“Cheryl was great with coco, we did and meet and greet before our date walk and that helped a lot since I hadn’t had that with anyone else, it sure made me happy to know the person before. Cheryl is very caring and made sure that coco had enough food and water before she left. I would definitely book her again.”

About: I’m reliable and trustworthy, with experience caring for a variety of pets, from small dogs to active 1-year-old labs, as well as cats and chickens. I’ve watched multiple pets at the same time and can handle different needs, including giving medication or keeping up with high-energy animals. I’ve been watching pets since high school and grew up around dogs and cats, so being around animals comes naturally. I’m responsible, patient, and caring, and I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m a full-time working professional with a very flexible schedule that will allow me to drop in during the day or work from home if an all day shift is needed. Depending on my schedule I may be available for short notice requests and I don’t mind same day cancellation as long as there is no travel involved. I try to treat pets like family, giving them attention, patience, and care so they feel safe and comfortable. Every animal is different, so I adjust to their personality. Whether that is lots of playtime, quiet companionship, or giving them space when they need it. Animals are very intuitive, and I’ve found that bringing calm, loving energy helps them open up and feel at ease. I always pay attention to their body language to make sure they’re happy and well cared for.
“James was great for Apache. He was on time, communicated throughout and sent me lots of photos which I appreciated very much. James even went out of his way to take Apache for a few car rides (with my permission of course) for different walk destinations. Overall James has been amazing! I will definitely get James to walk Apache again and recommend him to anyone.”

“It’s was my first time booking with Anny. I am very impressed by how professional, knowledgeable and responsible she is! She spent a good amount of time understanding my dog and cat during the meet and greet to ensure she had a good understanding of both. I am glad to have Anny take care of my boys I had to be home late. Highly recommended!”

About: I've had dogs and cats all my life and I'm very sensitive and attuned to their needs. I love walking dogs, throwing balls/frisbees as well as cuddling on the couch. I can play with cats for hours and love scratching them behind the ears until they purr. I offer short or long walks or if you have a more active pet, hikes on the SB trails or visits to the Douglas Family Preserve. For housesitting, I can guarantee your pet will be given lots of love and attention and that their routines will be honored. I teach part-time at SB City College but have a flexible schedule. I look forward to meeting your fur-baby! I am currently teaching part-time on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have availability on MWF and most weekends. I can walk dogs in the mornings or afternoons on any of these days. I can housesit every night but cannot stay during the day on T/TH. I care for pets at client's homes. I am an early riser and I tend to your pet's needs first thing in the morning. I take dogs on potty walks right away but can also take them on longer walks as well. I am very clean and always follow directions exactly (I'm a teacher :). You can expect to come home to a clean house and a happy pet!
“Aimee is awesome. My dog, Tico, loved her. She is very friendly, reliable, consistent, mature, punctual and a good communicator. She walked Tico for me each day for almost 3 weeks due to foot surgery. I would trust Aimee to take care of my dog if I needed to travel, too.”

