About: I grew up in an animal rescue family (the 2 pugs in my photos are my pups at home). I’ve worked with several seniors dogs that require specialized accommodations and care. I’ve fostered a variety of dogs ranging from puppies to elders. I’m currently pursuing a career in animal care. I’m a student / athlete that pursues physical activities in my free time. During my sports off season I’m extremely flexible to most scheduling needs, job requests, walk duration, pace, and terrain to accommodate to any needs for your pets. I am absolutely adaptive to any dog care related needs. Animal care has always been a priority in my household. I’m easy to work with and experienced in dog handling. And I can provide basic grooming, vet pick up and drop off, & training sessions. My prices are reasonable for high level attentive care. They are based on being able to serve other clients dogs. My daily limit is 3. If you require your dog to be solo (besides my own dog) please let me know when you request the booking. Note: when you reserve a solo dog boarding or day care rate I have to request a 50% increase. I am also certified for pet first aid and CPR. I provide hands-on, eyes-on care of your pet. 24 hours a day 5 days a week. And twice a week I take 1-2 hours to take care of my own needs. And I try to take them with me when I can. So your pet is with me as much as humanly possible. I am available unless booked. Once booked and accepted, your reservation is guaranteed. Preference giving to long-term or repeat clients. If urgent or you are in a tight spot, please let me know and I will try my best to accommodate. My eclectic and enchanted garden studio is home to a rescue dog, several bunnies, and quail. Although the backyard is small, there are plenty of enriching activities available for all my furry friends. For daily exercise, we venture up the street to the spacious and dog-friendly Eling's Park, which is both beautiful and super safe for dogs. Additionally, we make a daily trip to the leashed side of Hendry's Beach or one of the many local parks that are dog friendly and our favorites like Hale Park or Toro Canyon Park plus I plan other interactive and exciting outings based on the individual needs and preferences of each pet. Transportation is not a problem, as I have a dog-friendly Honda Accord equipped with harnesses, bungees, dog seat belts with bungees, and a crate for small to medium size dogs. I prioritize the safety and comfort of your pets during car rides, and the seats can easily be folded down for added space. As a trained professional in emergency first aid for pets, I am prepared for any situation that may arise. I will follow any necessary medication routines or dietary plans, and I am happy to accommodate any specific nutritional needs your pets may have. Behavioral challenges or needs will be discussed with you, and together we will create a customized plan to ensure that your pet feels comfortable and happy in my care.
