My life is centered around caring for and teaching dogs and the humans that love and teach them. I have a six foot fence with in a larger 6 ft perimeter fence. We have double gates at every entrance. Dogs can free roam. Dogs eat in crates and get rest periods in crates if need be. Dogs need to be able to handle being in a crate for certain periods. Especially if they don't settle down at night and are destructive. But otherwise they are free range.

My life is centered around caring for and teaching dogs and the humans that love and teach them. I have a six foot fence with in a larger 6 ft perimeter fence. We have double gates at every entrance. Dogs can free roam. Dogs eat in crates and get rest periods in crates if need be. Dogs need to be able to handle being in a crate for certain periods. Especially if they don't settle down at night and are destructive. But otherwise they are free range.

Her house has a huge fenced backyard with no other pets, which was perfect since Henry needs to be the only dog. She works from home, giving him plenty of attention, and her large-dog experience was a big comfort with our 60+ lb pup. My office opens our back deck and so pup is free to come in and out all day long. Later afternoon walks follow a work day, I like to go to different spots to keep it interesting.
