“Lacey watched our dog while we were gone for an overnight trip. She was great! She has a nice calm presence that our energies dog responded very well to. We returned to a happy and well cared for dog and we will definitely be using Lacey again!”

About: Animals have always been a central part of my life. I grew up surrounded by both dogs and cats, in a family where pets are truly considered members of the family. I’ve been lucky to always have animals around me—whether my own or the beloved pets of friends and loved ones—and I’m proudly an “auntie” to many wonderful dogs. I have a deep respect for animals and a genuine love for their unique personalities, needs, and routines. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. I approach pet care with patience, attentiveness, and tenderness, making sure every animal feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. When your pet is with me, they will be treated with the same respect, love, and thoughtfulness that I give to the animals in my own life. My goal is always to provide calm, reliable care and to make your pet feel truly at home. I have a flexible schedule and can adapt to support your pet and your schedule with ease. I am available for house stays to support your pet while you're away, drop in support, walks etc. I care for pets in their own home so they can stay comfortable in a familiar, low-stress environment. I’m attentive to routines, instructions, and individual needs, and I always follow best practices when walking dogs, including leash safety, awareness of surroundings, and respecting each pet’s comfort level. Your pet’s safety, well-being, and happiness are my top priorities, and I treat every home and animal with responsibility, respect, and care—so you can feel confident your pet is in trusted hands.

With a highly flexible schedule, I provide constant companionship and love overnight stays at the pet owner's home. I provide a calm, attentive presence in your home, ensuring your pup's routine stays perfectly in sync. As a creative professional working remotely, I offer more than just a walk; I provide consistent companionship and security. I respect your space as if it were my own, keeping everything tidy and secure while focusing entirely on your pet's comfort and safety.
About: Allie is my nickname:) I’ve had family dogs my entire life! I enjoy the training part, the consistency, the progress, the adventures that come with it! My family had me do all the training😆 Personally I had turtles, fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, a cat, of my own growing up. I have a few years of experience watching families homes and their pets overnight. I love it!!!! Also, I am comfortable caring for dogs and cats (or other animals) who may need to take strict daily medication, or specific care instructions, or even handling behavioral dogs. I am fortunate enough to work from home, giving me the ability to have a more flexible schedule. Whether it’s dog walks or a drop in I can do most times in the day. You tell me what your routine is, anything specific you would like me to do and I make sure to always follow it. I want your fur babies to be as comfortable as possible.
“Jasmine was fantastic! My dog had a great time and was relaxed and happy when I got back from my trip. My dog is reactive to dogs and bikes, and Jasmine dealt with that perfectly. Absolutely wonderful!”

“Sidney took amazing care of my rambunctious Labrador and Queensland heeler. She sent me loads of photos of their adventures and kept in close touch when a couple issues came up. I highly recommend her and will definitely ask for her help next time I have to leave town.”

About: I have a lifelong connection with animals and hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of pets. I’ve personally raised both a kitten and a puppy, and I grew up surrounded by horses, cats, dogs, and other farm animals, which taught me from an early age how to understand and respect animals’ unique personalities and needs. I care deeply about animal welfare and believe every pet deserves to feel safe, loved, and understood. As a highly intuitive caregiver, I pay close attention not only to your pet’s physical needs, but also to their emotional comfort, creating a trusted relationship where your pet feels calm, secure, and happy in my care. I offer flexible and reliable scheduling to meet your pet’s daily needs. I’m available for morning walks and feeding routines from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM Sunday through Wednesday, and for evening walks and feeding times from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM Sunday through Wednesday. I’m also fully available all day Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6:30 AM to 8:30 PM, providing extended care for walks, feeding, companionship, and general pet care. Whether your pet needs a quick potty break, a long walk, or consistent feeding support, I’m happy to accommodate their routine and keep them comfortable and cared for. I provide in-home pet care that prioritizes safety, trust, and a calm, loving environment. I’m happy to care for pets in the comfort of their own home, whether that means playtime, daily walks, feeding routines, or overnight stays. I work closely with each client to understand their pet’s unique needs, including optimal feeding times, training habits, and daily schedules, so care feels familiar and stress-free for your animal. I deeply value creating a warm, secure space for your pet while also respecting the integrity of your home. Having years of experience caring for animals in clients’ homes, I understand the importance of trust, responsibility, and clear communication, ensuring both pets and owners feel safe.

“Rachael is amazing. This was my first extended time away from Loaf, so I was pretty anxious. She sent me photos daily and it was clear that Loaf was very happy and relaxed with her!! I will definitely be booking Rachael again— she is communicative, trustworthy, clearly good with animals, and a great house guest, too! Upon my return, my apartment was in better condition than when I left it!”
“Leanna and Julio were great. Very commutative. Sent a lot of pictures and videos of our fur baby. Extremely professional and friendly. Thank you Leanna and Julio for taking such good care of our baby.”

