“I can’t recommend this dog walker enough! From day one, they’ve treated my dog like family. They’re reliable, professional, and genuinely care about the dogs they work with. My pup gets so excited every time they arrive, which says everything about the trust and bond they’ve built. I always have peace of mind knowing my dog is getting plenty of exercise, attention, and love while I’m away. They communicate well, are dependable, and consistently go above and beyond. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares for your pet as if it were their own, I highly recommend them!”

About: Since I was 5 years old dogs have always been a big part of my life, I have also worked at a dog day care for 1 year. I am currently on summer vacation from work until the end of august. So I have an open availability to care for your fur babies I will cater to any of your dog’s needs since they are unique in their own way and each dog has its own routine, I will follow their routine to make them feel safe and comfortable.
About: Having worked in dog and cat boarding and veterinary care, I am well acquainted with the specialized care and dedication that our domesticated friends require. I have worked with senior dogs, I am comfortable administering medication and following complex instructions, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with and providing quality care for animals. Additional Animals: I not only have years of experience working with domesticated dogs and cats, but I also possess a degree in Exotic Animal Training and Management and have worked with many species of birds, small mammals, and reptiles- including snakes and turtles. Other skills: I have experience with basic obedience training. I can provide stimulating and fun enrichment to occupy your pets. I am punctual, reliable, and honest. I am currently working part-time, so I am flexible to your needs. My availability is pretty open for home visits and walks during the day. Every pet family has their own routine, and I am fully capable of caring for your animals exactly as you prefer: preparing meals, companionship, walks, administering enrichment and/or medication, and potentially basic training.

About: I have always had a good experience with meeting dogs for the first time and do not get easily intimidated by their size. The more the dog, the more there is to love! I have had a pet my whole life and so I have learned what they love most and what they dislike. Northridge/Valley Monday-Thursday in the afternoons and evening. Friday-Sunday Ventura county, times vary I would never force a dog into my schedule for the sake of making money. It is only when I know I can be fully present and treat them the best to my abilities is when I accept an offer. I have a large fenced backyard for my Siberian Husky, many of his siblings live nearby and I will occasionally walk him with them and let them play with one another. I love to run and hike with my dog but never push him past his limits. I typically run with my dog in the early morning or evening to prevent overheating. I will NEVER run with your dog if it is outside of your wishes. If it is something you would like me to do then I would be more than happy to :)

About: I've had dogs since I was thirteen; I've trained them since they were pups. I know how to care for them, play with them, feed them, and bathe them. I'm currently working part-time and have a pretty flexible schedule to take care of any sweet critters! On weekdays, I'm available to house-sit mornings until 1 pm and nights/overnights after 6 pm! For weekends, I'm available all day on Saturday. Sunday, I'm available from morning until 12 pm. I will care for your pets the way I care for my own. I'm one to stick to a routine they're familiar with and am extremely patient with slowly introducing myself to your pet. I do my best to make sure they're comfortable and have their own space. I will ensure they get plenty of play time. For your dog's safety on walks, I avoid approaching other dogs unless told otherwise.
About: I have been raised as an animal lover. I’ve grown up with pet(s) my entire life. I have taken care of dogs, cats, bunnies, parrots, parakeets, guinea pigs, fish, and iguanas. It’s safe to say I’ve lived in the jungle. I started to professionally care for pets in 2022 while I was in college while housesitting, the most up to three dogs over the course of 5 days. Since then, almost every time, I have supervised and cared for pets simultaneously while house sitting. I would also babysit (6mo-5yrs old) while also caring for the dogs/cats at most to 8 hours. In total, I have provided palliative care for 4 senior dogs now, ensuring that the ends of their days are full of love, care, and reassurance. I also have experience caring for a dog with anxiety and administering medications when instructed to. I’m currently in school but working part-time, so I have extra time to spend with your furry baby! I am usually free in the mornings everyday before 3PM, then anytime after 6PM on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays I am personally a nanny / pet sitter who believes in appreciating the space but leaving no trace when it comes to caring for an animal in the owner’s home. I understand the level of trust that is given to me to care for your animal let alone being with your residence, so I do take that very seriously.

About: I really focus on making pets feel safe and at ease by sticking to their routines and respecting their personalities. I’m calm, patient, and very attentive. I treat every pet the way I’d want someone to treat mine: with consistency, affection, and respect for their space and needs. I’m home often and keep a consistent daily routine, so pet care fits in very naturally. I plan my day around feeding, walks, playtime, and quiet time, and I’m always mindful of sticking to a pet’s normal schedule so they feel comfortable and secure. I always want to make sure your pet sees me as a companion and not as an intruder. I treat your home and your pet with a lot of care and respect. I stick closely to your pet’s routine, make sure they feel comfortable and loved, and give them the right balance of play, affection, and calm time.

About: I’m good with dogs. I’m also very patient and interactive with them. No longer have my own but I’ll treat your doggie like my own. I’m am currently working nights during the week so I have time in the morning for some walks or some hikes. Weekends schedule always changes. Previously I’ve dog sat and at the same time house sat while clients were out of town. I’m very cautious and trustworthy as well very vigilant of my surroundings.
About: I’ve been a dog owner for over 10 years now. Grew up with dogs, love training and taking care of them. I know all the basics of dog care. I’m only working part time, gives me plenty of extra time to take care of some pups! Super flexible and reliable. Just trying to make some extra income helping out! Taking care of the dog and home as if it’s my own, being clean and safe with the space. Making sure things are just as or better then I found it.
About: I've had pets all my life, and I've cared for many different animals and reptiles. I enjoy spending time with them, and since I don't have pets of my own, I'd enjoy spending time and caring for your pet I am available weekdays during the day or overnight, I work part time on some weekends during the day so I am available to care for your pet pretty much all week I can walk your pet, feed them, and take care of all their needs. Ariana is such a good dog walker and sitter. I trust her 100% with my dogs and my house too! I have never let a stranger in my house. I came home from being out of town and my house doesn’t smell or I didn’t see any poop or pee. My dogs are perfectly happy with her. Thank you Ariana! You’re the best.
Charisma has been walking my Doberman for the past month and she has been great. From all the shifting around of days, she always comes through. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
