“Capri was amazing with our Pomeranian Sunny! She was available on short notice and took great care of him. She's helpful, kind and detail oriented. He's anxious and she made him feel right at home with her. Our family was able to go on a whale watching adventure because of her help. We highly recommend her. Thank you, Capri!”

“Lisa was fantastic. She was able to quickly befriend our picky senior Aussie. She did a great job balancing both of our dog’s individual needs and giving us piece of mind while we were away. I cannot recommend her enough!”

About: I’ve been pet sitting for friends for years. I’ve learned that pets have different needs and try to keep their routine as normal as possible. I work full time Mon-Fri but would be available to visit and provide care afterwards. I am flexible and available most weekends. Open to overnights. I respect the home I’m visiting and will only access areas that are permitted. I also follow provided instructions to ensure pets don’t get stressed.

About: I've had dogs and cats all my life and I'm very sensitive and attuned to their needs. I love walking dogs, throwing balls/frisbees as well as cuddling on the couch. I can play with cats for hours and love scratching them behind the ears until they purr. I offer short or long walks or if you have a more active pet, hikes on the SB trails or visits to the Douglas Family Preserve. For housesitting, I can guarantee your pet will be given lots of love and attention and that their routines will be honored. I teach part-time at SB City College but have a flexible schedule. I look forward to meeting your fur-baby! I am currently teaching part-time on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have availability on MWF and most weekends. I can walk dogs in the mornings or afternoons on any of these days. I can housesit every night but cannot stay during the day on T/TH. I care for pets at client's homes. I am an early riser and I tend to your pet's needs first thing in the morning. I take dogs on potty walks right away but can also take them on longer walks as well. I am very clean and always follow directions exactly (I'm a teacher :). You can expect to come home to a clean house and a happy pet!
“Chrystal is awesome! She was so sweet with our senior dog, Charlie, and took such good care of him. She even brought him some homemade treats! She ensured she had plenty of time for our meet and greet, so I'd have a chance to get to know her a little before committing to having her care for Charlie in our home. I really appreciated that. She was very respectful and flexible, and checked in about our return time, to make sure Charlie would have the care he needed if we returned later than expected.”

About: I’m a proud “dog uncle” to dozens of pups. With experience in raising and co-owning dogs, I treat every dog with love, patience, and fun. My schedule is currently very flexible for virtually any day (other than when I’m out of town of course). Happy to discuss what you’re looking for and accommodating all I can. I have a cat so I’m not able to take pets to my home since it’s also the kitty’s home and I don’t want to put her out. That being said, I’ve taken care of many pets at others people’s houses and I’m available to walk dogs while also providing some training if desired.
About: I’ve been an owner and caretaker of dogs for my entire life. I’m active, thoughtful and responsible in everything I do. Work with me and you’ll never worry about the quality of your dogs care again. My full time job is an entrepreneurial one. As far as work goes I am flexible and able to come and go as I please. I won’t take offers if I’m not able to be present with your pet. I’ve worked with a variety of dogs. Those that are calm, aggressive, nervous etc. Throughout my years of care i’ve adopted different strategies for different dogs and I’ve proven desirable outcomes. I won’t do anything myself or the owner would not be comfortable with and I follow instructions and preferences diligently. If I assume care in your home I always respect the dog and space as if it was my own. A high standard at that.
About: I understand that your fur babies are your best friends, and they deserve the very best care while you’re away. With over 10 years of pet sitting experience, I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes, bringing compassion and love to every animal I meet! 🐾 I am available morning, afternoon, and evening, most weekdays and weekends. I’m fully dedicated to pet care, so your fur babies always comes first. When caring for pets in your home, I follow daily routines and house rules to keep things as normal as possible for your pet. I understand that familiar surroundings help reduce stress, and I make sure everything stays tidy and just as you left it.
About: Hi there! Animals are a not a job for me, they are a lifelong passion. Growing up in a large, extended family with both dogs and cats, I learned from a very young age how to read their body language, respect their boundaries, and give them the love they deserve. I truly adore animals of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. When I’m not pet sitting, you can usually find me exploring local hiking trails or taking long walks on the beach. I love keeping active dogs happy, exercised, and thoroughly entertained! I currently work remotely, full-time and can take breaks throughout the day. I have the most availability from 2pm on for long walks or early in the AM before 9am, but can do short walks throughout the day. Strict Safety Protocols: Whether we are hanging out inside or out on a beach walk, your pet's safety comes first. I am always vigilant about secure leashing, double-checking that doors and gates are locked securely, and keeping a watchful eye out for potential hazards. Maintaining Their Comfort Zone: Dogs and cats are happiest when their routines don't change. I closely follow your specific instructions for feeding times, medication schedules, and bedtime rituals so your pet feels secure and stress-free in their own environment. Respecting Your Space: I treat your home with the utmost respect. I keep common areas clean, follow all house rules, and ensure your property is safe and locked up tight whenever I step out. Transparent Communication: You will never have to wonder how things are going. I send regular, detailed updates alongside plenty of photos and videos so you can relax knowing your furry friend is safe, happy, and thriving. I care for every home with the respect of a grateful guest, and every pet with the love and vigilance of a protective family member.
“Chelsi was great. We we out for about 7 hours while she watched Sheilah. She sent us updates and pictures. Since we were out of town, it was reassuring to have such a competent, confident and friendly sitter . Nothing but praise for Chelsi. We will use her again if the situation arises.”

