About: I’m a proud “dog uncle” to dozens of pups. With experience in raising and co-owning dogs, I treat every dog with love, patience, and fun. My schedule is currently very flexible for virtually any day (other than when I’m out of town of course). Happy to discuss what you’re looking for and accommodating all I can. I have a cat so I’m not able to take pets to my home since it’s also the kitty’s home and I don’t want to put her out. That being said, I’ve taken care of many pets at others people’s houses and I’m available to walk dogs while also providing some training if desired.

About: My entire life I have been surrounded by the best furry family. We had well trained, obedient and incredibly kind dogs growing up. I wished upon a star at 10 years old and voila, I got my first golden retriever puppy as a present a few weeks later. Duke Skywalker was my first big responsibility, from working on potty training to letting him off leash on hikes and on the beach. He trusted me and I trusted him. During the pandemic, he was getting older and I did what I could to help him feel comfortable and loved. Even when he wasn’t able to walk, I’d place him in the back of the car and just sit with him watching the waves cuddled up with blankets. Must have patience with the older pups, and I loved every minute. I have trained my family’s adopted pups and they caught on fast. My roommate has a cat who I help care and train for when she is out of town for work, who knew training a cat actually works. Persistence, love and patience is key! I’m currently in between jobs, figuring out if I want a career switch. I have been wanting to surround myself with pets and helping anyone who needs it. I understand not having as much time as one would like, therefore happy to lend a hand in helping walk, feed, sit, even cuddle if your pet allows. I have a big space in my home and love to go outside and enjoy the fresh air, especially if it’s along the beach on a sunny day. In a client’s home, I would play with my new furry friend in the yard if they have or research nearby safe dog parks, or parks to walk with them to. And if the dogs or cats allow, always up for cuddles when sitting on the couch ‘Netflix & chilling’!

About: Hello, my name is Sandy and I am looking forward to taking care of your furry friend. I was born and raised in SB. After graduating from Cal Poly, I traveled the world and ended up settling in New Zealand where I had a small farm for 20 years. I raised 4 day old calves and bred our mares that produced 8 foals on our property. We had goats and ducks and chickens and of course we had dogs! And cats and one pig too. I trained and “gentled” our green horses (no breaking!) Bottle fed the calves and also mothered them on to nurse cows. Encountered many different aliments along the way from bowel troubles to twisted bowels to breech deliveries and blocked udders. We learned a lot! What does that have to do with taking care of your beloved doggie I hear you say? Patience, problem solving and the ability to cope with challenges under pressure. Also a deep love and appreciation of mother nature and animals. Like most other animal lovers, I’ve had dogs of all kinds and pets all my life. Our first family dog when I was a kid was called Sputnik which tells you how long ago that was! Maybe my next will be Artemis 😃 I am semi retired but still enjoy working and set my own schedule so I am available weekdays and weekends. Your pet will be well looked after. I love to go to the beach and will look forward to taking your furry friend with me. Shoreline Park is another favorite daily walk activity and just minutes away. My condo has a small fenced yard and a comfortable home for your doggie’s vacation. I live on the mesa in the Highlands with lots of easy walking just outside the front door and in the Honda Preserve so your pet will have plenty of short walks. I have been a dog owner all my life but when my last dog Nates, the absolute best dog in the world my children and I rescued from the animal shelter, left the planet for dog heaven, I couldn’t bring myself to get another and my children were all grown so I very much enjoy taking care of other’s pets.

If they need frequent potty breaks, daily enrichment, or long walks, you can count on me to place your dogs as a priority. I received dog training and certification at my local animal shelter through their volunteer program, so I come prepared to handle all sorts of behaviors, breeds, and ages. I currently work part time downtown, so I can provide your animal with plenty of care! AM: I am up bright and early, so early morning walks before 8:30am work great for me. PM: My part time job is mainly evening oriented, so I am often available in the late afternoon to early evening on work days. On the days that I am not working, I can be available between 2:00pm to the following morning. Certain weekdays and weekends will be open to overnight pet sitting upon request. I can also work with my schedule to check on your dog throughout the day as agreed upon. Rest assured, I will fully commit to your requirements! I love to hike, so please let me know if that is something you’re interested in for your dog. You can be sure your dogs will be safe in my car! I treat them the same way I would a human child, with the utmost attention and diligence! I am a very safe driver, and have never received a ticket. I have experience giving my own dogs their prescribed medicine as directed by the vet. If this is required for your animal, I request specific and written instructions. During feeding times, I will follow your guidelines to ensure your animal has their familiar food. They will always have fresh water, and I will check their water supply continuously throughout the day.