“We are forever grateful to Emily for taking care of our baby and home while we were gone! Our dog warmed up to and trusted her immediately and she sent us lots pictures, videos, and updates. She also took very good care of our home so it felt lovely when we returned home.”

About: From playful puppies to gentle senior kitties and everything in between, I offer compassionate, dependable, pet care filled with love, patience, and experience you can trust! I am currently a nursing student at Westmont College. I have school Monday-Thursday, but only Mondays and Thursdays are completely booked. All other days I can work something out :) I do not offer pet care at my house, (I have two kitties of my own) however, when I take care of your fur babies wherever that may be, I will not stray from your rules, way of care, or any schedules you have already in place.
About: I have been around dogs my whole life. Growing up, my family had three dogs that I was closely bonded with and brought me such joy. Later, after moving out of my childhood house, cats were a bigger part of my life. On two separate occasions in the last few years I took on the role of long-term cat sitter for some kitties whose owners moved or went on extended vacation. Although I have not owned my own dog since teenage years, I have been around friends' dogs almost constantly - most notably, Mahoney (Mo Mo), a dog belonging to a friend I was living with a couple years ago. Mo Mo had some old trauma and therefore trust issues, meaning he sometimes took months to warm up to people. However, he tentatively let me pet him on our first meeting, and warmed up to me relatively quickly over the following 2-3 weeks. We became good friends, and since my friend traveled frequently, I was often entrusted to take care of high-energy and high-maintenance Mo Mo for days or weeks at a time. More recently, I had the pleasure of living with a friend/roommate with a new golden doodle puppy. We bonded strongly; I helped care for her and train her, and I took her with me on walks, hikes, and the occasional road trip. I have always felt a special and easy connection with animals; I adore caring for them and I could spend time with them endlessly. As of now, I am a full time graduate student, with in-person classes only occurring once a month. Other than that, I am doing my course work on my own schedule, which leaves me plenty of flexibility to help out with pet care. For now, I am not offering pet care in my own home. When I pet sit in others’ homes, I am highly attentive and respectful both of the space and of the particular instructions given to me by clients for the well being of their pets. I am open to overnight care as well as periodic visits and/or walks, depending on your specific needs.
“Melissa was the absolute BEST!!! We are “those people” who never leave home without their fur babies, and have a very short list of individuals that we would ever trust our babies with. Melissa not only met our expectations, she exceeded them. She was very patient with all of our precise instructions around caring for our 15 week old puppy, followed through with all of our preferences, sent us daily updates with photos and status, and was beyond lovely to work with. We came home to a clean/tidy home, fresh flowers and fruit from her garden and (most importantly) a healthy, HAPPY puppy. Melissa was reliable, responsive, personable, thoughtful, and SO SO loving towards our fur babies. If you are looking for ‘the one’ pet sitter whom you can leave your precious baby with and not have to worry about the care they are getting - look no further. Will rebook 100x over!!!”

“Hudson did an amazing job taking care of my sweet 12 year old beagle who sometimes can a little bit sassy. I was able to enjoy my trip without worrying & was thankful for the updates & pictures..”

“Christina is the best puppy sitter ever! We felt so confident our 8 week old puppy was in great hands. Not only did she send us multiple daily updates and pics of our puppy, but she even printed out some beautiful photos for us, and surprised us with them when we got home. We felt like we didn’t miss a thing, because Christina kept us informed on all of Romans’ daily learnings, new habits and encounters. We highly recommend Christina if you are anxious about leaving your new puppy, or any doggie for that matter.”

About: Having grown up on a farm, I have years of experience raising both cats and dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. Over the past 7 years in the Ventura area, I have had a beautiful, silly pitbull named Daphne. My soul dog through and through, Daphne and I have been through it all- including fighting her lymphoma diagnosis for the past 7 months. Unfortunately, she passed away recently. And as heartbreaking as it’s been, I find comfort and joy in taking care of other people’s fur babies. I’m currently working a full time office job with flexible hours (including work from home). My day to day can vary in terms of when I go into my physical office, but because I make my own schedule for the most part, I can work around what you need. Since my own dog’s passing, I’ve been looking to fill some of my time getting to know your fur babies and giving them some love and care. I love to spend time playing at home or at the park, and enjoy going on long walks or hiking adventures! I have also done multiple training classes for dogs just to enhance my own knowledge of how to work properly with dogs who may have some behavioral issues. When watching cats, I enjoy play time just as much as I do giving scratches or cuddles. It’s really up to what the animal wants most! I have a way of connecting with every animal I meet, and that’s something very special to me 🫶🏼

Devanna was so good with our wild Weim and also took such good care of our other animals as well! She left our home spotless as well and our pup seemed very happy (and tired) when we returned from our trip. Thank you Dev for such a great first overnight visit with Biggie! We’ll definitely see you again soon 🥰
