About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and am comfortable around any size! I love taking my family dogs on walks and hikes and can adjust to energy levels between different ages and breeds :) While I work full-time, I have very flexible morning and lunch-time hours! Mondays: 7:00am-9:30am, 12:30-2:00pm, and again from 5:30-7:30pm Tuesdays: 7:00-8:30am, 11:30-2:00pm, and again from 6:15-7:30pm Wednesdays: 7:00-1:00pm, and again from 6:30-7:30pm Saturdays: 7:00am-7:00pm Sundays: 9:00am-7:00pm Free for housesitting, walks, and hikes on the weekends all day :) I am clean and respectful of other people’s space, and want to help your dog feel comfortable in their home. I am very communicative and can adjust to all kinds of care routines!

About: I can't remember a time without a furry (or occasionally aloof, whiskered) friend by my side. I literally came home from the hospital to a wagging tail — my family's dog was my first welcome committee, and honestly, it's been downhill ever since. In the best way. I've shared my home with cats who ran the place like tiny CEOs, and two dogs who kept me on my toes and taught me more about patience than any human ever has. If you've got a dog who needs zoomies and belly rubs, or a cat who'll deign to acknowledge my existence on her own schedule, I speak both languages fluently. I'm also a proud supporter of the Santa Barbara Humane Society — animals have given me enough joy over the years that giving back isn't optional, it's just what you do. When you leave your pet with me, you're not getting a stranger who "loves animals" in the vague, profile-filler kind of way. You're getting someone who will send you the update photos, learn your dog's weird quirks or your cat's exact opinion of strangers, and treat your critter like my own — because that's the whole job. As someone who's self-employed, I have the flexibility to give your pets the time and attention they deserve. I recently said goodbye to my beloved companion, and while I'm not quite ready to welcome a new furry friend into my own home yet, caring for other people's pets has been incredibly meaningful. It keeps me connected to what I love most while giving me the chance to shower someone else's best friend with all the love and care they need. I live in a cozy casita with a secure, fenced patio area—perfect for outdoor playtime and fresh air. Since I work from home, I'm around throughout the day, which means your pet gets plenty of companionship and supervision. I'm also an active person who loves getting out, so regular walks to the park, beach, or around downtown are part of my routine. Your furry friend will get both the comfort of a home environment and the adventure of exploring Santa Barbara's best spots.

About: I bring almost a decade of pet care across several different professional facilities. Whether a puppy, unruly, shy, or elderly I've dealt with it all! I've managed chaotic play yards but I love forming strong one-on-one bonds with all furry creatures- I was many a pup's favorite in the yards, especially the ones who were less confident. I am currently open and flexible in order to accomdate a variety of client schedules. Whether you need a regular walker or weekend drop ins I'm your girl! The safety and well being of your dog is always my priority! I have my own rescue dog who came with a few behavioral quirks and have worked with him extensivley to be an upstanding citizen as well as manage his behaviors in general.

About: I absolutely love animals and especially dogs. I love walking them, taking them on fun outdoor adventures and also checking in on them while you are out and about. I may not currently have a pet of my own but I promise I will love yours as if they were my own. My schedule is very open and I make my own hours with the part-time work that I do. Plenty of time to visit with and walk your fur-baby! I am happy to walk your dog in your neighborhoods. Also, I can come and visit with them at your home as much as needed.

About: I’ve had two dogs so far in my life, but the one I adopted 2 years ago was completely raised by my brother and I. I am very familiar with animal caretaking and training due to having pets and I have also done some pet sitting for neighbors and friends. I have experience with both dogs and cats. I love caring for pets! Knowing an animal feels loved and cared for brings me so much joy. I’m available most days as long as I’m aware a few days in advance. I try to plan ahead/schedule to make sure my dog is properly cared for everyday. I add walking my dog to my calendar so she is always given walks and never forgotten about. As a Montecito-based business owner and endurance athlete, I spend much of my time on the trails and beaches — often with a dog by my side. My lifelong love of animals, combined with my endurance background, makes me especially well-suited for larger or high-energy breeds. I genuinely love bonding with dogs and take pride in being a calm, confident presence — a natural pack leader they can trust. I care for the dogs I walk as if they were my own — with plenty of love, attention, and respect for their individual needs. I’m known for giving dogs the exercise they truly crave, whether that’s an energizing trail walk, a beach romp, or a steady neighborhood outing. I stay fully present and engaged, making sure each walk is safe, stimulating, and tailored to the dog’s energy level and personality.

