Our family loves animals!
Both me and my wife grew up with dogs, rabbits, pigeons, chickens, cats, you name it. Plenty of experience and knowledge of the needs and psychology of various animals.

An incredibly kind and caring sitter! Our dog was surrounded by love and care and handled the separation from us very easily.
Had a last minute cancellation and Jorrit and his family were happy to watch our dog while we were travelling. They are extremely friendly and communicated well and sent us pictures. They're accommodating to our dog and have a nice backyard area for the pups.
Always excellent care and regular updates with photos of our happy pup!
Thank you for being so accommodating to Alfie Bootsy and Ziggy! My husband and I had a wedding celebration and Jorrit was very accommodating in extending the time in case we didn’t finish on time. They were punctual, very open and communicative. We got photos as well
This was my dog’s second time staying with this aarm and lovely family. Lou-Anne is wonderful and seems very responsible. I feel so comfortable leaving my dog with them! They also took a last minute booking which was so helpful and appreciated. Great communication and regular updates. Highly recommend!

Schedule
We work part time and mostly from home, so we are available most of the time for your pet. The dog sitting business is an idea of my 2 daughters and they basically run it and do all the work and all proceeds go to them, so your dogs benefit their horseback riding fund!

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced 1 acre yard which is very natural and not so much landscaped, so dogs can run around with no worries. We live close to Skofield park and the water filtration park where we can walk dogs. Our daughters are 13 and 15 year old and are responsible with animals and love to give them attention. Dogs must be friendly and good with kids.
Pets
A typical day
We will walk your dog at Henrys beach, the water reservoir, Skofield park, and other parks in Santa Barbara that are fun for your dog! We also take a daily picture of your dog and send it to you, so you stay updated about your dog.

- We are okay with any friendly dog, and we have no preference for size or dog breeds as long as they are well behaved. We will not house more than 3 dogs at any time, but usually we only have one. We only accept friendly dogs that are social and good with other dogs and kids. We don't accept dogs that bark excessively when they are alone as we have to respect our neighbors (we work mostly from home but do have to leave dogs by themselves for an hour or 2 sometimes). Dogs must be potty-trained.