About: I’ve owned and cared for pets over the course of my entire life. Dogs are my love and bring such joy into my world. I have always had a natural born connection that cannot really be explained. It’s a magnetism and I’m drawn to them as much as they are to me :). I have a deep understanding and knowledge of a variety of health issues that dogs commonly have including bone, joint, heart, GI issues and dietary restrictions. I’ve experienced quite a bit over the course of my life personally caring for dogs with these issues including blindness & deafness, injuries. I’m mature enough and a mom myself to confidently say that your family would be treated as my own would. I have also cared for and owned a variety of birds, fish, reptiles, bunnies, guinea pigs, chinchilla and then some! ;). Your animals would be loved as my own! Happy to do overnight care on somewhat short notice as well. Live in the Mission canyon area and have a gated yard with space for sun bathing and potty breaks/lizard chasing ;). Reliable car, DL, Insurance etc. - open to running errands, helping around the house (can discuss rate). My schedule is flexible and I’m available for boarding as well overnight with a little notice ahead of time. No problem with house sitting I have a gated yard and no pets. Nice neighborhood with friendly neighbors with dogs that enjoy each other. Local trails close by and the Riviera Theater close and other nice doggy friendly locations!

About: I love dogs and I've had 4 different dog breeds, two of which were adult shelter rescues and two were adopted as puppies. My current dog is the sweetest 2-year old Doberman - Prince - who we have been helping open up after a traumatic past. The others included a Jack Russell, Akita-Lab mix, and one that we never got tested (maybe some sort of Boxer, Pit, or Dane mix). I work from home, so I can be with your pup throughout the day. I tend to take Prince on short walks between meetings (usually one every 90 minutes) in addition to longer morning and evening walks. I'm happy to have the same level of frequency with your pup or to keep them on their regular routine. I know that prompt communication is important to having confidence that your pup is okay while you're away, and I'm happy to call, text, and send pictures so that you can be at ease while you are on your trip. When I have to leave town I want to know that my Prince is being cared for well. I know you want the same for your pup. Pets are part of our family, and quality care should be in reach of every pet owner. I work remote, so I can be with your pet consistently. For my own dog (Prince), I take him on two long walks (usually at least 2 miles) - once in the morning and once in the evening. I usually have three to five 45-minute zoom meetings per day with breaks between each (occasionally one might go long so I'll have two back-to-back). Between meetings I take Prince on short walks, play with him, or do some training for mental stimulation. I prefer to stay with your dog in your home, where we can maintain their routine and minimize the stress of you being away for an extended period. I think that it is important to have a conversation to get acquainted with both you and your dog, and to ensure that I understand their unique needs.
“Chase was wonderful and provided such loving care to our rather rambunctious one year old Portie. He was conscientious, responsive and I felt full trust in him from the first meeting. We will definitely use him again in the future and have already recommended to friends.”

“Ellie was amazing with my kitty and senior doggo. She listened with care to all of my care instructions, sent detailed updates everyday, and was so gentle and caring with my girls. My senior dog struggles with incontinence and some medical issues, and Ellie helped her with grace and empathy. She met all of their needs and more, spending time in the sun with the girls and and offering pets and cuddles. She was also super responsive and flexible when I had some flight delays impacting my return, and had my place clean and tidy upon my return. 11/10, would recommend!”

“I highly recommend Mike to come to your home and take care of your pets. I was gone for two weeks and he made sure my dog was safe, healthy and happy. I will definately be asking Mike again in the future.”

Suzanne was everything you’d want in a dog sitter—a lifetime of experience with animals, including emergency care—she’s responsible, a good communicator, and great with the dogs. I left my home and precious pups without a worry. A good dog sitter has to be about more than your dogs liking them. Suzanne’s background with animals, her wealth of knowledge and decades of experience make her the ideal pet sitter.

We just had Zoey stay at our house for three nights with our big dog - she was AMAZING! Flexible, thoughtful, punctual, communicative, respectful, responsible… The list goes on! She really went above and beyond, and totally exceeded our expectations. We felt so comfortable and relaxed being away, knowing that Zoey was going to be there with our girl. She’s a natural “dog person” too, very gentle and kind, caring for our dog like she was her own. We will be eager to have her back whenever we leave town next! Thank you, Zoey!

Chloe was wonderful with Artimus. She was super communicative the whole time, sent photos throughout, and clearly took great care of him with plenty of walks. She was on time, respectful of the house, and left everything clean. We look forward to booking with her again!

Deborah watched our dogs with short notice because of an unexpected medical appointment. She was flexible and calm in learning about our dogs. Our dogs liked her immediately and were very comfortable with her. We appreciated her frequent updates and came home to two very happy dogs. We highly recommend her.

Anela was wonderful with our two dogs. Detail oriented and thoughtful about all of their needs. She followed all of my instructions carefully which involved a lot of medications for one of my dogs. She left everything clean and tidy following a two night stay. She is on the younger side but very responsible. I highly recommend her.
We needed someone to care for our super senior 17 year old that needs multiple oral medications, to be carried up and down steps, and occasionally has accidents in the house and Madison was up for the task for all of it. She took great care of our pup and our home while she stayed here. She was communicative, punctual and responsible. We will definitely use her again in the future.

Jane took really great care of my reactive pup during a longer stay. She communicated well and kept me informed about a stomach upset my pup had while I was gone, which luckily only lasted a day, as well as any reactions that occurred while walking my dog. Will definitely rebook in the future when needed
