About: i have four cats, i bottle fed my rescue cat when he was a kitten back to health, i have experience with sick kittens and cats as well, i helped my sibling nurse their kittens with panleukopenia which is almost always fatal but they both survived. i know how to care for cats with special needs for example my Persian cat needs nose cleanings everyday.

About: I’ve always had a soft spot for cats and understand that every cat has their own personality and comfort level. I currently have a cat of my own, so I’m very familiar with feeding, litter box care, playtime, grooming, and of course giving them plenty of love and attention. I also moved to California to help a close friend care for her pets, including her two cats, while she became a flight attendant. Not only have I had pets my whole life and worked for numerous families and friends caring for their pets, but I have professional experience caring for all types of animals. We go on outings to nearby dog-friendly parks (Camino Real and Arroyo Verde are the favorites) and absolutely love to go hiking in our beautiful mountains, so you can be confident that your dog will get some quality outdoors time, whether they need a long walk or a good game of fetch! I am more than happy to take energetic pooches to off-leash parks if the owner and I both feel comfortable with the dog's recall and safety. Between outings, your dog will have the house and yard available as well as lots of attention from our family which includes myself, my husband, our 2 young kids, and our playful 30 lb dog, Sombra. There is plenty of room to run around! We have a backyard that is fully fenced as well as an open space of the living room with a box full of dog toys that always ends up being the puppy play area :) I guarantee your dog will love their time staying in a house with a yard and the beach and park close by. I will treat your pup like my own with lots of love and follow any specific guidelines you have for your pet regarding diet, leashes, exercise needs, training, preferred sleeping arrangements, allowed on furniture, etc. I will also send updates and photos during your dog’s stay. About: About 3 years ago, I moved to California specifically to live with a close friend who had just become a flight attendant to help take care of her two dogs and two cats while she was away for work. Since she traveled often, I became a big part of their everyday care… feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, keeping them company, and of course giving them lots of love. I even took them to a little trip with me to Joshua tree, which they enjoyed very much! For house sitting, I’m happy to stay overnight and care for your fur baby before and after my shift. I’ll always be upfront about my schedule so we can make sure it’s the right fit for your pet! I know every fur baby has their own personality and routine, so I like to learn what makes them feel most comfortable before you leave. Whether that means a specific feeding schedule, their favorite walking route, extra playtime, or just having someone nearby to keep them company, I’m happy to follow their normal routine. I’m also very respectful of your home and will always make sure doors are locked, instructions are followed, and everything is left just as I found it. I’m happy to send pictures and little updates too, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your fur baby is doing well!

About: I have owned cats and dogs since I was a child. Currently a cat mom to 2 boys- Tony & Ozzy! Experience with cats, puppies, elderly dogs & large dogs. About: I have had dogs my whole life, but truly love all pets! I started pet sitting when I was about 12 for my neighbor. Since moving from home, I have had various dog sitting and dog walking jobs. From my childhood home, my dogs have always have free-reign of the house and backyard. They tend to chose the backyard more when it's not too hot. About: I’ve volunteered with animals since I was 10, starting with rabbits at the Ventura County Animal Shelter. Since then I have gone on to own rabbits and a variety of other pets including dogs. About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. I grew up wanting to be a veterinarian but ended up being a nurse because I thought I would be too sad with sick animals. It wasn’t until I took care of my elderly dog Lucky that I realized I did have it in me to give sick animals that extra love and patience. I have experience with dogs, chickens, bunnies, horses, cows, and cats. I like cats but I’m allergic, sorry! Odds are if there’s a dog at a party I’m hanging out with the dog from the minute I get there up until it’s time to go. I work 12 hour shifts 3 days a week and I’m usually free 4 days a week unless I pick up extra! The days that I work I start as early as 10am as late as 3pm so I can stop by before work if need be. Pets are family. I would treat your pup just as it was my own and give it the love, care, and attention they need. I know finding pet care can be difficult, but you also want someone trustworthy. I’ve been background checked to get my nursing license and have to behave very well to keep it. I would take this opportunity just as serious.

“We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Julie and Scott! I highly recommend them, and we're so grateful to have found them. We reached out for a last-minute dog sitter over the holidays for our 8-year-old small terrier mix, Zazu. Zazu can be a little bossy and defensive with other dogs, which we gave them a heads up about since they have a big dog at home. Julie and Scott did an AMAZING job integrating Zazu into their home life and making her feel comfortable with them and their sweet dog, Snacks. They sent lots of wonderful photos, videos, and updates - including videos of Zazu playing happily with Snacks! Julie and Scott are both so friendly and warm, it's no surprise that Zazu felt comfortable with them immediately. They took her on many walks and let her cuddle with them in bed to sleep at night. My wife and I joked that Zazu wasn't going to want to come home at the end of the stay. She was very understanding and gladly gave Reggie his antibiotic medication to make sure there was no interruption in the treatment for a paw wound he was healing from.
