Looking to stay active incorporating my two favorite things, dogs and outdoors. I am newly retired and looking for activities to keep me sharp, mind, body and soul. I have loved dogs my whole life and most love me too. I have a secure backyard, a 12 yr old Maltese named Roscoe. Our days are pretty chill with walks to the park and car rides. If I stay in your home, just let me know what your expectations are and any routines you’d like me to follow.
About: I come from an animal loving family, especially dogs! I’ve cared for fur friends of all breeds, sizes, and personalities for over 10 years. I’m patient, attentive, and great at reading animal behavior, whether that means energetic playtime, calm companionship, or sticking closely to routines. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritize their comfort and safety. I work full-time from 7am–4pm, but I’m very active and available after work and on weekends. I enjoy incorporating pet care into my daily routine, including evening walks, drop-in visits, and extended care on weekends. I’m dependable, punctual, and make sure each pet gets quality time, attention, and exercise outside of my work hours. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment for all pets in my care. I’m able to crate dogs if needed and always follow the owner’s instructions closely. I keep a clean space, supervise interactions, and prioritize safety, comfort, and routine at all times.
About: I grew up taking care of animals. I currently have one Russian Tortoise, one pug, and two chihuahuas. One is diabetic so I have experience with giving insulin injections and monitoring pet health. I have house sat and pet sat for years. I also worked at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo for one year and worked with animals and conservation. I am currently a student and have plenty of availability. I have class Monday and Tuesday from 3-7 pm, and Thursday from 4-5pm, but can work around it. I live in a an apartment in a safe community, with a gated yard. I have a doggy door for access to the yard. There are tons of walking paths around.

“Sheena took such good care of Mango. She went above and beyond most Rover hosts we have asked to take care of Mango in the past. She sent us so many videos and photos of Mango to us. Our Mango loved her kids and really enjoyed her time with them. In addition, it was a rainy day and Sheena washed and dried Mango’s sweater and also made sure Mango was dry from the rain. “Wow… i don’t even know where to start! Mystique, Richard and their amazing daughter Milan welcomed our dog Cooper with open arms into their home. They were an incredibly kind family and i felt very safe with cooper in their care. They watched Cooper during our wedding weekend and went above and beyond to make sure we had a stress free weekend. they even brought cooper to our wedding ceremony AND rehearsal the night before for us. I would recommend them 100000% to anyone to watch their pups and i know cooper can’t wait for the next time we leave town so he can stay with them again! thank you thank you thank you!!”

Her set up of a double gate and great backyard makes it a wonderful, yet safe, backyard for the dogs to play in. I would definitely recommend her and book with her again.”
About: I’ve been around dogs for most of my life. I grew up with Cody, a large chocolate Lab who was an amazing family dog. I was responsible for feeding him, walking him, and helping with his everyday care. Through taking care of him, I became very comfortable handling and caring for larger dogs. I’ve also helped care for my neighbors’ dogs and have experience with basic pet sitting, including feeding, walking, playtime, and making sure pets are safe and comfortable. I genuinely enjoy being around dogs and will treat every pet I care for like they’re part of the family. I’m a student at CSU Channel Islands and only have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with breaks between classes that allow me to come home throughout the day. My schedule is very flexible, so I have plenty of time to give your pets the attention, walks, and care they need. I also live with two close friends who are very responsible, so someone is almost always home, making our place a great environment for pets who enjoy having people around. I care for every pet like they’re my own and always follow the owner’s routine and instructions. Whether I’m caring for them in my home or theirs, I make sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of walks, playtime, attention, and bathroom breaks. I’m also very respectful of each pet’s personality and comfort level and want them to feel safe, comfortable, and at home while their owner is away.

About: I love playing with dogs, cuddling & making dogs smile. I’ve raised Nala since she was 6 weeks old and now she is 5 years old. I like training , teaching them to sit, lay down, roll over and maybe even trick training, like giving paw, and spin. I have two energized dogs that keep me on my feet, that I own I care for Nala and king, but I also work from home. I will make sure your dog is really cared for, feeding and playing with them, and if they need any medication that needs to be administered.
