“Catherine took care of my senior dog Lovie this weekend while I was out of town for a funeral. She immediately made me feel comfortable leaving my little girl with her during this emotional time. She sent me pictures while I was gone, of my doggie on a walk and also of her sleeping peacefully. I would absolutely use her services again and will the next time I need it. I highly recommend her.”

“Todd and Rona are such nice people and seem to really enjoy spending time with the dogs they watch. They watched our dog for 5 nights and we never worried about how she was being treated while there. She did much better with Todd and Rona than she ever did at a commercial boarding facility. We received pictures and updates throughout our time away and will definitely have her stay again when needed.”

“We had a wonderful experience and would give more than 5 stars if we could! Our dog was so comfortable and happy during her stay, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Communication was excellent throughout our trip - we received regular updates and felt confident that our dog was well cared for. It’s clear they genuinely love animals and provide a safe, welcoming environment. We would happily book with them again and highly recommend to other pet parents!”

She even made an awesome goodie bag with little pictures of his stay. They gave him organic home made trays by Claudia and he absolutely loves them. Thank you so much for watching our fur baby and if we need a sitter again, you will be the first amazing sitter that will come to mind. I highly recommend Claudia to care for your dog!! 10/10!!”

About: Cats have always been a special part of my life. I’ve cared for two of my own cats for 20 years, so I understand the dedication and love required for long-term feline care. From energetic kittens to seniors needing extra TLC, I adjust care to each cat’s personality. I’m experienced with medications, maintaining routines, and creating calm, low-stress environments. I also know all the tricks to get a cat’s attention—like opening a book or laptop, which magically makes them appear right on your keyboard! Whether your cat enjoys active play or quiet lap snuggles, I ensure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away.

About: Lifelong animal lover based in Ventura. I’ve had small dogs my entire life (two currently!) and have cared for three long-lived cats over the years. I’m reliable, calm, and attentive with both energetic and more independent cats. Comfortable with senior cats, medications, and detailed care routines. Available for drop-ins and extended vacation care (non-overnight). Serving Downtown, Midtown, and beach areas.
About: I am hyper-attuned to your dog's needs ensuring your pets sense of trust and well-being is secure. Showing up and being present is my priority! I work primarily from home, and my schedule is flexible from the morning to early evening time, making it easy to schedule service times that work conveniently with your schedule and pet needs. Routines and consistency are important to ensuring a dog's sense of the world and trust because they can anticipate what to expect each day. With my own dogs, I wake up and take them for a jog first thing in every morning. The routine accompanied with the daily exercise makes for very happy, well-behaved and content dogs. I will bring that same perspective to your pet's life. Additionally, I am a long time Rover customer and when I was single and working 9-5, I relied heavily on my dog walker and sitter to show up daily, on time, in a loving, attentive way. For those of you who are away from your pets for long periods, please know that I understand the importance of being that consistent person in their life who shows up on time and meets their needs in your absence. Being a Rover walker and drop-in visitor is my way of giving back and saying thank you for all those who supported my pups for so many years!

“We had an absolutely incredible experience with Sage, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. This was our first time using Rover, and we were honestly a bit nervous going in. Our cat, Lily, is very old and can be a little grouchy and skittish around new people, which added to our concern. From the very beginning, Sage put all of those worries at ease. To our amazement, Lily warmed up to her very quickly, something we’ve rarely seen. Her professionalism and communication were outstanding. She kept us consistently updated (daily photos and FaceTime on request), which made being away so much easier, and it was clear in every message how much she genuinely cared. Sage has an intuitive understanding of cats that’s hard to put into words… she truly is a cat whisperer. On top of that, Sage took wonderful care of our home while housesitting for over a week. We didn’t know what to expect having someone stay in our house for that long, but she was incredibly respectful and left everything in perfect condition. It felt like our home was in thoughtful, capable hands the entire time. Sage didn’t just meet our expectations, she blew them away. We would trust her again without hesitation.”

