About: I have many years of experience as a pet-sitter for friends and neighbors and have even worked as a veterinary assistant. I have experience caring for not only dogs and cats, but also rodents, reptiles, amphibians, birds and some livestock animals including goats and pigs. I have cared for senior animals and pets with medical conditions. I'm working a remote part time job as a 3D artist, so my schedule is very flexible. I am even able to bring my work with me as long as your home has internet, so I can keep a close eye on your fur, feather or scale babies! Aside from being a calm and loving companion for your pets, I am also comfortable with administering oral medications, specialized feeding requirements (calcium dusting insects, feeding rodents to snakes, etc) basic grooming requirements, spot cleaning enclosures and general exercise needs.
About: I have had animals my whole life and had dogs for the past 17 years. One of my biggest stressors was finding a loving, caring, responsible dog sitter for our dogs while we travelled. Keeping our dogs out of kennels was important especially as they aged. We turned to Rover when we moved to California 2 years ago and found the most amazing dog sitter who loved our girl with her whole heart! Sadly we just lost our 14 year old lab a few months ago and lost her sister a 15 year old lab 2 years ago. Our house is way to quiet without a dog right now. We are currently looking to rescue another lab but in the meantime I would love to help look after your furry family member! Since our dogs live long lives I have a lot of experience in caring for senior dogs from administering medicine and supplements to short walks, helping them in and out of the car and lots of cuddle time. For those more energetic dogs I like to go on long walks in the morning and would love a doggie companion. Our neighborhood is very dog oriented and at around 4pm all the doggies walk together and have some social time. Recently I have been helping out my friends and neighbors with dog sitting and dog walking and would love to help you out too! My husband and I are empty nesters so all of my love and energy goes into looking after your dog. I'm at home all the time so your dog will have lots of love and attention and for those senior dogs lots of potty breaks and outside time if needed. I'm currently not working so I am home most of the time except for doing some errands or going to the gym. Your dog will get an 45-60 minute walk in the morning (shorter if needed) and another walk in the afternoon. I have a fenced in yard so there is lots of opportunity for play time as well. I always liked to keep my dogs on a routine for feeding and walking so they know what to expect daily! There is lots of time in my day for cuddles! I have a large fenced in yard to keep your dog safe. Your dog will only be outside while I am home and will never be left outside while I am away from the house. If needed your dog can be crated while left alone for short periods or at night. I have 2 dogs beds but if you prefer to bring your own then that is great! My home is mostly all one level with the exception of 2 stairs leading to a sunken living room, ideal for senior dogs.
About: Animals have always been a central part of my life. I grew up surrounded by both dogs and cats, in a family where pets are truly considered members of the family. I’ve been lucky to always have animals around me—whether my own or the beloved pets of friends and loved ones—and I’m proudly an “auntie” to many wonderful dogs. I have a deep respect for animals and a genuine love for their unique personalities, needs, and routines. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. I approach pet care with patience, attentiveness, and tenderness, making sure every animal feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. When your pet is with me, they will be treated with the same respect, love, and thoughtfulness that I give to the animals in my own life. My goal is always to provide calm, reliable care and to make your pet feel truly at home. I have a flexible schedule and can adapt to support your pet and your schedule with ease. I am available for house stays to support your pet while you're away, drop in support, walks etc. I care for pets in their own home so they can stay comfortable in a familiar, low-stress environment. I’m attentive to routines, instructions, and individual needs, and I always follow best practices when walking dogs, including leash safety, awareness of surroundings, and respecting each pet’s comfort level. Your pet’s safety, well-being, and happiness are my top priorities, and I treat every home and animal with responsibility, respect, and care—so you can feel confident your pet is in trusted hands.
“Misty was quick to respond when I was in need of a dog walk on short notice! Everything went really well and she sent photos and checked in promptly, I was very comforted by her care of my baby! I will definitely use her help again!”

About: Need someone to care for your fur baby? I’m your person! Certified in giving love, belly rubs, and compliments like “who’s the best dog ever?” (spoiler alert, it’s yours). I’ve spent over eight years working hands-on with animals, from volunteering at humane societies and rescues to caring for pets in boarding, daycare, and grooming. I may be a retired groomer, but my soft spot for clean paws and wagging tails is forever. Whether your pup is shy, sassy, or a total goofball, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and completely adored. Animals have always been my world, and I truly believe nothing beats that tail-wagging, pure-love greeting when you walk through the door. I’ll treat your pets like family, the kind of family that gets spoiled and praised all day long. Pet care fits into my day the same way coffee does… it’s a must! I love starting and ending my days with wagging tails, happy paws, and a few goofy zoomies. My schedule’s flexible, so I plan everything around walks, meals, cuddles, and playtime. Basically, if your pet’s happy, my day’s already a win. Keeping your pets happy and safe is my full-time mission. I follow all your instructions like a pro, from meals to walks to any special care your furry friends need. I bring plenty of cuddles, belly rubs, and unsolicited affirmations so your pets feel loved, spoiled, and totally in charge while you’re away. Basically, I make sure they have the best day ever, every day.
