About: We are a pet-centered family. Fur babies have been at the heart of our home for over 20 years. We've rescued dogs and cats across various stages of life, some with special needs, and loved them well into their senior years. We provide personalized care, tailored to the specific needs of your pet. Whether it's adhering to the dietary requirements of their meals, administering medication, or modifying walks and play to accommodate any physical limitations or developmental needs. We’re conveniently located near 101, making for an easy drop off and pickup. Animals of all types tend to gravitate to me. I'm patient and playful. If they just need a calm presence to cuddle with or a buddy to play fetch and get their zoomies out, I adapt to the needs of your pet. Our home is filled to the brim with a love for pets and their care. My wife leads a community for pet parents and my daughter is a future vet who makes every animal she meets her best friend and desires to rescue as many she can. I'm a retired engineer and my wife works from home. Pets are family and our schedules are adjusted accordingly to ensure they are not alone. I love nature and giving pets the opportunity to relax and play where they feel the most comfortable. We can walk the park grounds right outside our door, relax on the deck, or snuggle on the couch. We can also hop in the Jeep and go exploring if they prefer. Every pet is different and my goal is to always meet them right where they are.
About: "I bring a professional, detail-oriented approach to pet care, backed by a commitment to reliability and safety. I don't just 'watch' your pet—I curate their day. Whether it's a high-energy park adventure or a consistent, disciplined walking routine, I prioritize your pet's specific temperament and needs. I treat every booking as a professional contract: you can count on punctuality, clear communication, and photo updates that give you complete peace of mind. Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities, and I approach every interaction with the professionalism you expect from a dedicated care expert." Growing up in Texas we had a family Ranch with all of the fun farm animals. I have been around several breeds of cats since I was 10. I also had a beautiful midnight main coon named Bling up until moving to Austin. I also had a Schnauzer terrier I found at the pound also when I was 10. Mitzi was from the Humane Society. I was volunteering and she never left my side all day I had to take her! Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to check in with, feed, and play with their pets for years. What sets me apart is my patience and ability to bond with even the shyest felines. I understand cat body language and prioritize a stress-free environment. Whether it's high-energy play with a kitten or gentle companionship for a senior cat, I am observant, detail-oriented, and dedicated to making sure your furr baby feels safe and loved while you are away." I prioritize a secure and attentive environment for every dog I care for. While I don't have a yard at my home, I am an extremely active person and live near several wonderful local dog parks and scenic trails. I love taking my visitors on frequent outdoor adventures and long walks to ensure they get plenty of exercise and fresh air. My home is a clean, organized, and stress-free space where your pet will be treated like family and given my full, undivided attention.
“Sandra is a wonderful care giver for my furry buddy!! Mr. Bubs was loved, spoiled, and treated like he is family. Sandra sent me pics while I was on my trip, and it was obvious he was having a great time! I highly recommend Sandra, and she's top of my list for next time I need to have my puppies taken care of while I'm out of town!”

About: I have over a decade of experience handling dogs of all shapes, sizes and needs. Specializing in active pullers, rescues, and reactive dogs. I am comfortable and proficient with a variety of training equipment to fit your dogs needs and your specific training protocols. By scanning the environment for triggers and monitoring your dog's body language I'm able to ensure a safe calm experience. Every dog deserves a chance to get the mental and physical stimulation they need to thrive. Dividing my time between dog training and volunteering at a local animal shelter let's me set my own schedule. Looking for extra dogs to walk to make up for the miles I can no longer put in with my senior Malinois. I have a securely fenced private yard for your dogs to play and multiple dog crates to provide each dog a secure place to rest. Leon my 10 yr old Malinois provides a calmly reassuring energy that helps guest dogs settle in.
“Cheryl is absolutely wonderful! She took the best care of our dog Dakota while we were out of town for 5 days. She sent many updates, photos, and videos during Dakota’s stay that put us at ease while we were on our trip. We are so glad to have found such a caring, sweet, and loving sitter for our dog. We will definitely rebook with Cheryl the next time we’re out of town!”

“Really appreciate Cooper & Nora! They kept us updated and were honest about how our girl was doing. Very nice people that have created a great environment for our dog.”

About: I'm a gigantic dog lover. I'm active and love a good long walk every morning and night - and a pooch pup to go with me. I'm super responsible and attentive to all dogs needs (is it too hot outside? are they thirsty?) I've personally owned a reactive dog for over 14 years and learned the needs of a senior dog to make the comfortable. I'm patient and loving. No kids - prefer dogs! I'm an early riser and love to start the day with a good brisk walk. I love walking and will go for a good hour if thats what your dog likes (active breeds welcome). My home is calm and mellow and so after a morning walk it's a relax coffee and breakfast with pup hanging out in our back garden. My office opens our back deck and so pup is free to come in and out all day long. Later afternoon walks follow a work day, I like to go to different spots to keep it interesting. Your pup will have a companion all day. I have a fully fenced yard and would hang with your dog all day! Love an office companion and will tow their dog bed to whatever room in the house I am in!

“Claudia took great loving care of our dog Luna for the weekend. She sent me lots of photos and updates, which really set my mind at ease on Luna's first "sleep-away" from home. Claudia was very understanding in dealing with a year-old pup. I felt very comfortable leaving her in Claudia's safe, dog-friendly home. I will definitely take Luna to Claudia again!”

“Absolutely the best! My dog loves it there, has a playmate to pass the time. Stephanie and Jennifer are the best, the photo and video updates are really great. They have watched my dog several times and I have been 100% happy each time! Really great to just relax knowing your dog is in good hands. *I'm hesitant writing this, I don't want them booked up when I need them :)”

“We always know Sage is in the best of hands with Jess and her family! She is our number 1 favorite dog sitter. What I really appreciate is the varied photos and updates we get from Jess that show us what they are up to (walks, naps, playtime etc). Thank you again!”

Ventura dog parents share their Rover experiences
Sarah was the best and sweetest dog sitter ever! She was super responsive, answered all of our questions up front, and even asked her own questions as well to make sure it would be a good fit. Our rescue pup is sometimes a bit timid so we weren’t sure how she would do, especially the first time we ever left her with a sitter. Sarah was so sweet and gentle that our lil Murciélaga warmed up and made friends with Sarah in a single day! Murci rarely eats when we travel, but she felt so comfy with Sarah that she ate her full meal, and even the eggs that Sarah cooked up special just for her! Sarah sent pics throughout the day of our pup having a great time, on a walk and chilling on the couch in Sarah’s cozy home. We’d highly recommend Sarah to care for any fur babies, especially rescues, and we look forward to booking again soon!
