“Nick and Julie have been wonderful walkers for my dog! They responded quickly when I first reached out and were available to do a meet and greet quickly which I appreciated. They have been attentive to my dog’s needs and he seems very happy in their care. Love having them as my dog walkers!”

About: I have been around and cared for dogs since I was in middle school. I have a deep care for dogs and believe giving them the absolute best life while they are with us is the only way to engage with them. I have a knack for training, it somewhat comes natural to me and I have the patience for it. Im happy to work with your dog to either reinforce or teach commands/tricks. Recently, I left my corporate job. I am taking time off to assess my next career move. Which means I have wide open flexibility and need to take walks to keep thinking. What a better way to do that than to have a walking companion! I do not have pets which means all of my attention goes to yours! There are two couches, a bed and a patio for your babe to enjoy. I am available around the clock to play, walk, teach.
“Cheryl is very caring, organized, and dependable! She has been walking my dog bi-weekly for the past few months. I really trust her with my pet. She sends updates and photos after each walk!”

“Leanna was amazing Sailor loved her walks with her and she will definitely be a go to for future services!!! He comfort with dogs as well as her knowledge shows!! Definitely 5 star service.”

“Dawer has brought joy, commitment and hard work to his commitment to walk our golden retriever, Honey. He has been and continues to be such a gift to our family. Our dog, Honey, who has survived a number of illnesses since Dawer became her walker, paces around near her regular "Dawer time" - and no matter how she is feeling on that day - she RUNS to him. He is truly gifted in his interaction with animals and a blessing to Honey and to the many in his circle of friends and colleagues. If you need a compassionate, bright and evolved human to walk your dog and support your dog's life, literally and figuratively , select Dawer.”

About: I've always had a deep love for dogs, having grown up with them. Unfortunately, my current living situation doesn’t allow for a pet. However, I’ve had the privilege of caring for friends and family’s dogs, ranging from weekly to monthly stays. I’ve even spent nights at their homes to ensure their pets are well-cared for. I am newly retired and love taking walks at the beach, park, and around the neighborhood. I would enjoy animal companionship to keep me company. I’ve cared for dogs in various living situations, including those who sleep in crates or inside the home. I’m comfortable working remotely on a laptop, allowing me to spend time outdoors or in a separate room, minimizing disruption to the dog’s routine.
“Thank you so much! You were so kind to Ellie (plus all my cats that also wanted attention 🥹). I definitely will be booking with you again! Also, loved all the pics you took on the walks🤗”

About: My first friend and best friend was a sweet as pie cockapoo named Pinky. I've grown up with dogs and cats my whole life and currently share my life with a beautiful, sweet, and athletic pitbull mix named Jackie. Jackie loves to make new friends and since I have a fenced in yard my home is perfect for playdates! Hoping to meet and care for some great animals here. I work from home full time. I run my own business and have a flexible schedule. I’m very active and spend a lot of time at the beach. I have a fenced in private yard with lots of space for doggies to play. I live in an upstairs unit of a duplex and my downstairs neighbors have a small pug.
About: Here’s a more polished and warm rewrite that sounds professional while still personal: I’ve been caring for animals since I was 12 years old, when I rescued my first dog. Since then, I’ve raised several dogs and gained experience with puppies, senior dogs, rescues, and dogs with fear-based aggression or anxiety. I also volunteered at the humane society, where I often worked with dogs that others were hesitant to handle. That experience taught me patience, confidence, and how to build trust with animals that need extra care and understanding. With my current rescue dog, I completed dog training bootcamp twice to help her overcome severe anxiety. Through that training, I learned how to provide structure, reinforce commands, and use positive reinforcement techniques to help dogs feel safe, secure, and confident. In addition to dogs, I also have experience caring for cats and rabbits. I’m comfortable adapting to different personalities, routines, and care needs, and I genuinely enjoy making animals feel loved, safe, and well cared for. I am currently a stay at home mom. My schedule is pretty flexible with a little bit of notice. I look forward to helping you. I have very structured care for my own pup. I believe pups need a lot of love and also need to trust the people caring for them. Your dog’s safety and well-being will always be my first priority.
About: I have proudly cared for my own dog for the past 9 years, giving me hands-on experience with daily walks, feeding, companionship, and overall pet care. I am a beginner to Rover, however I genuinely love animals and understand the importance of providing them with patience, attention, and a safe, caring environment. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to make them feel comfortable, happy, and loved. Pet care is already a regular part of my daily routine, as I have cared for my own dog for the past 9 years. I work full time during the week, but I am available after 6PM on weekdays for walks, drop-in visits, and quality time with pets. On weekends, I have open availability and can dedicate more time to longer walks, playtime, and personalized care. I enjoy spending time with animals and make it a priority to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their established routine as closely as possible to help pets feel comfortable and secure. I ensure they have fresh water, are fed according to instructions, receive plenty of attention, exercise, and bathroom breaks, and are always kept safe. I also provide updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind while they are away. My goal is to treat every pet with the same love, patience, and care that I give my own dog.
About: I’ve been surrounded by pets my entire life and have always loved caring for animals. While I don’t have formal pet care experience, I’m very comfortable around dogs and understand the responsibility that comes with caring for them. I’ve worked as a waitress for many years, which means I’m patient, attentive, reliable, and genuinely enjoy taking care of others. I currently work part time as a waitress because I recently graduated from Westmont College. When I’m not serving tables, I love enjoying the nature that surrounds us in Santa Barbara so I’m available every day from 7 AM to 2 PM to walk dogs except for Friday and Sunday. I live in a small apartment and am unable to take in my own dog, however I still miss the love of pets and would love to just get some extra exercise in. If dog walking is the way to do this I’d love to make sure your pup gets a little more movement!
“Bekah has been so great for our family! Raven, our very energetic lab puppy needs lots of attention and exercise. Bekah comes super prepared for each walk and even cleans her off before bringing her back home, if Raven gets into a mud puddle ect. She is very loving to Raven and does a great job with her. I would highly recommend Bekah for any pet sitting or walking needs.”
Mesa dog parents share their Rover experiences
Nicole has been SUCH a wonderful dog walker and help to me. She is so consistent and reliable and has great communication. She gives my dog so much love and attention and has gone above and beyond for her (and I) multiple times. I can’t recommend Nicole enough! We are sad to be leaving the area and wish we didn’t have to stop working with Nicole!!

Ruby loved Aubrey! So did we. She was super responsive as we set this up and sent us a detailed report (snd photos) during & after the walk. Sometimes our neighbors say that Ruby won't walk for them, but Aubrey had the magic vibe & Ruby enthusiastically walked with her. We would hire Aubrey again in a heartbeat.

Keiko arrived on time and ready to walk! Randall was a little hesitant to take off with a stranger and leave mom but that lasted until he got around the corner and they were off and walking. She arrived back on time and Randall was happy and tired. Glad we found Keiko

Ariana was a wonderful sitter with for my Figgy! She was very communicative and flexible with my schedule. I would 100% reschedule with her! She took so many pictures of Figgy having fun! She was a very good companion for my fur baby! She took her to the beach and gave her lots of love! Very grateful for Ariana!
