About: Hi! I am a pet owner for over 14+ years. Cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, turtles, and fish, I’ve had them. I’m so happy to say that all have lived happy lives with so much care and love from family. Plus tons of my family members are vets so I’ve had the amazing opportunity to meet different animals and learn all about them. This allowed me to understand animals and cater to their needs rather than be confused and let them be. I’ve also taken care of 3 cats, 5 dogs, and 3 kids all at once, so I believe I’m pretty trustworthy and responsible haha. About: Hello, my name is Chantal and I have always had a love for dogs and animals as a whole. As a kid I was raised in a home where we never once went without a dog in the home, so you could say I have a lifetime of experience with dogs. And as a fellow doggie parent I understand that the comfort of dogs always comes first. Though I don’t have career experience with pets, I have done dog sitting in the past for family friends which included a wide variety of breeds and different temperaments. Although I don’t have professional experience with dogs, I hope to give all dogs the same level of love and care that I have since I was a child. I currently work part-time in the evenings, which means I have most of the day to take care of my pets needs, including walks, feeding etc. As a dog walker I would love to offer that time to help take care of someone else’s pets needs for some good exercise and comfort. I currently live in a two bedroom apt with a balcony, but no backyard, so I always make sure to walk my own pets in a timely manner so they can have their potty breaks comfortably. I have access to a vehicle so I would apply this to any dog I visit to walk them, regardless of wether that live in an apartment, or a big house with a backyard.

About: I grew up taking care of animals. I currently have one Russian Tortoise, one pug, and two chihuahuas. One is diabetic so I have experience with giving insulin injections and monitoring pet health. I have house sat and pet sat for years. I also worked at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo for one year and worked with animals and conservation. I am currently a student and have plenty of availability. I have class Monday and Tuesday from 3-7 pm, and Thursday from 4-5pm, but can work around it. I live in a an apartment in a safe community, with a gated yard. I have a doggy door for access to the yard. There are tons of walking paths around.

About: I’ve been taking care of exotic animals for about five years now in a zoo or sanctuary setting however within the past three years it has been specific to exotics cats such as tigers and lions. I have a deep passion for animals and find so much joy being able to help them in any way that I can. Not only did I work with exotics during that time but domestics as well such as dogs and cats and even on occasion rabbits. I have a lot of experience giving medications and dealing with difficult animals. I am excited for the opportunity and to help more animals! I’m currently working part time but my schedule is pretty flexible as long as I have enough of a notice, I can make it work anytime during the week! I have two boxers, a chihuahua and two cats at home and treat them as if they are my own kids (because they are) I will treat your babies the same! I believe that just because animals can’t speak for themselves doesn’t mean they don’t have a voice and I believe it is our job to take care of them to the best of our abilities and to be their voice. I have experience crating, giving medication, and with difficult dogs or cats. I can help in any way for your babies to make sure they feel safe and comfortable!

Treats are a must, as is access to viewing windows (to keep an eye on the outside world when I'm away), cozy spots for sleeping, fans when the weather gets warm and soooo many blankets and beds when it's chilly. Water and food bowls are cleaned daily, and walks (for the dog, at least!) are kept to a consistent morning, afternoon, and evening schedule.

About: A dog owner for 20 years. I’ve done rescue, foster, and hospice care for 10 years. Whether you have a shy rescue who needs time, a young pup not potty trained, or senior dog needing love while you’re away; I can handle it all. Dogs in my care get snuggles, treats, long walks, and dog park fun. I’m active duty military but not deploying at this time. Im not working and available all day until the end of September. Any day/any time I can assist you with your dogs. For walking: I’m available anytime. I will have my baby with me either in a carrier or stroller. For boarding: I have two dogs (1 small, 1 medium) that love to play and a baby boy. My apartment has lots of grass for potty time and a dog park within walking distance. I have a balcony with an outdoor bed if your dog loves to sunbathe. If your puppy is too young/old or not vaccinated to safely walk on public streets, I can set up a potty station on the balcony.

About: I have had dogs my entire life. My step dad was hired with the Ventura County Animal Shelter when we came to Ventura in 1973 and he brought home just about anything that came through the shelter doors. Before coming to Ventura, I was raised in a rural community and had all the farm animals. My family has been involved in animal rescue for many years. I regularly donate items to SPARC, CARL and Ventura County Animal Services. I had Boxers for several years, and my sweet Doxie Gemma passed away Oct 8, 2024. I currently have cats. I am retired so pet sitting/dog walking and drop in visits is a big part of my days and is my "retirement" job. I love it and enjoy every pet I get to interact with whether they stay in my home, or I go for drop in visits. I have a fenced yard and will always keep dogs leashed when we are outside of the yard/home. If the dog likes to go to the dog park, I will always ask permission before taking that activity on.
