About: I’ve taken care of medium-large dogs for the last 5 years. I’ve trained a puppy and feel very comfortable caring for them and know how important it is to get them out for their walks. I have 4 days off a week (varying days) that I’m very willing to spend time walking and visiting dogs. I enjoy runs myself so if the dogs are up for it we could go or just sit on the couch and relax. I can’t care for pets in my home as I only live in a studio, but I have lived in a house with a fenced in yard where dogs would go out. I have lived in an apartment with a puppy and got very used to going out frequently and running around at the dog parks

About: I am hyper-attuned to your dog's needs ensuring your pets sense of trust and well-being is secure. Showing up and being present is my priority! I work primarily from home, and my schedule is flexible from the morning to early evening time, making it easy to schedule service times that work conveniently with your schedule and pet needs. Routines and consistency are important to ensuring a dog's sense of the world and trust because they can anticipate what to expect each day. With my own dogs, I wake up and take them for a jog first thing in every morning. The routine accompanied with the daily exercise makes for very happy, well-behaved and content dogs. I will bring that same perspective to your pet's life. Additionally, I am a long time Rover customer and when I was single and working 9-5, I relied heavily on my dog walker and sitter to show up daily, on time, in a loving, attentive way. For those of you who are away from your pets for long periods, please know that I understand the importance of being that consistent person in their life who shows up on time and meets their needs in your absence. Being a Rover walker and drop-in visitor is my way of giving back and saying thank you for all those who supported my pups for so many years!

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs, and I've had my own three pups for a solid decade now, so caring for animals is just second nature to me. Way back when I was younger, I used to walk neighborhood dogs, which really taught me how to read different personalities and handle all kinds of energy levels. I know how much your dogs mean to you, and I’ll treat them with that exact same love, patience, and attention every single time Weekdays are wide open for me after 4:30 PM, and I'm fully available on weekends. Whether your pup needs a solid long walk to burn off some energy or just some reliable company, I'll fit right into their routine. Having had three dogs of my own for the past ten years, safety and patience come naturally to me. I'm completely used to reading dog body language, keeping them secure, and making sure they feel comfortable and safe every step of the way.

About: Hello, I’m Dani! I am so fortunate to be doing what I love most- caring for animals and helping them thrive with their families. Whether it’s making sure they get the daily exercise they need, a quick potty break, feeding, or check-in while you’re away from home, I am honored to be considered for your pet care needs. I am a former Vet Tech and a lifelong animal lover. I have over 25 years of experience caring for cats and dogs in a professional setting, as well as my own 3 pets. I have volunteered and fostered for many local rescue organizations over the years and enjoy staying involved with animal welfare and rescue. Animal care is my greatest passion and I hope to share that with your special fur babies! Currently I am available for the following: weekday and/or weekends for drop-in visits, feedings, short potty walks or longer walks/hikes, house sitting, and/or in-home daycare and dog boarding. For additional peace of mind, I am certified in pet CPR and first aid. If your dog or cat has special needs or requires a custom care plan, no problem! I am able to administer injections and medications as needed. I will treat your pet with the same loving care and attention to detail that I would give my own. About: About 3 years ago, I moved to California specifically to live with a close friend who had just become a flight attendant to help take care of her two dogs and two cats while she was away for work. Since she traveled often, I became a big part of their everyday care… feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, keeping them company, and of course giving them lots of love. I even took them to a little trip with me to Joshua tree, which they enjoyed very much! One of her cats also had asthma, so I learned to be extra attentive to her needs and helped with taking her to vet appointments when needed. I’ve also helped other friends with house sitting, dog walking, and caring for their pets while they were away or out of town. I genuinely love animals and know how important it is to have someone you trust taking care of your fur babies. I’ll always make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and get plenty of love and attention while you’re away 🤍🐾 I may be new to Rover, but caring for pets has been a big part of my life for the last few years, and I’d love to care for yours too! I do work full-time in the hotel industry as a front desk supervisor, and do 8-hour shifts. My schedule varies throughout the week, but I’m available before and after work, on my days off, and for drop-ins or walks. For house sitting, I’m happy to stay overnight and care for your fur baby before and after my shift. I’ll always be upfront about my schedule so we can make sure it’s the right fit for your pet! I know every fur baby has their own personality and routine, so I like to learn what makes them feel most comfortable before you leave. Whether that means a specific feeding schedule, their favorite walking route, extra playtime, or just having someone nearby to keep them company, I’m happy to follow their normal routine. I’m also very respectful of your home and will always make sure doors are locked, instructions are followed, and everything is left just as I found it. I’m happy to send pictures and little updates too, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your fur baby is doing well!

