About: Lifelong dog lover who grew up training and caring for them. My partner and I have fostered dogs over the past few years and love caring for all sizes and personalities. When your pup stays with me, they’ll be treated like family and receive the same love, attention, and care I’d give my own dog. I currently have no other pets so your pup will get my full attention while you’re away! I currently work during the week as a registered nurse from 7am-5pm. My partner works from home and is available throughout the day. We love to be active and get out of the house daily for walks. I recognize meeting new people can be stressful for many dogs. I make sure to take time to get to know a dogs personality with the first interaction and give them time to adjust to a new and unfamiliar person/environment.
“We were so pleased with the care our rather old, rather shy cat received from Crispin. And, to my amazement-the kitty area was as clean as I left it. Crispin, both kitty and I thank you!”

“Cheryl is the best professional I have met. She is super organized and does a great job of keeping you in the loop. For the first time I have piece of mind when I need to leave town. She is adorable with my cats and they love her already. Cheryl, please don’t stop doing this job because I don’t know what I will do with my life without you haha ? Thank you so much for everything!!!”

“Mike was kind, communicative, and enthusiastic about taking care of our cat. He went above and beyond watching him during the Christmas holiday! Would hire again and highly recommend.”

About: I have proudly cared for my own dog for the past 9 years as well as my family and friend’s dogs as well, giving me hands-on experience with daily walks, feeding, companionship, and overall pet care. I am a beginner to Rover, however I genuinely love animals and understand the importance of providing them with patience, attention, and a safe, caring environment. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to make them feel comfortable, happy, and loved. Pet care is already a regular part of my daily routine, as I have cared for my own dog for the past 9 years. I work full time during the week, but I am available after 6PM on weekdays for walks, drop-in visits, and quality time with pets. On weekends, I have open availability and can dedicate more time to longer walks, playtime, and personalized care. I enjoy spending time with animals and make it a priority to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their established routine as closely as possible to help pets feel comfortable and secure. I ensure they have fresh water, are fed according to instructions, receive plenty of attention, exercise, and bathroom breaks, and are always kept safe. I also provide updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind while they are away. My goal is to treat every pet with the same love, patience, and care that I give my own dog.
About: I’m reliable and trustworthy, with experience caring for a variety of pets, from small dogs to active 1-year-old labs, as well as cats and chickens. I’ve watched multiple pets at the same time and can handle different needs, including giving medication or keeping up with high-energy animals. I’ve been watching pets since high school and grew up around dogs and cats, so being around animals comes naturally. I’m responsible, patient, and caring, and I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m a full-time working professional with a very flexible schedule that will allow me to drop in during the day or work from home if an all day shift is needed. Depending on my schedule I may be available for short notice requests and I don’t mind same day cancellation as long as there is no travel involved. I try to treat pets like family, giving them attention, patience, and care so they feel safe and comfortable. Every animal is different, so I adjust to their personality. Whether that is lots of playtime, quiet companionship, or giving them space when they need it. Animals are very intuitive, and I’ve found that bringing calm, loving energy helps them open up and feel at ease. I always pay attention to their body language to make sure they’re happy and well cared for.
About: I absolutely love animals and especially dogs. I love walking them, taking them on fun outdoor adventures and also checking in on them while you are out and about. I may not currently have a pet of my own but I promise I will love yours as if they were my own. My schedule is very open and I make my own hours with the part-time work that I do. Plenty of time to visit with and walk your fur-baby! I am happy to walk your dog in your neighborhoods. Also, I can come and visit with them at your home as much as needed.
About: I have been around and cared for dogs since I was in middle school. I have a deep care for dogs and believe giving them the absolute best life while they are with us is the only way to engage with them. I have a knack for training, it somewhat comes natural to me and I have the patience for it. Im happy to work with your dog to either reinforce or teach commands/tricks. Recently, I left my corporate job. I am taking time off to assess my next career move. Which means I have wide open flexibility and need to take walks to keep thinking. What a better way to do that than to have a walking companion! I do not have pets which means all of my attention goes to yours! There are two couches, a bed and a patio for your babe to enjoy. I am available around the clock to play, walk, teach.

I work mostly from home, and can be flexible for your pet care needs. I am available 24/7 on weekends and some holidays. I will always try to accommodate your schedule. About: Hello, my name is Sandy and I am looking forward to taking care of your furry friend. Like most other animal lovers, I’ve had dogs of all kinds and pets all my life. I have patience, problem solving skills and the ability to cope with challenges under pressure. Also a deep love and appreciation of mother nature and animals. I am semi retired but still enjoy working and set my own schedule so I am available weekdays and weekends. Your pet will be well looked after. I love to go to the beach and will look forward to taking your furry friend with me. Shoreline Park is another favorite daily walk activity and just minutes away. My condo has a small fenced yard and a comfortable home for your doggie’s vacation. I live on the mesa in the Highlands with lots of easy walking just outside the front door and in the Honda Preserve so your pet will have plenty of short walks. I have been a dog owner all my life but when my last dog Nates, the absolute best dog in the world my children and I rescued from the animal shelter, left the planet for dog heaven, I couldn’t bring myself to get another and my children were all grown so I very much enjoy taking care of other’s pets.
“As usual, Jenna’s amazing with my dogs … And made herself available for last minute care. She is kind, calm, gentle with the K9’s, and they love her - I HIGHLY recommend her for any pet care … a Kabillion STARS ❤️”