About: Hello! We're dog-lovers plain and simple. Life is better with pets and we just love being around furry friends. Having dogs around the property is a real pleasure for our family :) We work from home with a very flexible schedule. We have a big fenced front yard and an even bigger fenced backyard that doggies love. During the day we usually leave the back door open so the doggies are free to roam inside and outside as they please. Next to our property is a large private forest that makes for a great place for dog walks. And during the warmer months, if your doggie is a swimmer we're happy to walk them down to the Ventura river which is a quick stroll from our house. We have a big fenced backyard and front yard on 1/4 of an acre. We have 3 little kids and often several dogs boarding at a time so we can only accept dogs that are totally non-aggressive with little kids and non-aggressive with other dogs.
About: Hi! I’ve lived with animals my whole life - mostly dogs (poodles!) - and I have two cats of my own who I absolutely adore. I recently moved to Ojai, CA to be closer to nature and embrace a lifestyle centered around wellness, animals, and the outdoors. I've decided to open my Rover sitting profile again (last time I was available on Rover I was in college), as I have had a few experiences sitting pets for friends and the community and I've realized how much I love it! My main gig is working as a marketing consultant remotely, so this lifestyle allows me the space and control over my time to be able to give your pets the attention and care they need daily. I also teach yoga and live a grounded lifestyle that pets tend to vibe with! I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes as well as senior dogs and those who require oral medication. I'm also a major cat lover - most cats warm up to me quickly, and I enjoy getting to know their unique personalities. I approach all animals with gentle loving kindness, making sure they feel seen as I speak to them and give them the attention they deserve. Animals are so special and I feel I can speak their language naturally. Whether we're going on walks through beautiful Ojai, playing in the yard, or just relaxing and providing gentle companionship, I’ll make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. You'll receive plenty of photos and updates, and your furry friend will receive all the pets and love they deserve. My job is working from home about 20-30 hours per week, so as long as you have wifi, I can be around to give lots of love and attention to your furry friend throughout the day. I have plenty of time and space to take breaks for walks, play and outdoor time. Whenever I am present in your home, I will keep my eyes on your pet. I will gently and lovingly communicate with them to make them feel safe in my presence. I will be attentive to their body language and won't overstimulate them with too many pets (if that's not their thing) - if that is their thing I will quickly pick up on it and be sure to give your pet lots of pets and love.
About: As a loving pet owner myself, I understand the importantance of finding a caretaker that you trust. I will love your pets as I do my own. I will make sure your pets are happy and cared for regardless of breed, size or age. You will have peace of mind knowing I am caring for your beloved pets while you are away. I have pets that have to be cared for in a specific manner, so I understand the importance of following instructions to be sure your pets are safe. I do not work outside the home. My time is not limited or scheduled. My girls are home schooled so we have no other commitments than to be sure your pets are cared for. I am able to come to your home as a drop in, or stay in your home while you are away. I do not board in my home due to aggressive pets of my own.
About: I've been a dog lover all my life. The past 10 years I have personally owned a chihuahua named Bean, along with my wife Jess. I've had experience with a wide range of dogs of all sizes ranging from chihuahua to a great dane. I am generally readily available as I work from home. I currently work part time and make my own schedule, allowing me the flexibility to watch your pups as needed. I am available weekdays and some weekends. I love to create a comfortable environment for dogs and make sure they're able to be as cozy as can be. An example and one way I do this for my own dog is by making him a nest out of a giant fleece blanket every morning and wrapping him up.
About: Animals are my passion. I cared for my beloved Parson Russell Terrier, Milo, from 2000 to 2015, and he’s the reason I fell in love with caring for all animals. That love led me to volunteer at the Berkeley Humane Society as a cat companion in 2014, and later at the Santa Cruz SPCA as a dog walker from 2024 to 2025. I’ve also transported rescued animals—most memorably a German Shepherd from NYC to his forever home in Florida—and have cared for friends’ and family’s pets for many years. While I don’t currently have pets of my own, I’m fully committed to providing exceptional, reliable, and compassionate care for yours. Whether it’s a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight stay, your pet will be treated like family. I follow your pet’s established routine—feeding, walking, medication, and comfort—and during extended stays, I’m happy to water plants, collect mail, and keep your home tidy. My mission is simple: to care for your pets with genuine love, respect, and dependability. I work part-time with a flexible schedule, which allows me to be available throughout the week for you and your pet. My background in customer service has taught me the importance of reliability, communication, and attention to detail—qualities I bring to every pet care visit. I provide reliable, compassionate care that keeps your pet comfortable and secure in their own home. I follow their regular routine, prioritize safety, and care for them with the same attention and love I would give my own pets.
