About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I come from a long line of dog people, with generations of family members who have always had dogs in the home. If you ask me my favorite subject, the answer is always “dogs.” I’m the type of person who says hello to every dog I pass, attends dog trivia nights for fun, and spends my free time volunteering at Santa Barbara Humane. If there’s a dog nearby, chances are I’ve already stopped to say hi! My background as an animal lover goes beyond passion. I spent years working in veterinary medicine, gaining hands-on experience caring for animals that need a little extra attention and support. This includes puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with medical needs. I already love spending time walking around beautiful Santa Barbara, so I’m thrilled to combine my daily walks with quality time spent with the doggos of Santa Barbara! I have a flexible, hybrid schedule and can typically adjust on short notice. If I do go into my office, it’s typically for 4-6 hours. I love taking walks throughout the day, so it’ll be easy to add walking your dog to my daily schedule! I have a one bedroom apartment with a sunny balcony. I am able to close off various spaces around the apartment if needed. I’m also comfortable with pets on furniture and giving baths if needed.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs, young and old, and think the absolute world of these beautiful animals. I recently parted ways with my soul dog when he passed in March and have missed him every moment since. Despite this loss, I have not lost my love for dogs. Caring for your baby would be an absolute privilege and joy for me, and I promise to love and look out for them as my own. I work in home health healthcare but am typically available every morning before 10am and every afternoon after 4pm. My days can be flexible where I can check in periodically as well— I am happy to coordinate as needed. I’m also off every Wednesday and am available over overnight stays. I welcome dogs into the home as well and am always willing to take them out to the beach, on trails, and any adventures in general!

About: I have owned two large dogs before a German Shepard, and a lab Shepard mix . I also understand that some dogs are energetic and need more exercise so I am patient with those doggos too! I am also attentive to their health and body language and I will communicate with you whether I notice anything concerning. I work full time from 8-5pm Mon-Friday. About: I have worked at a cat boarding facility for the better part of five years. I have many pets and experience with the following; medicine administration, injecting insulin, monitoring the cats’ health and appetite, cleaning, and making sure each and every cat got the adequate attention they needed. In addition to this I have also pet sat for dogs and cats for years. Most of customers were regulars and I got to get to know each animal very well. About: I've had dogs and cats all my life and I'm very sensitive and attuned to their needs. I love walking dogs, throwing balls/frisbees as well as cuddling on the couch. I can play with cats for hours and love scratching them behind the ears until they purr. I offer short or long walks or if you have a more active pet, hikes on the SB trails or visits to the Douglas Family Preserve. For housesitting, I can guarantee your pet will be given lots of love and attention and that their routines will be honored. I teach part-time at SB City College but have a flexible schedule. I look forward to meeting your fur-baby! I am currently teaching part-time on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have availability on MWF and most weekends. I can walk dogs in the mornings or afternoons on any of these days. I can housesit every night but cannot stay during the day on T/TH. I care for pets at client's homes. Movement outdoors & time away from the screen or project, gives me time to process, think, & refine my creativity, even when my attention is on the trail, my animal companion, or the ball that must be thrown. Movement is essential for me, so bringing a dog along, or stopping to take one for a walk, brings value to my day in more ways than it would appear. I have a few appointments during the week. None are longer than 2 hours. I attentive to the animals needs & can provide a safe environment for them to thrive. Whether it’s grooming, play, or loving attention that’s needed, I am there for them. I understand the importance of structure, safety gates, & schedules, especially whenever medication is involved.

About: I have 2 years of hands-on dog care, regularly watching a large Golden Retriever and a medium Chihuahua–Dachshund mix. I’m comfortable with strong pullers and high-energy pups, and I’m just as gentle with small dogs. I follow your routines for meals, walks, potty breaks, and playtime, and I send clear updates with photos after each visit. About: I’ve been involved with all types of animals my entire life, mainly horses and dogs.Experience with some basic vet care as well. Can administer meds and vet follow up treatments. I do take my 12 1/2 year old daughter to school at 8:00. About: I treat dogs with the Golden Rule. Dogs have short lives and it’s up to us to make them full of love, friends, long walks, and sunshine! I’ll treat your pup like I treat my own, and with any special care precautions. I have loved caring / training my own dogs and grew up taking care of my family dogs as well. I am quick to understanding their little special ways of communicating. Work from home most days and have a balcony, a lovely little courtyard, and a dog park in my complex for fresh air. I can, and enjoy taking morning, afternoon and evening walks at one of the several nice walking paths nearby. I have neighbor dog friends that I watch occasionally and would love to come play if your dog prefers dog company. My complex is highly secure, and I live in a lovely safe and walkable area. About: I’ve grown up around dogs, young and old, and think the absolute world of these beautiful animals. I recently parted ways with my soul dog when he passed in March and have missed him every moment since. Despite this loss, I have not lost my love for dogs. Caring for your baby would be an absolute privilege and joy for me, and I promise to love and look out for them as my own. I work in home health healthcare but am typically available every morning before 10am and every afternoon after 4pm. My days can be flexible where I can check in periodically as well— I am happy to coordinate as needed. I’m also off every Wednesday and am available over overnight stays. I welcome dogs into the home as well and am always willing to take them out to the beach, on trails, and any adventures in general!

“Courtney was fabulous with my less than 1lb kitten! This is my first kitten this young, and I was terrified to leave her with anyone. She was abandoned before her eyes were open so I’ve been her mom, bottle feeding her every 2hrs and doing everything a kitten that small needs to survive When a long planned family event came up I had to find someone I would trust to care for my little girl. I honestly didn’t think it would be possible, but the second I met Courtney, I knew she would take as good of care of my baby as I would, and I was right! This was HUGELY terrifying for me, the thought of leaving my very tiny, very vulnerable kitten with a stranger, but after speaking with Courtney on the phone I felt like I’d found someone I could trust with my kitty. I highly recommend Courtney to care for your kitten and or cat. Her home is very kitty friendly and she was amazing with my kitten. I will absolutely be contacting her next time I need my kitten to be cared for.”