About: I have had dogs my whole life, but truly love all pets! I started pet sitting when I was about 12 for my neighbor. Since moving from home, I have had various dog sitting and dog walking jobs. I love any type or size of pet, and would absolutely love to care for yours! I am unavailable Monday through Thursday form 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm. Any time outside of that block, I am happy to help! From my childhood home, my dogs have always have free-reign of the house and backyard. They tend to chose the backyard more when it's not too hot. In my current place of residence, I cannot board pets of any kind.

I work from home most weekdays which makes me free to pop over or walk your dog in the middle of the day. I also have various weekends available. I am kind and caring with dogs and cats. About: Lifelong animal lover based in Ventura. I’ve had small dogs my entire life (two currently!) and have cared for three long-lived cats over the years. I’m reliable, calm, and attentive with both energetic and more independent pets. Comfortable with senior pets, medications, and detailed care routines. Available for walks and drop‑ins. Serving Downtown, Midtown, and beach areas. I'm semi-retired and have a very flexible schedule. I'm able to do multiple visits a day and I am often available last-minute. Time of day/evening/night also flexible. At home, my two rescue pups, Lucy and Ethel, have pretty free run. They usually sleep on my bed and are never far away when I’m relaxing on the sofa. When caring for clients’ pets, I aim to provide the same consistency and comfort they’re used to, following your routines and preferences as closely as possible.

About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. I grew up wanting to be a veterinarian but ended up being a nurse because I thought I would be too sad with sick animals. It wasn’t until I took care of my elderly dog Lucky that I realized I did have it in me to give sick animals that extra love and patience. I have experience with dogs, chickens, bunnies, horses, cows, and cats. I like cats but I’m allergic, sorry! Odds are if there’s a dog at a party I’m hanging out with the dog from the minute I get there up until it’s time to go. I love going for walks around different parts of the city to clear my mind from a stressful work week. Let me know if I can help care for your pup! I work 12 hour shifts 3 days a week and I’m usually free 4 days a week unless I pick up extra! The days that I work I start as early as 10am as late as 3pm so I can stop by before work if need be. Pets are family. I would treat your pup just as it was my own and give it the love, care, and attention they need. I know finding pet care can be difficult, but you also want someone trustworthy. I’ve been background checked to get my nursing license and have to behave very well to keep it. I would take this opportunity just as serious.

About: I have a deep experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments—from energetic puppies to sweet senior pups needing a gentler pace. I’m especially patient, detail-oriented, and treat every dog like they’re my own. I have a rescue chihuahua named Diego, and over the years I’ve regularly dog-sat for friends and family, handling medications, special diets, and quirky personalities with ease. I also never underestimate the power of a good belly rub or a well-timed treat. Pet care fits great into my schedule—I’m a retired LAPD officer now working part-time from home, so I’ve got the flexibility to give your pets the attention they need, when they need it. My days aren’t rushed, and I actually like planning around walks, feedings, and cuddle breaks. It’s a pretty sweet upgrade from chasing bad guys. Pets in my home are treated like family—just with more treats and fewer chores. While I do not have a fenced yard, all outdoor time is carefully supervised and handled on leash to ensure safety. Inside, there’s plenty of comfortable space for lounging, cuddling, or doing their own thing. My dog Diego (a rescue chihuahua) serves as the welcoming committee and takes his role very seriously. I keep the environment calm, clean, and consistent so your pet feels comfortable and secure from day one.
