“Zoe was honestly incredible!! My dog Marty is a sweetheart but has had some serious behavioral issues in the past (resource guarding, separation anxiety). I've spent years working with a trainer to help build trust and work through these but it means there are some unbreakable house rules. On top of this, Marty is really smart and does what she can to punk people she thinks don't know the rules. My husband and I could tell just by our dog's behavior upon our return that Zoe handled these guidelines well with lots of care and compassion. Marty adored her and was sad to see her go. We took somewhat of a "risk" hiring Zoe as our previous dog sitter backed out a few days before an off the grid extended backpacking trip. We left detailed instructions on the house and dog and who to contact if a variety of situations arose. There was a severe water line break and Zoe was able to follow the procedures I left for her and take care of it quickly before it caused damage to our house and belonging. We were also a little anxious to know how things went when we got back to cell service and were relieved to find lots of cute dog photos to ease our anxieties that Zoe had sent throughout the week! Overall, we were grateful to have Zoe here and look forward to hiring her again!”

About: I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, and all kinds of animals. My childhood dog was truly my best friend, and animals have always been an important part of my life. When I had my own family, my first dog was a Bull Terrier. Because he was such a strong and heavy dog, I worked privately with a dog psychologist and regularly attended dog school. Sadly, he passed away from a tumor at only five years old. My second dog was an Australian Shepherd who eventually became a wonderful companion dog for elderly residents in retirement homes. He passed away at age ten following complications from surgery. My last dog, Scruffy, was a rescue from Romania and probably taught me the most. She had experienced trauma and struggled with fear and anxiety, which made her a real challenge at first. Through training, patience, consistency, safety, and above all, love, she gradually learned to trust again. These experiences have given me a great deal of understanding and practical skill when it comes to reading dogs, handling challenging situations, and keeping both dogs and myself safe. I understand that every dog has a different personality, history, and needs. When a dog is in my care, my goal is simple: to make them feel safe, cared for, understood, and happy while their family is away. ❤️🐾 I'm currently between jobs and looking for tithe right party-time opportunity, which gives me the wonderful opportunity to spend some of my free time doing something I genuinely love-being around dogs. I have a securely fenced yard where dogs can enjoy some outdoor time, and I'm happy to crate a dog if tithes is part of their normal routine or what makes them more comfortable.

I currently have two dogs of my own, Baby, a Yorkie, and Lexi, a Golden Retriever. My flight was unexpectedly delayed, and Saidy was able to extend the booking to make sure Lumi was fed, exercised, and well cared for until I could get home. Knowing my puppy was in such capable and caring hands during a stressful day of travel was an incredible relief. Saidy truly went above and beyond.