About: I love dogs and I have adopted 4 different dog breeds. My current dog is the sweetest 2-year old Doberman (Prince). The others have included a Jack Russell, Akita-Lab mix, and one that I never got tested (maybe some sort of Boxer, Pit, or Dane mix). I work from home, so I can be with your pup throughout the day. I know that prompt communication is important for a pet parent to maintain confidence that their pup is safe, happy, and cared for while they're away. I'm happy to call, text, and/or send pictures so that you can be at ease while you are on your trip. When I have to leave town I want to know that my Prince is well cared for. I know you want the same for your pup. I work remote, so I can be with your pet consistently. For my own dog (Prince), I take him on two long walks (usually at least 2 miles) - once in the morning and once in the evening. I usually have three to five 45-minute zoom meetings per day with breaks between each (occasionally one might go long so I'll have two back-to-back). Between meetings I take Prince on short walks, play with him, or do some training for mental stimulation. I prefer to stay with your dog in your home, where we can maintain their routine and minimize the stress of you being away for an extended period. I think that it is important to have a conversation to get acquainted with both you and your dog, and to ensure that I understand their unique needs.

About: I have had dogs, cats, bunnies and many other pets throughout my childhood, and am always enthusiastic about feeding, walking, washing, and playing with them. I have helped care for many of my friends and family's pets, and always enjoy taking care of them! I have also cared for many puppies. I am currently a college student, but my schedule is very flexible! I am available to care for the pets on weekends and after 12:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am willing to care for your pet in what ever way you specify. I can feed, give treats, put the dog in the crate, and take care of the pet however you would like.

About: I have taken care of dogs and house-sat for families in my community since I was in high school. Whether it was checking in on dogs during the day or spending the night, I’ve responsibly cared for a family’s best friend. I have experience administering medicine to dogs and dealing with ones that may be considered “high maintenance.” I love just hanging out, walking, and taking care of dogs. I currently work full time from 10 am to 7 pm. I come home everyday for an hour lunch so I would be able to come and check in on your pup. I would be able to walk your dog in the morning and check on them during the day. I would feel comfortable taking your dog on walks around your neighborhood.

About: I've cared for and lived with dogs of different sizes, ages, and energy levels. I currently own a 5 y/o small dog, Olive, who I regularly go on hikes and do agility training with. I'm highly organized, patient, and detailed-oriented. For every walk and visit, I always take thorough, precise notes to ensure the pups are comfortable, safe, and having an enjoyable time with me. While I love spoiling other people's dogs, I always ask for explicit permission before introducing new treats, routes, or activities. I'm particularly experienced with shy, anxious, and rescue dogs. Because I'm naturally quiet and calm, sensitive dogs tend to feel safe and warm up to me quickly. I am a PhD student in Communication currently writing my dissertation. I work entirely from home with a flexible schedule. I set my own working hours every day, and I can easily make time for walks or visits to meet your needs. I focus on creating a safe, structured, and emotionally consistent space to build trust and respect with the pets I care for. To me, it's important to treat other people's pet the way I want my pet to be treated, and to recognize that each pet is a unique individual. Generally, I maintain your exact routine for feeding, playtime, and walks. That said, every pet has distinct needs. Beyond just strictly sticking to plans, I always monitor their body language and behaviors to make sure they are comfortable, communicating with you to make adjustments along the way.

About: I am a care professional whom has raised several dogs, I currently have a pitty mix at home who is an absolute love and great with other dogs. I have watched dogs and exotic pets (snake, bearded dragon, etc.) for several people while they were out of town and I have raised and walked dogs my entire life (Happy to do neighborhood walks, beach runs, or hikes depending on needs of your dog). I work mostly from home and I have a large fenced backyard for hours of fun outdoor play if you are in need in home boarding for them. I am a lover of all animals and would be honored to love and care for your pet(s) as if they were my own. I work mostly from home (only gone about 2/3 hours maximum on some days) so most of my time would be spent at home playing and caring for your pup. I have a cozy, safe and love filled home with a large fenced back yard and a large community park nearby for all the fun walks. I have a super sweet pup that would love to play with and keep your doggo(s) company. I am happy to accommodate any specific feeding schedules, medical needs, etc. for your pup and will care for and love them like they are my own.

About: I’ve owned and cared for pets over the course of my entire life. Dogs are my love and bring such joy into my world. I have always had a natural born connection that cannot really be explained. It’s a magnetism and I’m drawn to them as much as they are to me :). I have a deep understanding and knowledge of a variety of health issues that dogs commonly have including bone, joint, heart, GI issues and dietary restrictions. I’ve experienced quite a bit over the course of my life personally caring for dogs with these issues including blindness & deafness, injuries. I’m mature enough and a mom myself to confidently say that your family would be treated as my own would. I have also cared for and owned a variety of birds, fish, reptiles, bunnies, guinea pigs, chinchilla and then some! ;). Your animals would be loved as my own! Happy to do overnight care on somewhat short notice as well. Live in the Mission canyon area and have a gated yard with space for sun bathing and potty breaks/lizard chasing ;). Reliable car, DL, Insurance etc. - open to running errands, helping around the house (can discuss rate). My schedule is flexible and I’m available for boarding as well overnight with a little notice ahead of time. No problem with house sitting I have a gated yard and no pets. Nice neighborhood with friendly neighbors with dogs that enjoy each other. Local trails close by and the Riviera Theater close and other nice doggy friendly locations!
