“My Teddy Bear enjoyed his stay at Amber's house! He had a ball running around in her big, fenced in backyard and playing with her two girls! Teddy also enjoyed a nature walk! Amber's home is comfortable and she provided a very nice stay for my pup. She even gave me fresh eggs from her chickens! I highly recommend Amber and would not hesitate to use her again!”

“Misty and her entire family took amazing care of our dogs for a long vacation out of the country. Leaving my dogs for that long was hard but Misty sent us updates and photos every day - which made our vacation stress-free. We are soooo grateful to have found Misty and we will definitely ask her to care for our dogs again if she will have us!! ☺️”

“Really appreciate Cooper & Nora! They kept us updated and were honest about how our girl was doing. Very nice people that have created a great environment for our dog.”

“Most of Pat's owner cares about how their pet is doing during their pet boarding, and Mark and Yulia were very good communicators, sending us photos almost every day during our dog Dezal 10-day stay with them. Dezal is a 106-pound German Shepherd, a high-energy dog that requires physical activities. It's very difficult to find people who give a lot of love and activities that dogs like ours need. Kids seemed to enjoy our dog, which made us very happy. We highly recommend Mark and Yulia for your loving pets care!! We will contact them again!!!”

“We had a wonderful experience booking with Kalia. She was always quick to respond to booking requests, messages, and was very understanding when we had to cancel a different booking due to a change in plans. She sent regular updates and pictures of our boy and I could tell he was having a great visit with her and her two goldens. She put our mind at ease as this was our first time booking through Rover. We had used boarding facilities in the past and our boy would come back overstimulated and often with tummy issues, but it was not the case when he stayed with Kalia. We will definitely book with her again next time!”

“Shannon was great and took really great care of Stormy! She gave us daily updates with a pick of our happy pup. Stormy got to go on walks everyday and even got to accompany Shannon on a couple outings! She has a great time! Thank you, Shannon!!!”

“Kay took extra good care of our 5-month old puppy this week! She sent us daily updates with beautiful photos to reassure us that she was enjoying her time. Thank you so much, Kay! ❤️”

“I cannot say enough good things about Sara! She took the BEST care of our pup Rascal, showering him with endless love, attention, and playing! She sent detailed and thoughtful updates periodically which I really appreciated and enjoyed. Every update came with photos which was not just adorable but gave me so much peace of mind to see that Rascal was not only safe and healthy, but sooo happy. Rascal can’t wait to go back! Thank you Sara!!!”

About: I treat your pup as I would want mine treated. That is the best way I can describe how I want your dog to be treated! And, how I plan to treat your dog! I am a dog lover for sure, I have two golden retrievers 4 years old and 6 months old Hudson and Hope. I had a golden retriever before Hudson, and Hope , named Charlie. I had Charlie until he was 9 years old. I have had dogs my entire life, and couldn't imagine life without them! Please know that your dog will be in good hands with me. I firmly believe dogs should be spoiled and treated the best...my dog is definitely my fur kid as dorky as that may be...dogs are the best! I look forward to meeting yours! I work from home and have a large yard - so we are home and will be actively engaged with your pup! My two dogs are 7 and 11 we go on hikes and then rest! I treat your pup as mine - we hang out, play, nap, cuddle, and hike! Let me know your needs and we will figure it out.
“jacquelyn was great! dropped my dog off to her for the weekend and received multiple updates each day. especially appreciated the photos and videos! when i picked up my dog he seemed to have had a good time ˙ᵕ˙”

“Cat was great with my "Cat- Pete" I enjoyed the photos she sent me of him "Birdwatching". It really let me know he was having a vacation at her home, while we were on our vacation! I instantly felt her love for Pete the moment we arrived for our meet-up visit! I would recommend Cat to be your pet sitter too!”

“We booked Mario for the first time/new clients. We liked his boarding care. He was great ! We met him prior to booking to get acquainted with him and for our dog to get to know him. My beagle got a lot with him well . Mario sent me a daily report and pictures . I felt at ease during our time away from our family puppy. I have already recommend Mario to our friends and family. With that said, I would definitely book with Mario again.”

“I had such a great experience having Jeter and Blue stay with Gracie & Julio over the long weekend! They were incredibly flexible, accommodating, and took such great care of both of them. I loved getting pictures and updates throughout their stay. It was so nice to see how happy, comfortable, and well taken care of they were. I could tell they were in great hands, and I really appreciated all the love and attention they gave them. I would absolutely recommend Gracie & Julio and would definitely have Jeter and Blue stay with them again!”

“Ellen was fantastic! She made my pup feel right at home, took her on walks, and shared thoughtful updates that completely put me at ease. You can truly tell that Ellen loves animals and takes such great care of them. I’d absolutely recommend her and can’t thank her enough!”

About: I have had a Yorkie my whole life and he is now 16 and has many health issues and has gone from fun and playful to slowly moving, providing the best diet and movement is necessary to allow pets of all ages to live their best lives. I have also taken care of all of my family pets from horses to dogs to cats. I have done many side jobs dealing with small chihuahuas to big boxers with big personalities. I ultimately love animals and want to be around them. I currently work full time but only work 5 hours max a day. I like to workout but can incorporate daily walks into this. I have wednesdays and Thursdays off every week. I can easily crate the dog if needed and have the beautiful las Palmas in my backyard for walks, I also have room for toys and for them to roam.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Oak View
We were visiting Ojai for a concert, and worried about leaving Lorenzo at the hotel during the show. Thankfully we found Misty! He ended up having a great time with her and her family - cuddling with the kids. She was awesome about sending us updates and pictures. We would 100% have her watch him again!

Steve and I are so glad to have had our boarding experience with Kyle and Brooks. They were quick to communicate and super accommodating with arrangement an our Pug, Puck was treated like a member of the family and clearly enjoyed his experience. We will definitely reach out to them for our dog care needs in the future! 5 Stars!!Excellent!

We felt so at ease leaving Kody with Emily. We didn’t worry about him like we have in the past with other sitters. He came home calm and carefree. There’s nothing better than knowing your family member is comfortable and happy where he’s at. I’m sure he will be happy to go back and play with his new friend Badger. Looking forward to next time. Thank you Emily, Liam and Badger. Kody and family.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
