About: I grew up taking care of animals. I currently have one Russian Tortoise, one pug, and two chihuahuas. One is diabetic so I have experience with giving insulin injections and monitoring pet health. I have house sat and pet sat for years. I also worked at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo for one year and worked with animals and conservation. I am currently a student and have plenty of availability. I have class Monday and Tuesday from 3-7 pm, and Thursday from 4-5pm, but can work around it. I live in a an apartment in a safe community, with a gated yard. I have a doggy door for access to the yard. There are tons of walking paths around.

About: Hi! I am a pet owner for over 14+ years. Cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, turtles, and fish, I’ve had them. I’m so happy to say that all have lived happy lives with so much care and love from family. Plus tons of my family members are vets so I’ve had the amazing opportunity to meet different animals and learn all about them. About: My name is Julie and my partner, Scotty and I (pictured above) have over 25 years of experience walking, sitting and caring for all animals, as well as luxury homes. We absolutely love all animals and enjoy spending every minute with them! We work with a variety of animals: dogs, cats, chickens, birds, horses, mules, ponies, reptiles (chameleons, lizards, snakes, turtles, tortoises, frogs all kinds), fish, rabbits, rodents (hamsters, guinea pigs, rats, mice) and exotic animals such as ferrets. We care for elderly pets, and have experience providing daily medication/injections. We can help to maintain the routine and love they are used to, so they will not feel alone while you are away. When booking with us, you will get two pet sitters for the price of one. Since one of us works remote, there is always someone to take care of your pets while you are gone. We do accept last minute requests and will make it happen if we can. Our home provides a safe, warm, welcoming environment for pet guests and there is a resident neutered male cattle dog mix, Snacks, as our companion ambassador to enrich any dog-guest's stay. I have volunteered at animal shelters since I was in high school. Family and friends have relied on me since I was very young to care for their pets. I am responsible, reliable, loving, and very caring. We are available for dog walks, house sitting, boarding at our house (we have a yard and live on a giant park/dog park), drop-ins, pet transport, pet errands and vet visits (complete with detailed reports). 🥰🐶🐾 We work from home and have a flexible schedule, which is ideal for petsitting. We're very active with multiple walks and park visits throughout the day. We love to spoil our pet-guests with trips to the beach to dig/play, hikes on nearby trails and plenty of enrichment activities (puzzles, lick mats, brain toys) throughout the day. We live on a huge park/fenced dog park and have plenty of room for dogs to play (indoors and outdoors). Our house is clutter free and has ample room for indoor play complete with enrichment activities/toys! We offer morning/afternoon/evening feedings. The goal is to keep their routine similar to their home routine! We give our dogs plenty of exercise and prefer to keep them uncrated if possible (unless they prefer their crate).