“Perla is amazing. She didn't miss a beat when I gave her the wrong house key. My cats warmed up to her right away. Her demeanor was so calm and lovely. I will certainly be contacting her in the future.”

“Ashley was AMAZING with our cat Gigi. She was always on time, energetic and playful, and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable being away from her. I got so many adorable pictures and videos of my cat having a blast. She helped us and our little girl feel so comfortable being apart. Definitely book her!!”

About: When I was young, I spent time in my grandfather’s farm playing with dogs, cows, pigs, horses, and chickens. We take care of dogs in my community, and we also look after a bunny. I am currently studying a Health Coach Program in Holistic Nutrition virtually so, I am flexible on time and days. I love walking and being active. I love going on walks, play with the ball, and keep them active depends on their needs. I can feed them and give medicines if they need.
“Kelsey did a great job looking after my Bobcat while I was out of town for several weeks. She kept me informed with alot of photos and updates. I will definitely hire her again next time I leave town! Thanks again Kelsey!”

“Jessica did drop in visits with our sweet cat, Ralph for a week while we were out of town. Ralph is very much of a dog like kind of cat that gets lonely and needy for love and cuddles so it's always so hard leaving him. We could not ask for a better person to spend time with our little buddy! Jessica is such a sweet and kind person, I knew right away I had found a perfect match for us. This is going to sounds crazy, but our cat can pick up on "high strung" or "anxious" types of personalities so he isn't always as comfortable with those kinds of people.. we know from certain family members interacting with him lol! But Jessica is honestly such a sweet soul and mellow personality that I knew Ralph would instantly connect and feel comfortable with her & he totally did!! We will absolutely be asking Jessica to sit with him from now on whenever we need someone! She sent several pictures and gave updates, couldn't ask for anything better. It gave us such peace of mind knowing Ralph had someone loving on him while we were gone. We could not thank you enough, Jessica!”

“Jeniffer was great! Left us very detailed reviews, which was very reassuring since our power had gone out during our vacation. Highly recommend her and will be using her in the future!”

About: I love cats and their energy! I’ve had pet cats in the past that I rescued from shelters and even aided in adoption situations with neighborhood strays. I basically melt into a puddle anytime I’m around a cat.

“Lilly was absolutely adorable with my cat. I needed someone to keep my kitty company for the weekend after a surprised trip came up. Lilly was communicative about her arrival, incredibly attentive to my cat, fed/checked water, and played so much! My cat was immediately drawn to Lilly and they hit it off perfectly despite not meeting and introducing Lilly to my cat beforehand. 10000% will request in the future now that I know Lilly is so perfect for my cat. Thank you !!”

“Kay did a great job taking care of Fletcher! He was all worn out from playing and running around the yard. She sent me plenty of pictures and updates. Would not hesitate to book with her again.”

“My two dogs loved Ashley! They have extreme separation anxiety being away from me, but they were so comfortable with Ashley and loved being with her! She took amazing care of them and sent updates throughout their stay! I will use her again! :)”

“Our dog had a great time at Jessica's place and played with their dog. We received photos and our dog seemed well taken care of and comfortable there, enjoying her time spent at the place. Jessica asked questions beforehand and made our dog's first Rover booking a positive experience. Would recommend!”

“Ellen was great. She took great care of our pup and was very easy going. She even had some advice for activities in town that were really great. We will definitely see her again next time we are in town.”

