“Like most of the other reviews....our dog Emna came home tired and smiling. Jeanine took her out to the dog park and to Maffitt Reservoir to run around and get plenty of exercise. Emma is our only dog so it was nice for her to have other dogs close to her size to run around with and socialize with. She has a doggy door that the dogs can come and go as they please into the back yard. She was very flexible and willing to work with our schedule for drop off and pick ups. She even sent us home with a few doogy treats and a new dog toy. When we need her in the future we will use her services. Thanks again Jeanine!!!!!!!!”

About: I’ve owned and cared for pets over the course of my entire life. Dogs are my love and bring such joy into my world. I have always had a natural born connection that cannot really be explained. It’s a magnetism and I’m drawn to them as much as they are to me :). I have a deep understanding and knowledge of a variety of health issues that dogs commonly have including bone, joint, heart, GI issues and dietary restrictions. I’ve experienced quite a bit over the course of my life personally caring for dogs with these issues including blindness & deafness, injuries. I’m mature enough and a mom myself to confidently say that your family would be treated as my own would. I have also cared for and owned a variety of birds, fish, reptiles, bunnies, guinea pigs, chinchilla and then some! ;). Your animals would be loved as my own! Happy to do overnight care on somewhat short notice as well. Live in the Mission canyon area and have a gated yard with space for sun bathing and potty breaks/lizard chasing ;). Reliable car, DL, Insurance etc. - open to running errands, helping around the house (can discuss rate). My schedule is flexible and I’m available for boarding as well overnight with a little notice ahead of time. No problem with house sitting I have a gated yard and no pets. Nice neighborhood with friendly neighbors with dogs that enjoy each other. Local trails close by and the Riviera Theater close and other nice doggy friendly locations!

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with pets, and over the years I've cared for my own dogs as well as those of friends and family. Loving and caring for animals has never felt like a job to me - it's something that comes naturally. In 2023 I said goodbye to my beloved Boston Terrier, Roscoe, after 16 wonderful years together. Losing him was heartbreaking, and although I haven't felt ready for a new dog of my own just yet, I've deeply missed the companionship, laughter, and unconditional love that only animals can bring. That's one of the reasons I've joined Rover. Caring for these special family members feels like the perfect way to share that love again while helping pet parents feel completely at ease when they're away. What sets me apart is that your pet won't simply be watched - they'll be welcomed into a home where they'll receive genuine affection, companionship, and individualized care. I understand that every animal has their own personality, and I'll take the time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. My goal is for them to feel like they're staying with family, not just a sitter. I'm currently working from home in Santa Barbara, which gives me an extremely flexible scheduled allows me to be present with your pet throughput the day. My partner also works form home and is a lifelong animal lover, so your pet will always have companionship, supervision, and plenty of affection. Since we're home most of the day your pet will enjoy regular potty breaks, playtime, attention, and lots of opportunities to relax with us. If it's appropriate for your dog and approved by you, I'd also love to take them on at least one 30-60 minute walk each day, along with plenty of outdoor time in our secured yard. I'm happy to follow your pet's normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and at home while you're away. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priorities. Our home is fully fenced and securely gated in both the front and the backyards, providing a safe space for supervised outdoor play, fresh air, and potty breaks throughout the day. We love spending time outside gardening and enjoying our yard, so your dog will have plenty of opportunities to join us while always being supervised. Fresh water is always available, and I'll carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, exercise, favorite toys, sleeping arrangements, and any special needs or preferences your pet has. Most importantly, I'll treat your pet with the same love, patience, and care I'd give my own. I know how much trust it takes to leave a beloved family member with someone else, and I take that responsibility to heart. You'll get updates during their stay, and my hope is that when you return, your pet will have felt safe, happy, loved, and excited to come back again.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs, young and old, and think the absolute world of these beautiful animals. I recently parted ways with my soul dog when he passed in March and have missed him every moment since. Despite this loss, I have not lost my love for dogs. Caring for your baby would be an absolute privilege and joy for me, and I promise to love and look out for them as my own. I work in home health healthcare but am typically available every morning before 10am and every afternoon after 4pm. My days can be flexible where I can check in periodically as well— I am happy to coordinate as needed. I’m also off every Wednesday and am available over overnight stays. I welcome dogs into the home as well and am always willing to take them out to the beach, on trails, and any adventures in general!

“Honey took such great care of our 2 Australian Shepherds. She was responsive, proactive with asking the right questions, and sent plenty of videos/ photos which we really appreciated. About: I've always had dogs growing up so I am very familiar with animals. I have also been fostering dogs since I was 13 years old. Since coming to college, I have continued fostering through shelters/taking dogs out for the day. I am the biggest animal lover and find so much joy in spending time with dogs. About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 10. I have been a dog walker for my family, who has always had 3-4 large dogs. I have taken hundreds of beach walks/neighborhood walks with my own dogs and neighbors dogs that I have been asked to watch. I currently work remote and have time to stay with the dog for longer periods of time, I love taking long walks especially. I have more time on weekdays as I take frequent walks, I often leave town on the weekends or am out of the house. I have a yard, but it is not fenced. I would keep the dog inside with me at all times and always keep an eye on him/her. On walks I will always be attentive and keep the dog on leash as needed/required.