About: I have one year of dog walking/sitting experience and have been surrounded by pets for my whole life! I walked/ran my neighbors dog and took care of him while they went out of town and whenever needed. My apartment recently fostered a dog for a few months and I actively took care of him, making sure he was fed, walked, and could go to the bathroom. My dad recently adopted a new dog and I regularly take him on walks, play fetch with him, and give him as much attention as he wants! I am a very active person who loves going on walks and hanging out with dogs! I recently graduated college so I have a lot of free time. I am available at any time on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday! I have a car and will be able to drive wherever needed. I take walks every day and would love for a pup to keep me company! When caring for a pet in a client's home, I respect the home and the home owners rules. I will keep the home clean and organized and follow all of the care instructions extremely carefully. I will prioritize making sure the animal is comfortable in their environment. I will also provide regular updates, photos, and communication if the owner wishes, so they can feel confident that their pet is safe and happy while they are away.
“Kathleen took wonderful care of our pets, Odie and Ollie, while we were out of town for a long weekend. She communicated with us regularly, which gave us great peace of mind, and it was clear she truly understands animal behavior and enjoys what she does. We came home to happy pets and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend Kathleen to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

“Grace took care of our two kitties for 5 days while we were out of town. She was very communicative, sent lots of photo updates, and made sure we knew everything was going well. Definitely recommend!”

About: Although I don’t have any formal dog experience, I have grown up around dogs all my life. I have experience house/dog sitting for my friends and neighbors in high-school, and even more experience taking care of my families big dogs. Further, I have some experience taking care of senior dogs, as my late Akita spent nearly 5 years on intensive medication. I love playing with dogs, taking them on walks, going to the dog park, and making life good in the safety of their own homes. I’m a student at Santa Barbara City College, but my flexible schedule allows me to spend plenty of time with your animals! I have at least 2-4 hours a day available to spend playing with, walking, or otherwise taking care of your babies. I prioritize pet safety in my care. I listen carefully to your rules about where the animal is/isn’t allowed to go, and can provide intensive support for your animals. I make sure to spend time building trust with the animal using treats or soothing methods upon meeting them, so that they feel safe and comfortable around me.
About: My family and I have always had dogs in our household and I am a lifelong animal lover. I currently have a shih tzu poodle mix named Cooper and a chihuahua yorkie mix named Yogi, both rescues. I previously volunteered at Dog Adoption Welfare Group (DAWG) and have over 4 years of professional veterinary experience — working as a kennel assistant at White's Pet Hospital and as a veterinary assistant at both VCA Century Veterinary Group and Goodland Pet Hospital. Through these roles I developed hands-on skills in medication administration, animal handling, emergency care, and maintaining the highest standards of animal welfare. I am a graduating senior at San Diego State University with a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to every pet in my care. I am available for house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking and can accommodate both planned bookings and last minute requests. With over 4 years of professional veterinary experience, I understand what it takes to keep pets safe, comfortable, and cared for. When caring for pets in your home, I do my best to keep everything as close to their usual routine as possible so they feel safe and happy while you are away. I follow any specific instructions carefully - feeding times, medications, and walking schedules - because I know how important consistency is for an animal's wellbeing. I will always ensure they get plenty of love and comfort, treating every pet the way I treat my own. My goal is always to make them feel cared for, relaxed, and less lonely until you return home!

This is the second time we have used Jenna to care for our cat while we have been away. She's been great and we will continue booking with her. Our shy cat comes out to play with her with tells us she has great rapport and we love that. She has great communication skills with us as well. Thanks Jenna!

Anna helped us out at the last minute and we couldn’t have been happier! She took such great care of Paris, kept us updated, and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. Paris was happy, comfortable, and clearly well cared for. We would absolutely book with them again!

Cheryl is excellent! She is very thorough and responsive. She was willing to do a meet and greet with us before watching our cats and we could tell she was very organized and responsible. She took great care of our cats, sent us updates/photos, and followed all our instructions with great attention to detail. Will definitely book with her again!

Caroline was great with Pepe, who isn’t used to being left home alone very often. He is a sensitive, shy, and stubborn older gentleman, but Caroline went above & beyond catering to his needs, working with us to address any concerns in real time as they arose. Communication was excellent, care and concern for both our home and pet was superb, updates were regular & consistent. We are so grateful to her and would highly recommend Caroline without hesitation.

Jessica was great with our two goldendoodles and very communicative after each drop-in visit, sending cute photos and updates, and even helped clean up pieces of a box our mischievous puppy had an argument with. She was reliable and alleviated a lot of worry we had by accepting our booking request the same-day due to a last minute emergency. I highly recommend her services for your fur babies!
