About: I’ve owned and cared for pets over the course of my entire life. Dogs are my love and bring such joy into my world. I have always had a natural born connection that cannot really be explained. It’s a magnetism and I’m drawn to them as much as they are to me :). I have a deep understanding and knowledge of a variety of health issues that dogs commonly have including bone, joint, heart, GI issues and dietary restrictions. I’ve experienced quite a bit over the course of my life personally caring for dogs with these issues including blindness & deafness, injuries. I’m mature enough and a mom myself to confidently say that your family would be treated as my own would. I have also cared for and owned a variety of birds, fish, reptiles, bunnies, guinea pigs, chinchilla and then some! ;). Your animals would be loved as my own! Happy to do overnight care on somewhat short notice as well. Live in the Mission canyon area and have a gated yard with space for sun bathing and potty breaks/lizard chasing ;). Reliable car, DL, Insurance etc. - open to running errands, helping around the house (can discuss rate). My schedule is flexible and I’m available for boarding as well overnight with a little notice ahead of time. No problem with house sitting I have a gated yard and no pets. Nice neighborhood with friendly neighbors with dogs that enjoy each other. Local trails close by and the Riviera Theater close and other nice doggy friendly locations!

About: I grew up with pets of all kinds in my house. We currently have 3 dogs and 1 cat, and my step dad is a dog trainer so I have a bit of knowledge regarding that subject as well. I am experienced in walking, bath, and play time with all sorts of animals, not just cats and dogs. I have experience with horses, tortoises, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs etc. Starting in January 2026 I will be a student at Cal Poly majoring in chemistry! I have class for 4 hours Monday-Wednesday and Friday. I teach dance classes for 1-3 hours Tuesday-Wednesday evenings. My weekends are completely available! I am firm in my idea that animals need lots of attention, exercise and play time. I will listen to what your pet tells me they need whether it’s a cuddle, a walk, or a potty break!

About: I can't remember a time without a furry (or occasionally aloof, whiskered) friend by my side. I literally came home from the hospital to a wagging tail — my family's dog was my first welcome committee, and honestly, it's been downhill ever since. In the best way. I've shared my home with cats who ran the place like tiny CEOs, and two dogs who kept me on my toes and taught me more about patience than any human ever has. If you've got a dog who needs zoomies and belly rubs, or a cat who'll deign to acknowledge my existence on her own schedule, I speak both languages fluently. I'm also a proud supporter of the Santa Barbara Humane Society — animals have given me enough joy over the years that giving back isn't optional, it's just what you do. When you leave your pet with me, you're not getting a stranger who "loves animals" in the vague, profile-filler kind of way. You're getting someone who will send you the update photos, learn your dog's weird quirks or your cat's exact opinion of strangers, and treat your critter like my own — because that's the whole job. As someone who's self-employed, I have the flexibility to give your pets the time and attention they deserve. I recently said goodbye to my beloved companion, and while I'm not quite ready to welcome a new furry friend into my own home yet, caring for other people's pets has been incredibly meaningful. It keeps me connected to what I love most while giving me the chance to shower someone else's best friend with all the love and care they need. I work from home, I'm flexible throughout the day, for pet companionship and supervision. I'm also an active person who loves getting out, so regular walks to the park, beach, or around downtown are part of my routine. About: EXPERIENCE: My last dogs (who recently left the planet) were 85 lb Pit Bulls, so I get challenging (but amazing!) dogs. Before that, I had a wonderful Lab/Border Collie, so I get dogs who need a lot of exercise every day. He was also fairly non-ambulatory for a few years, so I’ve done a lot of senior dog care. Currently, I walk and foster dogs at the SB County Shelter to fill my dog void. ME: I love all animals, probably more than people. I’ve had, and cared for, dogs, cats, horses, rabbits… PERKS/ENVIRONMENT: I work at home, so your dog will have company most of the day. My completely fenced in yard was made for dogs to play. The back door is open so they can go in and out as they please, sniff around, lay in the sun... I love to walk, hike, and go to the beach, which are all better with a dog! I’m super responsible, especially when it comes to the well-being of furry creatures. While your dog/animal is in my care, I will care for them like my own. NOTE: I’m new to Rover, so may not have all the references, but can provide them for you.

About: Though I use to work in person as a nurse in an oncology unit, I now work from home full time as a research nurse organizing breast cancer clinical trials. Though I don’t currently have any pets of my own, I am an animal lover and hoping to walk and care for your dogs and cats! I have decades of pet sitting throughout my life! I am comfortable with many different pet personalities and any needs of your pet including medication administration. Please feel free to ask questions! I currently work from home full time with a somewhat flexible schedule as a remote research nurse. I am available between meetings, some evenings and some weekends! About: I grew up taking care of animals since the age of 12. Whenever family, friends, or neighbors needed someone to take care of their furry bestie; I gave them the a blast! I enjoy taking them on long walks/hikes, teach them tricks or polite manners, play with their favorite toy, and last but not least putting them to sleep by singing to them if they need snuggle time. About: I’ve taken care and house trained dogs for over 15 years. Friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. Fur babies thrive on routine and respond to a set schedule for feeding, walking, playtime, and bedtime. I’m currently working part time and I’m able to schedule myself my own hours. So I’ll have plenty of time to play and dedicate myself to your pups. I provide care in your home, secure yard, or neighborhood as that’s where your pet is most familiar / comfortable. About: Many people in the area have trusted me with their pets and homes. I have experience taking care of puppies, dogs, and cats. I love dogs and I am reliable and responsible! I am 26 and work from home on Mondays and have Fridays and weekends off. I am on a 4 day work week schedule so I am available all day Friday-Sunday and work from home on Mondays. I have lots of time on these days to board your pet or check in. I currently have no pets. I have 2 housemates that also love dogs but I cannot board cats because one of them has an allergy.

About: I grew up around animals with my mom being a veterinarian, and I’ve spent years helping out at her clinic. That experience gave me a strong understanding of pet behavior, health, and how to keep animals comfortable and safe. I’ve also been pet sitting since I was younger, caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I treat every pet like my own and always make sure they feel happy, loved, and well taken care of while you’re away. My schedule is very flexible since I work as a personal trainer with varying hours each week. I’m typically only working a few hours at a time, with most of my clients in the mornings or evenings, so I’m home a lot during the day and able to give your pet plenty of attention. I currently live in an apartment, so I focus on in-home stays and drop-in visits. I try to keep pets in their normal routine as much as possible so they feel comfortable and safe in their own environment. I always make sure they have plenty of attention, walks, and time outside of just being checked on. I also try to spend as much time with them as I can so they’re not left alone for long. If your dog is comfortable with it, I’m happy to bring them along with me sometimes so they’re getting more interaction and not just sitting at home. I always go based on each pet’s personality and what you’re comfortable with as the owner.

About: I have trained two large breed puppies as well as cared for and walked dogs of all sizes. I absolutely love getting outside with all dogs! My schedule is very open, I am currently in nursing school and have a long day on Monday, but aside from that I am around the house frequently and am available.
