About: I've had dogs and many other pets my entire life- a boxer, pugs, Akita, Cairn, and a terrier mix with health issues, requiring extra care. I'm recently retired, so pet sitting will be my full time priority. I will devote all my care and attention to your pets, plants and garden. As an avid walker and hiker, I especially enjoy caring for dogs who love outdoor time and exercise. I also love exploring new communities and being in nature, so pet sitting is a great fit-it allows me to care for animals while experiencing new places in a meaningful way. I no longer have pets of my own and truly miss the companionship they bring, which makes caring for animals especially rewarding to me. About: I’ve been pet sitting for friends for years. I’ve learned that pets have different needs and try to keep their routine as normal as possible. I work full time Mon-Fri but would be available to visit and provide care afterwards. I am flexible and available most weekends. Open to overnights. About: Hi, my name is Basilia, I also go by Juno. Although I don’t have any formal dog experience, I have grown up around dogs all my life. I have experience house/dog sitting for my friends and neighbors in high-school, and even more experience taking care of my families big dogs. Further, I have some experience taking care of senior dogs, as my late Akita spent nearly 5 years on intensive medication. I love playing with dogs, taking them on walks, going to the dog park, and making life good in the safety of their own homes. I’m a student at Santa Barbara City College, but my flexible schedule allows me to spend plenty of time with your animals! I have at least 2-4 hours a day available to spend playing with, walking, or otherwise taking care of your babies. I prioritize pet safety in my care. I listen carefully to your rules about where the animal is/isn’t allowed to go, and can provide intensive support for your animals. I make sure to spend time building trust with the animal using treats or soothing methods upon meeting them, so that they feel safe and comfortable around me.

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is a lifetime of hands-on animal care combined with professional hospitality-level responsibility and attention to detail. I basically grew up on a farm caring for animals of all sizes, so I’m comfortable with everything from energetic puppies to senior pets who need patience and gentle handling. I can help with basic puppy training like leash manners, crate training, and reinforcement of commands, and I’m very attentive to consistency and routines. For senior dogs, I’m experienced with slower walks, medication schedules, mobility support, and recognizing changes in behavior or health early. I focus on calm, reliable care, clear communication with owners, and making sure each pet feels safe, understood, and genuinely cared for. Pet care fits well into my schedule as a working professional because I have flexibility outside of my job. I’m typically off on Tuesdays or Thursdays, and Saturdays, which allows me to dedicate those days to longer walks, drop-ins, or extended care. On my working days, I’m usually finished by 6pm, so I’m also available for evening walks and check-ins. I’m able to plan my week in advance and remain consistent and reliable, making sure each pet gets the attention and care they need. I prioritize safety, trust, and a calm, structured environment in every home I enter. In a client’s home, I strictly follow all instructions, maintain the pet’s normal routine, and treat the space with respect and care. I make sure doors, gates, leashes, and entry points are always secure, and I never take unnecessary risks during walks or outings. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior, energy, and health so I can quickly notice anything unusual and communicate with the owner right away if needed. I also make sure pets are never left unattended in unsafe situations.