About: My first friend and best friend was a sweet as pie cockapoo named Pinky. I've grown up with dogs and cats my whole life and currently share my life with a beautiful, sweet, and athletic pitbull mix named Jackie. Jackie loves to make new friends and since I have a fenced in yard my home is perfect for playdates! Hoping to meet and care for some great animals here. I work from home full time. I run my own business and have a flexible schedule. I’m very active and spend a lot of time at the beach. I have a fenced in private yard with lots of space for doggies to play. I live in an upstairs unit of a duplex and my downstairs neighbors have a small pug.

About: I grew up with cats, and last year started watching dogs. I love going on walks and eating snacks! Maybe that is why they like me. I currently work part-time, so my schedule is pretty flexible. Most shifts are in the evening, so I am available during the normal 8-5 working hours. I adapt to their routine and happily make time for exercise and meals. I live in a two-story duplex, with a small enclosed outdoor area.

About: Dogs have played such an important part of my life, taking care of others pet babies has become something I truly love! I will with a full heart run, walk or hike with your dog! I’ve had mostly larger dogs in my life but love the sweetie little guys too. I am very experienced in house sitting with pets and value your home and your babies like they are my own. I work full time at Cottage Hospital. I work four ten hour shifts a week. I have weekends off and one additional weekday that I would love to spend time with your fur baby! My home does not allow pets unfortunately making taking care of yours a special treat for my heart! I am very communicative, clean and will happily follow the needs of the pets and the home as requested.

About: Apart from having/ taking care of my own dogs growing up, I have also babysat/ dog sat/ house sat, and even chicken sat, in my hometown! I’m looking to continue doing this as I’ve moved away for college. I have a pretty open schedule. I have one class each day that are no longer the an hour and a half. I am a nanny, but also for no longer then 2-3 hours a day, Mon-Thu. I have Fri-Sun completely free :) I would not be able to keep a dog overnight due to not having a backyard, but for daily visits I would be able to walk a couple away to go to the bathroom, or a few miles to have fun at a near park!

About: I am a care professional whom has raised several dogs, I currently have a pitty mix at home who is an absolute love and great with other dogs. I have watched dogs and exotic pets (snake, bearded dragon, etc.) for several people while they were out of town and I have raised and walked dogs my entire life (Happy to do neighborhood walks, beach runs, or hikes depending on needs of your dog). I work mostly from home and I have a large fenced backyard for hours of fun outdoor play if you are in need in home boarding for them. I am a lover of all animals and would be honored to love and care for your pet(s) as if they were my own. I work mostly from home (only gone about 2/3 hours maximum on some days) so most of my time would be spent at home playing and caring for your pup. I have a cozy, safe and love filled home with a large fenced back yard and a large community park nearby for all the fun walks. I have a super sweet pup that would love to play with and keep your doggo(s) company. I am happy to accommodate any specific feeding schedules, medical needs, etc. for your pup and will care for and love them like they are my own.

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 10. I have been a dog walker for my family, who has always had 3-4 large dogs. I have taken hundreds of beach walks/neighborhood walks with my own dogs and neighbors dogs that I have been asked to watch. I currently work remote and have time to stay with the dog for longer periods of time, I love taking long walks especially. I have more time on weekdays as I take frequent walks, I often leave town on the weekends or am out of the house. I have a yard, but it is not fenced. I would keep the dog inside with me at all times and always keep an eye on him/her. On walks I will always be attentive and keep the dog on leash as needed/required.