About: I’ve had dogs all my life. I learned responsibility by having dogs all my life. The attachment and care I have for animals is tremendous. My heart is full because of them and it breaks when they’re hurting or sad. I take a lot of pride in the way I care for my own animals. I always put their needs first. I even took a remote job so I can spend more time with them. When my dog got sick I was constantly monitoring, medication handling, and I never put her health to the side. I act quickly. I also am very careful with who the dogs I take care of come in contact with. I can read dogs body language and will not force them to be in a situation they don’t like. Some dogs are friendly and some like their space. It is important for me to create space. It doesn’t matter if a dog is small and won’t hurt a fly, they can agitate a dog that can hurt them. I have even saved a yorkie from being attacked by a dog. This wasn’t under my care but I knew what to do and stepped in. I currently work remote. This means I can take out the pups for play and for a walk. I live right down the street from a park. And prioritize taking the pups out 2-3 times a day. Making sure they’re out for more than an hour. I have a small back yard and 3 friendly dogs. One old Shih Tzu, a heeler, and a yorkie. They love to play but love to protect their home so they will always be loud when someone is at the door.. I always treat the pups the same. I know how worried I am leaving my heeler behind so I know to take good care of new pups because I know they’re missing their parents too! As for someone else’s home. I do the same! Obviously respect the home but work in a schedule to accommodate what I need to get done but also create play, walk, or enrichment play.
About: Friends and neighbors have relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets while they are away from home. I find joy in caring for animals. Working hybrid Monday through Friday gives me flexibility to adjust my schedule when needed, and I’m always happy to spend my weekends caring for furry friends. With proper coordination, I can also host pets overnight giving them a comfortable, safe, and loving environment while you’re away. I pride myself on being professional, kind, and inviting so that both you and your dog feel completely at ease. I have a cozy pet spa in my apartment complex where I can pamper your pet with baths and playtime. I also love taking daily walks, hikes, and runs to keep pets active and happy. I believe every pet needs daily stimulation whether that’s exploring new scents on a walk, enjoying a good run, or simply relaxing in a calm space. While you’re at work or away, I’m here to provide your pet with comfort, companionship, and the reassurance of not being alone.

Our pup Momo is now 4 years old, friendly, playful, and loves having new companions around. We have years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and we truly treat every pet like part of the family. I work remotely most of the week (in-office just 2 days), so your pet will have plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. My husband and I share pet care responsibilities, which means flexible availability and consistent care every day of the week. We enjoy getting outside—whether it’s neighborhood walks, beach time, or weekend hikes—and we’re happy to include your dog in those adventures if it fits their routine and energy level. At home, we offer a safe, calm environment with lots of love, playtime, and structure. For care in your home, we’re attentive to your pet’s established routine and preferences, and can provide reliable visits throughout the day and week. Pet care is a natural part of our daily routine. “We were very happy with Hersh and his care for our small dog Sophie. Sophie was calm and relaxed when we picker her up unlike a previous stay at a kennel for small dogs. Hersh sent us a picture of Sophie relaxing on the couch and I could tell she was enjoying herself and was content. Good job. We would definitely use Hersh again if we are traveling in the area.”

“Sara saved our trip! We were camping in the area and planned a day out at the Channel Islands NP (not dog-friendly). Our original doggy sitter canceled on us two days before and we scrambled to find someone last minute. It was a blessing in disguise. Sara is the absolute sweetest! Communication was excellent. She updated us throughout the day with photos and kept our girl busy with playtime, a walk, and a hike. She was able to administer medication too. I can’t say enough good things! Thank you, Sara!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all kinds since for the past 4 years. I stay over night, go on walks, feed, bathe, and have dealt with disabled dogs before. I even have experience with cats whom have needed to be feed and the litter box needed cleaning. My neighbors, family, friends, and even people who I’ve been recommended to have put their trust in me with their pets. The longest time I’ve pet sat was for two weeks and it was with two dogs that needed to take medication 2 times a day. I have even let sat for my neighbor who’s elderly Labrador dog’s two back legs don’t function correctly. I am prepared for anything and everything :) I am a full time student at the University of Southern California Monday-Thursday, but I have times where I don’t have classes. Just message me and majority of the time I will be free! Friday-Sunday I don’t have school and I am usually free the entire day. At home I have a 6 year old male Golden Retriever who needs to be walked and fed multiple times throughout the day. I love to spend time with my dog whether it’s lounging around or going on hikes/to the beach with him. At clients house, I usually tend to check in with the dogs throughout my day, stay overnight at the house, or even board them at my house. I make sure that they’re fed, let out to go potty, and even give them the love/attention they need.
“I cannot thoroughly explain how grateful I am that Lexie agreed to watch my boy for me; we had met with another sitter months in advance who agreed to our pick up and drop off times at the meet and greet, but decided to cancel on me a few hours before! Beyond flustered and upset I was panicking, but Lexie came to the rescue but not only that, she provided Oliver a safe place to interact with other dogs. 🥹🧡 She provided updates with pictures to let me know my baby was safe and being watched. if you’re looking for a sitter who is reliable and will love your dog like their own, I highly recommend Lexie. I will be using her again in the future.”