About: I have proudly cared for my own dog for the past 9 years as well as my family and friend’s dogs as well, giving me hands-on experience with daily walks, feeding, companionship, and overall pet care. I am a beginner to Rover, however I genuinely love animals and understand the importance of providing them with patience, attention, and a safe, caring environment. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to make them feel comfortable, happy, and loved. Pet care is already a regular part of my daily routine, as I have cared for my own dog for the past 9 years. I work full time during the week, but I am available after 6PM on weekdays for walks, drop-in visits, and quality time with pets. On weekends, I have open availability and can dedicate more time to longer walks, playtime, and personalized care. I enjoy spending time with animals and make it a priority to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their established routine as closely as possible to help pets feel comfortable and secure. I ensure they have fresh water, are fed according to instructions, receive plenty of attention, exercise, and bathroom breaks, and are always kept safe. I also provide updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind while they are away. My goal is to treat every pet with the same love, patience, and care that I give my own dog.
About: I’m a proud “dog uncle” to dozens of pups. With experience in raising and co-owning dogs, I treat every dog with love, patience, and fun. My schedule is currently very flexible for virtually any day (other than when I’m out of town of course). Happy to discuss what you’re looking for and accommodating all I can. I have a cat so I’m not able to take pets to my home since it’s also the kitty’s home and I don’t want to put her out. That being said, I’ve taken care of many pets at others people’s houses and I’m available to walk dogs while also providing some training if desired.
About: EXPERIENCE: My last dogs (who recently left the planet) were 85 lb Pit Bulls, so I get challenging (but amazing!) dogs. Before that, I had a wonderful Lab/Border Collie, so I get dogs who need a lot of exercise every day. He was also fairly non-ambulatory for a few years, so I’ve done a lot of senior dog care. Currently, I walk and foster dogs at the SB County Shelter to fill my dog void. ME: I love all animals, probably more than people. I’ve had, and cared for, dogs, cats, horses, rabbits… PERKS/ENVIRONMENT: I work at home, so your dog will have company most of the day. My completely fenced in yard was made for dogs to play. The back door is open so they can go in and out as they please, sniff around, lay in the sun... I love to walk, hike, and go to the beach, which are all better with a dog! I’m super responsible, especially when it comes to the well-being of furry creatures. While your dog/animal is in my care, I will care for them like my own. NOTE: I’m new to Rover, so may not have all the references, but can provide them for you.
About: I continue educating myself within the holistic realm of animal care and connection. I am certified in level three Equine and Canine Hanna Somatics. This modality is deeply relaxing for the animal and creates a close bond. As part of the pet sitting I will use these modalities if requested. I am also certified in Animal Reiki Master level, which is also a calming and healing modality. I am a professional Animal Communicator and will only communicate with your animal with your permission. Because I am intuitive, most animals like me and are relaxed with me. I have experience caring for birds, rabbits, dogs, cats, goats and horses. I have experience feeding them their medicine and giving insulin shots. I am in great shape and so exercising the animals is no problem. I prefer house sitting as my apartment has no yard. I have over 30 years of local house sitting references. I will pet sit in my apartment for one small or medium dog only at a time. I work part time and I am available for overnight stays every day of the week and weekend. I am available everyday for multiple visits during the day starting in the morning before nine, noon, and after three pm. I live in an apartment with not yard and so dogs under 40 pounds are appropriate for stays in my home. I live across from a dog park and I have a reliable car. I am available for care in the clients home for overnights and multiple daily visits for feeding and walks.
About: I've taken care of cats and dogs since I was 12. Clients and neighbors have depended on me to look after their animals: feeding, bathing, walking. I have trained several puppies and dogs, as well as cared for cats. I love animals! I am available almost everyday to walk and look after pets. The hours that tend to work best for me are 8 am to 6 pm. I love animals and will treat your dog as if they were my own. I will be alert as I walk them, and excited to do so.
About: I grew up with the responsibility of taking care of my family dogs growing up, so they have always been a big, loving part of my life. As an adult, I have lived with 3 different dogs and have helped raised two from pups. I am always the go-to dog sitter for all my friends when they are out of town since I live a very active lifestyle. I’m always out for walks on the town (or runs) if that is your dogs cup of tea. I absolutely adore doggos and would treat yours as if they are my own! I am a musician in town and work sporadically playing shows on the weekends. My schedule during the week is super flexible as I am home writing/working on music. I run/walk daily and can accommodate these to your pets schedule with ease. I live with my boyfriend in 3 bedroom apartment with a small yard out back. He is also a dog-lover and was as excited as me for signing up for this app! My landlords do not have an issue with there being dogs on property. We are a short walk to the Mission Park in Downtown Santa Barbara.
About: Hello, my name is Katie and I am a local yoga instructor with a deep love for dogs. I grew up with pets of my own and have raised many dogs and cats throughout my life. I know how pets are like children, both playful, smart, a little stubborn, but oh so loving. I know how to keep dogs and cats happy and loved with my playful, yet calming energy. I am available for dog walking and pet sitting on weekdays and weekends, and will always send photos so that you know your babies are happy. I can't wait to meet and care for your pets in the same way I love and care for my very own! I’m currently working part time, teaching online yoga…so I have plenty of time to take care of your fur babies! I am looking forward to caring for your pets as though they are kind. I am able to board your doggie…and I take great care of homes when I stay with your animals at your own home. Very clean, and want your home to feel great when you return home from your trip!

Aimee is awesome. My dog, Tico, loved her. She is very friendly, reliable, consistent, mature, punctual and a good communicator. She walked Tico for me each day for almost 3 weeks due to foot surgery. I would trust Aimee to take care of my dog if I needed to travel, too.

Nicole has been SUCH a wonderful dog walker and help to me. She is so consistent and reliable and has great communication. She gives my dog so much love and attention and has gone above and beyond for her (and I) multiple times. I can’t recommend Nicole enough! We are sad to be leaving the area and wish we didn’t have to stop working with Nicole!!

Keiko arrived on time and ready to walk! Randall was a little hesitant to take off with a stranger and leave mom but that lasted until he got around the corner and they were off and walking. She arrived back on time and Randall was happy and tired. Glad we found Keiko

Ariana was a wonderful sitter with for my Figgy! She was very communicative and flexible with my schedule. I would 100% reschedule with her! She took so many pictures of Figgy having fun! She was a very good companion for my fur baby! She took her to the beach and gave her lots of love! Very grateful for Ariana!