About: I have had dogs my entire life. My step dad was hired with the Ventura County Animal Shelter when we came to Ventura in 1973 and he brought home just about anything that came through the shelter doors. Before coming to Ventura, I was raised in a rural community and had all the farm animals. My family has been involved in animal rescue for many years. I regularly donate items to SPARC, CARL and Ventura County Animal Services. I had Boxers for several years, and my sweet Doxie Gemma passed away Oct 8, 2024. I currently have cats. I am retired so pet sitting/dog walking and drop in visits is a big part of my days and is my "retirement" job. I love it and enjoy every pet I get to interact with whether they stay in my home, or I go for drop in visits. I have a fenced yard and will always keep dogs leashed when we are outside of the yard/home. If the dog likes to go to the dog park, I will always ask permission before taking that activity on.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was very young and worked at a kennel for 2 years caring for dogs of all sizes with many different needs. I am currently doing school from home and I also work from home so I am home pretty much all of the time and I love the extra company. I have a fenced yard and two other dogs with advanced obedience that I can keep separated from other animals as well. (I understand not all of us get along, dogs included, and want what’s best for all of us.) I also can add other services like walks, baths, and hikes when available as additional services. About: I’ve been taking care of exotic animals for about five years now in a zoo or sanctuary setting however within the past three years it has been specific to exotics cats such as tigers and lions. I have a deep passion for animals and find so much joy being able to help them in any way that I can. Not only did I work with exotics during that time but domestics as well such as dogs and cats and even on occasion rabbits. I have a lot of experience giving medications and dealing with difficult animals. I am excited for the opportunity and to help more animals! I’m currently working part time but my schedule is pretty flexible as long as I have enough of a notice, I can make it work anytime during the week! I have two boxers, a chihuahua and two cats at home and treat them as if they are my own kids (because they are) I will treat your babies the same! I believe that just because animals can’t speak for themselves doesn’t mean they don’t have a voice and I believe it is our job to take care of them to the best of our abilities and to be their voice. About: About 3 years ago, I moved to California specifically to live with a close friend who had just become a flight attendant to help take care of her two dogs and two cats while she was away for work. Since she traveled often, I became a big part of their everyday care… feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, keeping them company, and of course giving them lots of love. I even took them to a little trip with me to Joshua tree, which they enjoyed very much! One of her cats also had asthma, so I learned to be extra attentive to her needs and helped with taking her to vet appointments when needed. I’ve also helped other friends with house sitting, dog walking, and caring for their pets while they were away or out of town. I genuinely love animals and know how important it is to have someone you trust taking care of your fur babies. I’ll always make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and get plenty of love and attention while you’re away 🤍🐾 I may be new to Rover, but caring for pets has been a big part of my life for the last few years, and I’d love to care for yours too! I do work full-time in the hotel industry as a front desk supervisor, and do 8-hour shifts. My schedule varies throughout the week, but I’m available before and after work, on my days off, and for drop-ins or walks. For house sitting, I’m happy to stay overnight and care for your fur baby before and after my shift. I’ll always be upfront about my schedule so we can make sure it’s the right fit for your pet! I know every fur baby has their own personality and routine, so I like to learn what makes them feel most comfortable before you leave. Whether that means a specific feeding schedule, their favorite walking route, extra playtime, or just having someone nearby to keep them company, I’m happy to follow their normal routine. I’m also very respectful of your home and will always make sure doors are locked, instructions are followed, and everything is left just as I found it. I’m happy to send pictures and little updates too, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your fur baby is doing well!

About: I started walking a neighbor/friend’s dog as a favor in 2016. She recommended me to her friends then they recommended me to theirs and so on and so on until I had the trust of 15 clients by 2021. I’ve met all kinds of doggy friends; old, young, big, small, aggressive, shy, single or multiple siblings. I’m more than willing to accommodate any special needs your friend may have. I am currently a student studying film so timing will be somewhat selective, but I still have lots of availability and will be as accommodating as possible for you and your pet friends! I cannot host at the moment but I am more than willing to house sit in a location of your choosing! Common courtesy is a must and your place will look just as you left it.

About: Over my lifetime I have had small medium and large dogs. I have also had my share of cats. I am experienced with senior dogs and giving any type of medication if needed. I am retired and I recently lost my 10-year-old French bulldog (Remi). I have found that I now have a lot of time on my hands as he was my main focus. I am available weekdays and weekends. I am available to care for your pets in your home keeping them safe and stress-free. I will give them love and attention and give you regular updates so your time away from them will be as stress-free as possible.

About: I’ve always loved animals and had dogs my entire life. I’ve been pet sitting for friends and family over the years but I never have done Rover. I am excited to start and meet some great pups! I love all dogs and am happy to care of them whatever needs they may have. I definitely make time for play time, walks, and potty breaks. About: I’ve had experience working at a dog daycare which came with lots of responsibilities including dog watching, bathing, cleaning, and feeding- including administering medications. I currently work at an animal shelter where I handle dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, weight, and breeds. Using balanced training methods, I can also offer light training (puppy teething/mouthing, basic cues, some leash manners, resource guarding, engage/disengage with reactive pups, social bridging with shy ones). I’ve also worked with deaf, blind, and tripod doggos! I currently work a full time job 4 days a week with Sunday/ Monday/ Tuesdays off. Not available the rest of the week since I work long hours. Full honesty and transparency is the way to go! Direct communication is best to achieving the best service without any miscommunications.
