About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life. Growing up on a ranch, I helped raise and care for all kinds of animals including rabbits, cats, and dogs, learning hands-on responsibility and compassion from a young age. I bring decades of experience and have a special love for senior pets. Since 2011, I’ve rescued and cared for older dogs, giving them comfort, attention, and love in their final years. I also had a beautiful midnight main coon named Bling up until moving to Austin. I also had a Schnauzer terrier I found at the pound also when I was 10. Mitzi was from the Humane Society. I was volunteering and she never left my side all day I had to take her! Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to check in with, feed, and play with their pets for years. What sets me apart is my patience and ability to bond with even the shyest felines. I understand cat body language and prioritize a stress-free environment. About: I have been loving dogs (and all furry creatures) my whole life. I married an equal dog lover. We spent our honeymoon traveling to Costa Rica's Territio de Zaguates ("Land of the Strays"). We have two small children who are respectful of animals. I worked for an emergency vet hospital and have years of experience volunteering at rescues/pet sitting. I always promise to love your dog as they are one of my pack members. Leaving your pet with someone new can be scary; especially those new to Rover. Please let me know your pet’s regular schedule and I can confirm my availability. I do my best to follow a pet’s normal everyday routine. I have experience with a variety of breeds and understand each dog is different. I follow your dog's lead with what they are comfortable with. Our home is pet - friendly! I do not let dogs off leash unless owner notes otherwise and it is a secure location. I do not leave pets unsupervised with my children or pets. I have experience and knowledge to keep a pet safe at all times.

I’m a part time student & have a part time job on mondays and tuesdays from 10-7 pm. School is 100% remote! Wednesday-Friday are open! I am a cuddle and zoomie enthusiast! Pet care fits great into my schedule—I’m a retired LAPD officer now working part-time from home, so I’ve got the flexibility to give your pets the attention they need, when they need it. My days aren’t rushed, and I actually like planning around walks, feedings, and cuddle breaks. It’s a pretty sweet upgrade from chasing bad guys. Pets in my home are treated like family—just with more treats and fewer chores. While I do not have a fenced yard, all outdoor time is carefully supervised and handled on leash to ensure safety. Inside, there’s plenty of comfortable space for lounging, cuddling, or doing their own thing. My dog Diego (a rescue chihuahua) serves as the welcoming committee and takes his role very seriously. I keep the environment calm, clean, and consistent so your pet feels comfortable and secure from day one.