I have a deep understanding and knowledge of a variety of health issues that dogs commonly have including bone, joint, heart, GI issues and dietary restrictions. I’ve experienced quite a bit over the course of my life personally caring for dogs with these issues including blindness & deafness, injuries. I’m mature enough and a mom myself to confidently say that your family would be treated as my own would. I have also cared for and owned a variety of birds, fish, reptiles, bunnies, guinea pigs, chinchilla and then some! ;). Your animals would be loved as my own! Happy to do overnight care on somewhat short notice as well. Live in the Mission canyon area and have a gated yard with space for sun bathing and potty breaks/lizard chasing ;). Reliable car, DL, Insurance etc. - open to running errands, helping around the house (can discuss rate). My schedule is flexible and I’m available for boarding as well overnight with a little notice ahead of time. No problem with house sitting I have a gated yard and no pets. Nice neighborhood with friendly neighbors with dogs that enjoy each other. Local trails close by and the Riviera Theater close and other nice doggy friendly locations!
About: I grew up with the responsibility of taking care of my family dogs growing up, so they have always been a big, loving part of my life. As an adult, I have lived with 3 different dogs and have helped raised two from pups. I am always the go-to dog sitter for all my friends when they are out of town since I live a very active lifestyle. I’m always out for walks on the town (or runs) if that is your dogs cup of tea. Since I was 9 I have volunteered with animals of all kinds, from local rescue pets to monkeys and jaguars in the jungles of Bolivia! I’m experienced with a variety or breeds and personalities. Belly rubs, park adventures, fetch, and plenty of love will flow freely while you’re away :) I am currently working part-time as a freelancer so my weekdays are pretty flexible and can accommodate most schedules. Weekends can be tricky but not impossible! Always reach out. Your home becomes my home while I’m there, and your pet becomes my whole focus. I do a full walkthrough before the first stay so I know their routine inside and out — feeding times, favorite walk route, where the leash lives, any quirks or comfort spots. Staying true to their normal rhythm is my top priority, because I know changes in routine can be stressful for them even when everything else is fine. I’m attentive to the little things — appetite, energy, mood, bathroom habits — and I’ll reach out right away if anything seems off, rather than wait and see. Medications go out on schedule, doors and gates get double-checked, and I never introduce new food or treats without checking with you first. And because I know it’s hard to be away from them, I send daily photos and videos so you can see for yourself that they’re safe, comfortable, and getting all the love they’re used to at home.

About: EXPERIENCE: My last dogs (who recently left the planet) were 85 lb Pit Bulls, so I get challenging (but amazing!) dogs. Before that, I had a wonderful Lab/Border Collie, so I get dogs who need a lot of exercise every day. He was also fairly non-ambulatory for a few years, so I’ve done a lot of senior dog care. About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with pets, and over the years I've cared for my own dogs as well as those of friends and family. Loving and caring for animals has never felt like a job to me - it's something that comes naturally. In 2023 I said goodbye to my beloved Boston Terrier, Roscoe, after 16 wonderful years together. Losing him was heartbreaking, and although I haven't felt ready for a new dog of my own just yet, I've deeply missed the companionship, laughter, and unconditional love that only animals can bring. If it's appropriate for your dog and approved by you, I'd also love to take them on at least one 30-60 minute walk each day, along with plenty of outdoor time in our secured yard. I'm happy to follow your pet's normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and at home while you're away. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priorities. Our home is fully fenced and securely gated in both the front and the backyards, providing a safe space for supervised outdoor play, fresh air, and potty breaks throughout the day. We love spending time outside gardening and enjoying our yard, so your dog will have plenty of opportunities to join us while always being supervised. Fresh water is always available, and I'll carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, exercise, favorite toys, sleeping arrangements, and any special needs or preferences your pet has. About: I’ve grown up around dogs, young and old, and think the absolute world of these beautiful animals. I recently parted ways with my soul dog when he passed in March and have missed him every moment since. Despite this loss, I have not lost my love for dogs. Caring for your baby would be an absolute privilege and joy for me, and I promise to love and look out for them as my own. I work in home health healthcare but am typically available every morning before 10am and every afternoon after 4pm. About: I've always had dogs growing up so I am very familiar with animals. I have also been fostering dogs since I was 13 years old. Since coming to college, I have continued fostering through shelters/taking dogs out for the day. I am the biggest animal lover and find so much joy in spending time with dogs.
