desk into a mini fort for them with their blanket and other comfort items like beds or toys. This usually helps them have a safe and comfortable space to retreat to if they ever get startled or overstimulated.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Oxnard
Ariana is such a good dog walker and sitter. I trust her 100% with my dogs and my house too! I have never let a stranger in my house. I came home from being out of town and my house doesn’t smell or I didn’t see any poop or pee. My dogs are perfectly happy with her. Thank you Ariana! You’re the best.
Charisma has been walking my Doberman for the past month and she has been great. From all the shifting around of days, she always comes through. My dog adores her as well, he gets so excited when she picks him up. My Doberman is very active and Charisma jogging with him is helpful. I do recommend Charisma

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
