About: I was a collegiate swimmer at USC and am super active and love the beach and hiking! I currently have a part-time job in marketing for wine businesses and I’m looking to spend more time outside dog walking. I’ve had a blue heeler and cockapoo in the past and love animals. My schedule is super flexible, I work from home and can drop in to walk or watch your pup at anytime. I can provide references as well. I am currently free most of the day and work part time from home. I’m looking to go on more walks during the day with a fur baby. My schedule is flexible! I’m unable to take care of dogs from my home at the moment, but I can bring my laptop to your home if needed!

About: I can't remember a time without a furry (or occasionally aloof, whiskered) friend by my side. I literally came home from the hospital to a wagging tail — my family's dog was my first welcome committee, and honestly, it's been downhill ever since. In the best way. I've shared my home with cats who ran the place like tiny CEOs, and two dogs who kept me on my toes and taught me more about patience than any human ever has. About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have always loved taking care of them. I have a dog of my own and have helped care for pets of all kinds, from neighborhood pups to family cats. I’ve participated in dog training classes, I’m certified in animal CPR, and I’m currently a pre-veterinarian major studying biology. About: I am 24 years old and am an avid dog lover. I have been dog walking for 10 years. I have worked at a dog boarding facility with many different breeds of dogs where I fed, administered medication and took care of them. I am responsible, conscientious, and punctual. I am available any day and throughout the day to take care of you and your dogs’ needs. I can connect and provide care for all types of dogs. I am also comfortable taking care of multiple dogs if you have more than one! My family has an Australian Labradoodle named Penny and I take care of her regularly. “I have a Great Pyrenees puppy, newly rescued off the L.A. streets a couple of weeks ago, with no I.D. or training at all. She is big and strong and I am not, so I needed the right dog-walker for the 50-pound dog, and picked Kayla K. because she raised her own 100-lb. Labrador from his puppyhood. I cannot praise Kayla enough! We started with a dog dancing around, getting tangled underfoot, and grabbing the leash like a toy. That behavior is nearly all gone now. Kayla is prompt, warm, friendly, outgoing, brought the right collar/leash combo. (now I've bought my own). My puppy gets excited when she hears Kayla's car in the driveway, and greets her joyously, and comes home nicely tired out and smiling. I took my dog yesterday to a professional dog trainer to get some help with crating and commands (like down and come), and he, a professional, was extremely impressed with my dog's calm heeling abilities that she had acquired, thanks to Kayla.”

About: I’ve had two dogs so far in my life, but the one I adopted 2 years ago was completely raised by my brother and I. I am very familiar with animal caretaking and training due to having pets and I have also done some pet sitting for neighbors and friends. I have experience with both dogs and cats. I love caring for pets! Knowing an animal feels loved and cared for brings me so much joy. I’m available most days as long as I’m aware a few days in advance. I try to plan ahead/schedule to make sure my dog is properly cared for everyday. I add walking my dog to my calendar so she is always given walks and never forgotten about. I feed my pets around the same time everyday and my family switches off on certain care taking jobs such as cleaning the litter box, cleaning up poops outside, baths, etc.

Since I was 9 I have volunteered with animals of all kinds, from local rescue pets to monkeys and jaguars in the jungles of Bolivia! I’m experienced with a variety or breeds and personalities. Belly rubs, park adventures, fetch, and plenty of love will flow freely while you’re away :) I am currently working part-time as a freelancer so my weekdays are pretty flexible and can accommodate most schedules. Weekends can be tricky but not impossible! Always reach out. Your home becomes my home while I’m there, and your pet becomes my whole focus. I do a full walkthrough before the first stay so I know their routine inside and out — feeding times, favorite walk route, where the leash lives, any quirks or comfort spots. Staying true to their normal rhythm is my top priority, because I know changes in routine can be stressful for them even when everything else is fine. I’m attentive to the little things — appetite, energy, mood, bathroom habits — and I’ll reach out right away if anything seems off, rather than wait and see. About: I have trained two large breed puppies as well as cared for and walked dogs of all sizes. I absolutely love getting outside with all dogs! My schedule is very open, I am currently in nursing school and have a long day on Monday, but aside from that I am around the house frequently and am available. I am very caring for everyone’s pup and will follow all instructions and exceed those as well. I love to get outside and go for walks, hikes, or even just throw the ball!
