I am a certified dog trainer, the founder of Beach Dog Rescue and a lifelong animal advocate with over a decade of hands-on experience in dog rescue, fostering and behavior. I am currently home full time so your dog will be with me the entire time. I have a dog friendly husky and a dog friendly Maltese/poodle mix. I have experience training and fostering dogs with reactivity, fearful dogs, leash pulling, separation anxiety etc. I make my own schedule and run my dog rescue from my phone so I am able to be with your pet their entire stay. Your pup will be cared for like family in a safe, kennel-free home where I’m with them 24/7. “Owen was our first experience on Rover and we don't think it could have been any better. He took our reservation with very short notice and was very accommodating the entire way. We were able to enjoy an amazing wedding in Montecito as our Van was in the best hands. Owen sent us several photos and was very flexible when we came back a little late. About: I have taken care of dogs since I have been the age of 5 and I have taken care of my friends dogs in my neighborhood making sure they are walked and feed. I am currently enrolled in Santa Barbara city college and I am free on fridays through sundays all day and am free anytime after 2 pm on mondays and Wednesday. I love taking my dog, my friends dogs out for walks and making sure they get exercise. I love going to the beach and going on walks. I make sure my dog has toys and water and all times and take her out to go potty whenever she wants to.

“Kayla bravely agreed to take our 8 month old Australian Shepherd for 2 nights and days while we attended family wedding events. She handled her beautifully and our puppy loved her time. Puppy came back calm and happy. Kayla is very "dog knowledgable". She communicates clearly - asks questions about what would be OK for puppy. It made such a difference to us to know the great treatment she gave to our "teenage dog". We will ask for Kayla whenever we come. Our dog is crate trained, which helped I am sure.”

About: I have two sweet dogs, Scarlett and Sky. They are both great with other dogs and love to play. Scarlett is a chihuahua/Pomeranian mix, and Sky is an Aussie/lab mix. We love going on hikes and the beach! I’m a finance professional and am currently taking a break, so have some free time. I love long walks and am really great with dogs! We have a clean and comfy home. We also have a small backyard/patio area with a doggie door, so the dogs can access it whenever they want.