“Kirsten was awesome! Both our dogs came home happy and got along well with her pup. She sent tons of photos during their stay and communicated well throughout. Will definitely be booking with Kirsten again.”

“Words cannot express how wonderful Richard and Mystique are and the loving care they provide for our high energy puppy. They treat him like family, and he gives them hugs and kisses during daycare drop off. They also take the time to give our puppy leash training on walks. Absolutely recommend Richard and Mystique.”

“Kelsey is my #1 go-to dog sitter. My clingy heeler is always so excited to visit her. He can smell her neighborhood from out of the window and he starts barking on our way down the street to her house. She is understanding, flexible, kind, and she genuinely loves dogs. She also understands heelers and herding breeds, which is a huge plus in my book. 100000% recommend her. I'm a paranoid dog owner and I'm very selective about all of the choices I make for him. I'm always at ease knowing he is with her.”

Just bring your pets supplies and your pet and I can take care of the rest so you can relax while your away!
“Cheryl was a sensitive, caring dog sitter for our very anxious Bichon named Layla, who has suffered from separation anxiety when we go away. This time with Cheryl taking care of her for 12 hours on thanksgiving, Layla was relaxed and happy while we were gone. Cheryl sent photos of Layla relaxing peacefully in her arms. After we took her home, Layla didn't act up at all. She quietly settled back into her normal routine and slept through the night without any fussing! Great job, Cheryl! Also we had to make a change in when we planned to leave and Cheryl didn't mind accommodating that last-minute change. We plan to use Cheryl again when we need a pet sitter. I recently recommended her to my friend who needed a dog sitter for her doggie.”

“Our boy immediately took to Gaia! She met him during our first week with him and she has been nothing but sweet and great with him. Bernie loves when she stops by for his daily afternoon walk. Since both my partner and I work, it is such a relief to know that our dog is in good hands when he needs some afternoon relief. Couldn’t recommend Gaia enough!!”

“Ari is a gem. Great personality, grounded, responsible and kind. Dogs have a sixth sense. When my Sofi ran into the house to greet me after her walk to say I’m back she immediately returned to Ari for some rubs. I knew then I was totally comfortable giving my sweet girl’s care to Ari. Three walks done and many more planned. Thank you, Ari, for making Sofi’s life better. She loves her walks.”

I am a part time employee at In-n-Out. I usually never work long shifts so in the days i’ll go to the beach for long walks or just find ways to enjoy the sun and the outside. I have a fenced front and back yard with grass in the front as well as a white lab to keep your babies entertained and happy. I have an energetic and friendly personality no matter the house i’m in.
“Maya was fantastic!! She was excellent to work with, handling our dog with ease and experience, also very communicative, and our dog was very relaxed and trusting with her. We will be using her definitely as our dog walker, and I recommend you check her out as well, and you will not be disappointed! Happy holidays to all.”

“Sheena was outstanding! Very communicative and took great care of our dog. Loved all of the photos she sent along the way. We felt very comfortable with her and our dog was happy when we arrived. If we need a sitter again, I will definitely see if she is available.”

