My senior dog struggles with incontinence and some medical issues, and Ellie helped her with grace and empathy. She met all of their needs and more, spending time in the sun with the girls and and offering pets and cuddles. She was also super responsive and flexible when I had some flight delays impacting my return, and had my place clean and tidy upon my return. 11/10, would recommend!”

I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide attentive overnight care while still maintaining my regular commitments. I’m an early riser, so morning walks, breakfast, and a little extra companionship are naturally part of my routine. During the day, I may step out for several hours, but I make sure each dog’s needs and comfort are prioritized. I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible so their time away from you feels familiar and relaxed. I care for pets in their own home by keeping their routine as familiar and comfortable as possible. I follow your instructions carefully, including feeding, walks, potty breaks, play time, and their usual bedtime routine. I give dogs plenty of companionship and attention while also respecting their need for rest and space. I’ll keep your home tidy, provide regular updates and photos, and communicate promptly if anything seems unusual. My goal is for your dog to feel safe and settled—and for you to come home to a happy dog and a well-cared-for home.

About: I grew up with dogs and have loved having them in my life ever since. My family had Cocker Spaniels and Golden Retrievers, and later I adopted a mixed-breed dog of my own. Having my own dog taught me that every pup is different. Some are immediately affectionate and trusting, while others need a little more patience and time before they feel safe with someone new. I learned how important it is to pay attention to their cues, respect their boundaries, and let trust build naturally. I genuinely love getting to know each dog’s personality and making them feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while their person is away. I work remotely as a brand designer, so pet care fits very naturally into my everyday routine. I’m home throughout most of the day and already take regular breaks to get outside and walk, which means plenty of opportunities for walks, potty breaks, playtime, and attention. My schedule also gives me the flexibility to follow each dog’s usual routine as closely as possible. I know every dog has their own personality, boundaries, and routine, so I like to take the time to let them get comfortable with me at their own pace. I follow the care instructions you provide, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, house rules, and any little routines that help your dog feel at home. When caring for a dog in my apartment, they’ll have a clean, comfortable, air-conditioned space and plenty of company since I work from home. When staying in a client’s home, I’m equally mindful and respectful of both their pet’s routine and their space. My goal is always for your dog to feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while you’re away.

About: I have been relied on by friends and neighbors to walk, feed, socialize, and love on their pups for the last five years! Experience with dogs began with my own dog on the ranch I grew up at and since have house sat, walked, and done daily check ins for dogs when life gets a bit too busy. I am a full time engineer, starting work at 4am during the week. Depending on my meeting schedule, daily evening and/or afternoon walks are perfect. Every couple of hour check ins generally fit in my schedule too. I am home fairly early in the evenings and can house sit most nights of the week (especially weekends). Whatever your pet’s standard routine is, I will match it! I attempt to not disrupt their daily lifestyle. Their usual sleeping arrangements, meal times, and exercise habits will be as normal.

We left him with a long (and honestly complicated) list of instructions... different routines, special feeding details, and one of our dogs had wounds on her paw that needed regular care. Dario handled everything exactly as asked and didn’t seem fazed at all. He took great care of both dogs, kept a close eye on the injured paw, and sent us daily updates and photos. That communication made such a difference. During a really hard week for our family, we didn’t have to worry about the dogs, we knew they were in good hands. We had an unexpected guest and 3rd dog show up a few days in, and he handled that calmly and with a great attitude, even helping the dogs get introduced and used to one another.
