I've managed chaotic play yards but I love forming strong one-on-one bonds with all furry creatures- I was many a pup's favorite in the yards, especially the ones who were less confident. About: I can't remember a time without a furry (or occasionally aloof, whiskered) friend by my side. I literally came home from the hospital to a wagging tail — my family's dog was my first welcome committee, and honestly, it's been downhill ever since. In the best way. I've shared my home with cats who ran the place like tiny CEOs, and two dogs who kept me on my toes and taught me more about patience than any human ever has. If you've got a dog who needs zoomies and belly rubs, or a cat who'll deign to acknowledge my existence on her own schedule, I speak both languages fluently. I'm also a proud supporter of the Santa Barbara Humane Society — animals have given me enough joy over the years that giving back isn't optional, it's just what you do. When you leave your pet with me, you're not getting a stranger who "loves animals" in the vague, profile-filler kind of way. You're getting someone who will send you the update photos, learn your dog's weird quirks or your cat's exact opinion of strangers, and treat your critter like my own — because that's the whole job. As someone who's self-employed, I have the flexibility to give your pets the time and attention they deserve. I recently said goodbye to my beloved companion, and while I'm not quite ready to welcome a new furry friend into my own home yet, caring for other people's pets has been incredibly meaningful. It keeps me connected to what I love most while giving me the chance to shower someone else's best friend with all the love and care they need. I live in a cozy casita with a secure, fenced patio area—perfect for outdoor playtime and fresh air. Since I work from home, I'm around throughout the day, which means your pet gets plenty of companionship and supervision. I'm also an active person who loves getting out, so regular walks to the park, beach, or around downtown are part of my routine. Your furry friend will get both the comfort of a home environment and the adventure of exploring Santa Barbara's best spots.

About: I have had dogs, cats, bunnies and many other pets throughout my childhood, and am always enthusiastic about feeding, walking, washing, and playing with them. I have helped care for many of my friends and family's pets, and always enjoy taking care of them! I have also cared for many puppies. I am currently a college student, but my schedule is very flexible! I am available to care for the pets on weekends and after 12:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am willing to care for your pet in what ever way you specify. I can feed, give treats, put the dog in the crate, and take care of the pet however you would like.

About: I’ve had two dogs so far in my life, but the one I adopted 2 years ago was completely raised by my brother and I. I am very familiar with animal caretaking and training due to having pets and I have also done some pet sitting for neighbors and friends. I have experience with both dogs and cats. I love caring for pets! Knowing an animal feels loved and cared for brings me so much joy. I’m available most days as long as I’m aware a few days in advance. I try to plan ahead/schedule to make sure my dog is properly cared for everyday. I add walking my dog to my calendar so she is always given walks and never forgotten about. I feed my pets around the same time everyday and my family switches off on certain care taking jobs such as cleaning the litter box, cleaning up poops outside, baths, etc.

About: My first friend and best friend was a sweet as pie cockapoo named Pinky. I've grown up with dogs and cats my whole life and currently share my life with a beautiful, sweet, and athletic pitbull mix named Jackie. Jackie loves to make new friends and since I have a fenced in yard my home is perfect for playdates! Hoping to meet and care for some great animals here. I work from home full time. I run my own business and have a flexible schedule. I’m very active and spend a lot of time at the beach. I have a fenced in private yard with lots of space for doggies to play. I live in an upstairs unit of a duplex and my downstairs neighbors have a small pug.

About: I grew up with pets and now that I have a little one of my own, I feel it’s a great opportunity for my daughter to grow up with them as well. My sister has a ranch with 6 dogs, horses, pigs.... the whole farm. I help quit often. I’m pretty flexible. I’m currently a stay at home mom. I only have to pick up my my international students at 3pm Mon-Fri. Other then that we are out on runs or at the park, or enjoying our huge yard. I live on a half acre with a huge fenced backyard. I also live very close to the beach and bike path. I go for runs often. Your dog will be with me and my 3 year most of the day. My fiancé works a lot! I’m also a host mom to two international kids that go to Bishop High School. We would love to get a dog of our own. I think this is great way to get our feet wet

Growing up in a large, extended family with both dogs and cats, I learned from a very young age how to read their body language, respect their boundaries, and give them the love they deserve. I truly adore animals of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. When I’m not pet sitting, you can usually find me exploring local hiking trails or taking long walks on the beach. I have the most availability from 2pm on for long walks or early in the AM before 9am, but can do short walks throughout the day. I send regular, detailed updates alongside plenty of photos and videos so you can relax knowing your furry friend is safe, happy, and thriving. About: I have trained two large breed puppies as well as cared for and walked dogs of all sizes. I absolutely love getting outside with all dogs! My schedule is very open, I am currently in nursing school and have a long day on Monday, but aside from that I am around the house frequently and am available. I am very caring for everyone’s pup and will follow all instructions and exceed those as well. I love to get outside and go for walks, hikes, or even just throw the ball!

About: Hi, my name is Basilia, I also go by Juno. I have grown up around dogs all my life. I have experience house/dog sitting for my friends and neighbors in high-school, and even more experience taking care of my families big dogs. Further, I have some experience taking care of senior dogs, as my late Akita spent nearly 5 years on intensive medication. I love playing with dogs, taking them on walks, going to the dog park, and making life good in the safety of their own homes. I’m a student at Santa Barbara City College, but my flexible schedule allows me to spend plenty of time with your animals! I have at least 2-4 hours a day available to spend playing with, walking, or otherwise taking care of your babies. I prioritize pet safety in my care. I listen carefully to your rules about where the animal is/isn’t allowed to go, and can provide intensive support for your animals. I make sure to spend time building trust with the animal using treats or soothing methods upon meeting them, so that they feel safe and comfortable around me.

About: Taking care of both dogs and cats is something that I have loved doing since I was a young teen. I have also volunteered abroad working at animal shelters in other countries. I feel really passionate about giving them the proper love and care they deserve! I am currently working 8-4pm on weekdays but anytime after that I am free to care for your pets! I will also be free on the weekends! I wouldn’t be able to take care of your pets in my residence, but I would absolutely love to watch over them at yours while you are away!