“Cooper and Nora and family took amazing care of our dog when we were gone. We are so grateful to have found them to care for Laika! She had the best time and they sent us a lot of very cute pics. highly highly recommend having your pet stay with them!”

“Chris was awesome with our dog and was flexible with a booking on short notice! We will definitely use him again to watch our dog when we travel! He also provided photos and frequent updates, thank you!”

“I cannot say enough good things about Sara! She took the BEST care of our pup Rascal, showering him with endless love, attention, and playing! She sent detailed and thoughtful updates periodically which I really appreciated and enjoyed. Every update came with photos which was not just adorable but gave me so much peace of mind to see that Rascal was not only safe and healthy, but sooo happy. Rascal can’t wait to go back! Thank you Sara!!!”

“Wow, words can not even express how pleased we were with Claudias care and attention to details about making our pup fee welcome and part of the pack! 10/10!!”

“Bethany was a lifesaver! We needed last-minute care, and she responded right away and met with us quickly to make it happen. Rezzi instantly got along with her sweet pup, Momo, and I received daily photo updates that kept me at ease. Bethany works from home, has a small backyard for playtime, and made sure Rezzi got her daily walks. Rezzi came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I would definitely book with Bethany again!”

“My Teddy Bear enjoyed his stay at Amber's house! He had a ball running around in her big, fenced in backyard and playing with her two girls! Teddy also enjoyed a nature walk! Amber's home is comfortable and she provided a very nice stay for my pup. She even gave me fresh eggs from her chickens! I highly recommend Amber and would not hesitate to use her again!”

About: I'm a gigantic dog lover. I'm active and love a good long walk every morning and night - and a pooch pup to go with me. I'm super responsible and attentive to all dogs needs (is it too hot outside? are they thirsty?) I've personally owned a reactive dog for over 14 years and learned the needs of a senior dog to make the comfortable. I'm patient and loving. No kids - prefer dogs! I'm an early riser and love to start the day with a good brisk walk. I love walking and will go for a good hour if thats what your dog likes (active breeds welcome). My home is calm and mellow and so after a morning walk it's a relax coffee and breakfast with pup hanging out in our back garden. My office opens our back deck and so pup is free to come in and out all day long. Later afternoon walks follow a work day, I like to go to different spots to keep it interesting. Your pup will have a companion all day. I have a fully fenced yard and would hang with your dog all day! Love an office companion and will tow their dog bed to whatever room in the house I am in!
“Amanda and her family were great! Archie had 2 doodles and 3 kids to play with. Amanda was very responsive when we texted and sent cute pics of Archie enjoying his time with her family. He is pretty attached to us and can be nervous so we really appreciated the updates on how he was adjusting. Next time we go out of town we will definitely book with Amanda again!”

“Exceptional experience! Feel extremely blessed to have found Tiantian. My doodle had the time of his life! Tiantian kept me updated daily with messages, pictures, and videos....which was a great comfort to me. She was very understanding and gladly gave Reggie his antibiotic medication to make sure there was no interruption in the treatment for a paw wound he was healing from. Reggie had a blast with her dog and got lots of play time. Happy fur baby, happy Mom 😊 5 stars not enough ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Would unquestionably want Tiantian to watch Reggie on my next trip.”

“Cindi loves Jessica and her husband and her brother and their pets. I was so pleased with all they did for Cindi. In fact, Cindi is a little down now that she is back home as she misses her new friends. Jessica kept in touch by text everyday so our two week trip to the Netherlands was free from worry. I would highly recommend Jessica as a pet sitter. She is always smiling and a wonderful person. Julie”

“Deandra did a great job with our doggo. Her dog was great with ours and she was intentional with how they greeted one another. Our dog came back home TIRED! Would def recommend and will for sure use again in the future.”

“Alexandrea was great, she was so helpful and reassuring to me and provided a safe and comfy stay for my kitty while I was gone for the week :-) will definitely rebook if I’m ever on vacation again!”
