About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and am comfortable around any size! I love taking my family dogs on walks and hikes and can adjust to energy levels between different ages and breeds :) While I work full-time, I have very flexible morning and lunch-time hours! Mondays: 7:00am-9:30am, 12:30-2:00pm, and again from 5:30-7:30pm Tuesdays: 7:00-8:30am, 11:30-2:00pm, and again from 6:15-7:30pm Wednesdays: 7:00-1:00pm, and again from 6:30-7:30pm Saturdays: 7:00am-7:00pm Sundays: 9:00am-7:00pm Free for housesitting, walks, and hikes on the weekends all day :) I am clean and respectful of other people’s space, and want to help your dog feel comfortable in their home. About: I can't remember a time without a furry (or occasionally aloof, whiskered) friend by my side. I literally came home from the hospital to a wagging tail — my family's dog was my first welcome committee, and honestly, it's been downhill ever since. In the best way. I've shared my home with cats who ran the place like tiny CEOs, and two dogs who kept me on my toes and taught me more about patience than any human ever has. If you've got a dog who needs zoomies and belly rubs, or a cat who'll deign to acknowledge my existence on her own schedule, I speak both languages fluently. I'm also a proud supporter of the Santa Barbara Humane Society — animals have given me enough joy over the years that giving back isn't optional, it's just what you do. When you leave your pet with me, you're not getting a stranger who "loves animals" in the vague, profile-filler kind of way. You're getting someone who will send you the update photos, learn your dog's weird quirks or your cat's exact opinion of strangers, and treat your critter like my own — because that's the whole job. As someone who's self-employed, I have the flexibility to give your pets the time and attention they deserve. I recently said goodbye to my beloved companion, and while I'm not quite ready to welcome a new furry friend into my own home yet, caring for other people's pets has been incredibly meaningful. It keeps me connected to what I love most while giving me the chance to shower someone else's best friend with all the love and care they need. I live in a cozy casita with a secure, fenced patio area—perfect for outdoor playtime and fresh air. Since I work from home, I'm around throughout the day, which means your pet gets plenty of companionship and supervision. I'm also an active person who loves getting out, so regular walks to the park, beach, or around downtown are part of my routine. Your furry friend will get both the comfort of a home environment and the adventure of exploring Santa Barbara's best spots.

About: I have owned two large dogs before a German Shepard, and a lab Shepard mix . I also understand that some dogs are energetic and need more exercise so I am patient with those doggos too! I am also attentive to their health and body language and I will communicate with you whether I notice anything concerning. I work full time from 8-5pm Mon-Friday. I am available early mornings before 7am or after 5pm on the weekdays and any time on the weekends. I cannot board dogs or cats however I am more than happy to watch them in their home! I will also be attentive to specific care instructions for your pets.

About: I bring almost a decade of pet care across several different professional facilities. Whether a puppy, unruly, shy, or elderly I've dealt with it all! I've managed chaotic play yards but I love forming strong one-on-one bonds with all furry creatures- I was many a pup's favorite in the yards, especially the ones who were less confident. I am currently open and flexible in order to accomdate a variety of client schedules. Whether you need a regular walker or weekend drop ins I'm your girl! The safety and well being of your dog is always my priority! I have my own rescue dog who came with a few behavioral quirks and have worked with him extensivley to be an upstanding citizen as well as manage his behaviors in general.

I care for the dogs I walk as if they were my own — with plenty of love, attention, and respect for their individual needs. About: Taking care of both dogs and cats is something that I have loved doing since I was a young teen. I have also volunteered abroad working at animal shelters in other countries. I feel really passionate about giving them the proper love and care they deserve! I am currently working 8-4pm on weekdays but anytime after that I am free to care for your pets! I will also be free on the weekends! I wouldn’t be able to take care of your pets in my residence, but I would absolutely love to watch over them at yours while you are away!

About: I absolutely love animals and especially dogs. I love walking them, taking them on fun outdoor adventures and also checking in on them while you are out and about. I may not currently have a pet of my own but I promise I will love yours as if they were my own. My schedule is very open and I make my own hours with the part-time work that I do. Plenty of time to visit with and walk your fur-baby! I am happy to walk your dog in your neighborhoods. Also, I can come and visit with them at your home as much as needed.

About: Hello, my name is Sandy and I am looking forward to taking care of your furry friend. Like most other animal lovers, I’ve had dogs of all kinds and pets all my life. I have patience, problem solving skills and the ability to cope with challenges under pressure. Also a deep love and appreciation of mother nature and animals. I am semi retired but still enjoy working and set my own schedule so I am available weekdays and weekends. Your pet will be well looked after. I love to go to the beach and will look forward to taking your furry friend with me. Shoreline Park is another favorite daily walk activity and just minutes away. My condo has a small fenced yard and a comfortable home for your doggie’s vacation. I live on the mesa in the Highlands with lots of easy walking just outside the front door and in the Honda Preserve so your pet will have plenty of short walks. I have been a dog owner all my life but when my last dog Nates, the absolute best dog in the world my children and I rescued from the animal shelter, left the planet for dog heaven, I couldn’t bring myself to get another and my children were all grown so I very much enjoy taking care of other’s pets.

About: I have had at least one dog as a family pet for my entire life. They have ranged from chihuahuas to german shepherds, and I have loved them all with my whole heart. My family got a cat when I was in high school, and I remember him being so much fun. My fiancé and I finally got our own little kitten a few weeks ago! Since I was little, I've been responsible for feeding my family pets, taking them out to go potty, and taking them for walks around the neighborhood. I have also helped my parents train our pets, and my proudest accomplishment was teaching my King Charles Spaniel/Pekinese, Juji, how to roll over! Some of my dogs have been super calm and loving to family and strangers alike, and some of them have had past traumas that make them scared and sometimes aggressive toward other dogs and people they don't know, so I am equipped to handle all sorts of pups with a range of personalities. Also, I may only be 5'3, but I am surprisingly strong, so leash-pullers aren't necessarily an issue(: As a cat owner, I recognize and respect that they’re NOT the same as dogs and will give them the time and space to warm up to me if they need that. I can't wait to meet your lovely pets! I’m currently working full-time, so I’m only available after 4:30pm on weekdays. I work from home one day per week (the day varies week to week), so I can be flexible on those days if you request me at least a week in advance. On weekends I’m usually pretty free and ready to go on walks or do drop-ins whenever! I will always be respectful of the pets in my clients’ homes, recognizing that it’s their space, not mine. If the client isn’t home when I first see the animal, I’ll let them come to me and won’t grab them or anything like that. I’ll stick to any schedules the client has laid out for me and will keep the place orderly and clean if it’s a longer stay.

About: I've always had a deep love for dogs, having grown up with them. Unfortunately, my current living situation doesn’t allow for a pet. However, I’ve had the privilege of caring for friends and family’s dogs, ranging from weekly to monthly stays. I’ve even spent nights at their homes to ensure their pets are well-cared for. I am newly retired and love taking walks at the beach, park, and around the neighborhood. I would enjoy animal companionship to keep me company. I’ve cared for dogs in various living situations, including those who sleep in crates or inside the home. I’m comfortable working remotely on a laptop, allowing me to spend time outdoors or in a separate room, minimizing disruption to the dog’s routine.
