About: I’ve grown up with animals my entire life and have always treated them as part of the family. I was raised with three dogs and one cat, and I took an active role in their daily care — feeding, walking, bathing, playing, and making sure they felt safe and loved. I truly considered them my own. Over the past several years, I’ve also cared for friends’ dogs while they were away, including overnight stays and daily drop-ins. I understand how important consistency, routine, and trust are when someone else is caring for your pet. I now have my own cat, which has deepened my understanding of responsibility, patience, and attention to detail — from monitoring health and behavior to maintaining clean litter areas and enrichment activities. I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely love spending time with animals. My goal is always to make pets feel comfortable and cared for while giving owners peace of mind. Caring for animals is already part of my daily routine since I have my own cat. I’m very organized with my schedule and plan my week in advance, which allows me to consistently fit in walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so pet care doesn’t feel like an obligation. it’s something I naturally make time for and prioritize. For drop-ins, I focus on maintaining your pet’s normal routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. This includes feeding according to instructions, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes or picking up waste, playtime, and giving attention based on their personality. I always make sure doors, gates, and crates are secure before leaving and provide photo updates after each visit. For walks, I prioritize safety and engagement. I use secure leash handling, pay attention to surroundings, and adjust the pace to your dog’s energy level. Whether your dog needs a high-energy walk or a slower, relaxed pace, I make sure they get both physical activity and positive interaction. For boarding, I create a calm and structured environment. I follow feeding schedules carefully, maintain potty routines, and provide enrichment and attention throughout the day. I also monitor behavior closely to ensure your pet feels safe and settled while away from home. Above all, I focus on consistency, safety, cleanliness, and clear communication so both pets and owners feel at ease.
“My active and playful cattle dog had a wonderful time with Lynn and Marty. They made her feel at home immediately - opening up a treasure trove of doggie toys and giving her a warm and cosy spot to chill out when she needed it. On a very rainy weekend they made sure she still got to run around in their big and safe yard with ball throwing and fetch. At night they followed her usual routine at bedtime with great success -a good nights sleep had by all. I am very happy I have found Lynn and Marty as a home away from home for Darling.”

About: We have both grown up with active dogs and pet sat for various breeds of all ages/sizes (boxers, golden retrievers, pitbulls, etc.). We frequently day foster for SB County Animal Services and love pampering dogs while in our care. With Jacob working from home and Carly’s office just downtown, your dog would be kept company and loved all day long. We both work full time, with one of us working from home and the other in the office, which gives us flexibility to provide attentive care throughout the day. Your dog will get regular morning, midday, and evening walks, along with plenty of companionship. If your dog enjoys adventures and outings, we’re happy to include them in our weeknight and weekend plans whenever possible. We live in a spacious two-story apartment with a secure outdoor deck. While we don’t have direct yard access, we’re able to take dogs out as needed for potty breaks and walks. Our home is centrally located downtown, just two blocks from Alice Keck / Alameda Park and a short distance from the Mission, offering plenty of great walking routes and green space to explore.

About: I’m a mom of two and an experienced dog owner of over 20 years. Dogs have been part of my life for my entire adult life, and I’m very comfortable caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. In the past, I’ve owned multiple dogs at a time and was comfortable caring for them all together. I have a gentle, friendly Labrador Retriever who enjoys having canine company, and my two kids are kind, respectful, and love animals. I will be the primary caretaker for your pet, and I focus on making each dog feel safe, comfortable, and at home while their owners are away. I’m mostly a stay-at-home mom, which allows me to provide lots of supervision, attention, and companionship throughout the day. I do leave the house for a few hours on three mornings each week, but otherwise I’m home and available to care for your dog’s needs, including playtime, potty breaks, feeding, and cuddles. I live in a single-family home with a large, fully fenced grassy backyard that’s perfect for safe play and exercise. Dogs are treated like part of the family and are always supervised. I’m happy to crate your dog if that’s part of their routine, or they’re welcome to sleep on a dog bed in the living room—whatever helps them feel most comfortable. My goal is to provide a calm, loving, and secure environment for every dog in my care.

Tory also took Nala on daily walks in different environments like the beach! I highly recommend Tory and look forward to Nala’s next stay with her.”

“Damian was a wonderful friend to George ! I would definitely recommend him if you need someone to take care of your pet. We haven’t left George with many new people and our dog seemed very happy and relaxed in Damian’s care. George had a few special needs and Damian had no problem making sure they were met. He also made it a point to take him out everyday to one of his favorite nature walks (the Douglas Preserve) where he could interact with other dogs, which George loves. Damian has a dog of his own so you can tell he has a love and intuitive understanding for our furry friends. He went above and beyond in care for our dog George! Thanks Damian.”

Kapri was fantastic! She truly is a dog whisperer. She took incredible care of my sweet Miles and I’ll be using her when I’m back in town. She kept me in the loop with messages and photos, keeping me at ease while I was away. I came back to a very happy dog! 10/10 recommend!

⸻ We love having Santa watch our Bella. She is incredibly caring and sweet. We’ve used her several times, and it gives us such peace of mind knowing our four-legged family member is in trustworthy hands. I highly recommend Santa — Bella always has a wonderful time and truly enjoys her stays. We also appreciate all the adorable photo updates throughout her visit.

Jacob, Simone, and their lovely pup, Mango, were absolutely wonderful companions to my dog over a long weekend away. Jacob and Simone were communicative, sent lots of photos, and went above and beyond caring for my little one while he was recovering from a dental procedure. Would absolutely recommend Jacob and Simone for any anxious dog parent looking to leave their pup in exceptional hands (and with lots of snuggles).

Kayla bravely agreed to take our 8 month old Australian Shepherd for 2 nights and days while we attended family wedding events. She handled her beautifully and our puppy loved her time. Puppy came back calm and happy. Kayla is very "dog knowledgable". She communicates clearly - asks questions about what would be OK for puppy. It made such a difference to us to know the great treatment she gave to our "teenage dog". We will ask for Kayla whenever we come. Our dog is crate trained, which helped I am sure.
