About: I grew up around animals with my mom being a veterinarian, and I’ve spent years helping out at her clinic. That experience gave me a strong understanding of pet behavior, health, and how to keep animals comfortable and safe. I’ve also been pet sitting since I was younger, caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I treat every pet like my own and always make sure they feel happy, loved, and well taken care of while you’re away. My schedule is very flexible since I work as a personal trainer with varying hours each week. I’m typically only working a few hours at a time, with most of my clients in the mornings or evenings, so I’m home a lot during the day and able to give your pet plenty of attention. I currently live in an apartment, so I focus on in-home stays and drop-in visits. I try to keep pets in their normal routine as much as possible so they feel comfortable and safe in their own environment. I always make sure they have plenty of attention, walks, and time outside of just being checked on. I also try to spend as much time with them as I can so they’re not left alone for long. If your dog is comfortable with it, I’m happy to bring them along with me sometimes so they’re getting more interaction and not just sitting at home. I always go based on each pet’s personality and what you’re comfortable with as the owner.

About: I bring almost a decade of pet care across several different professional facilities. Whether a puppy, unruly, shy, or elderly I've dealt with it all! I've managed chaotic play yards but I love forming strong one-on-one bonds with all furry creatures- I was many a pup's favorite in the yards, especially the ones who were less confident. I am currently open and flexible in order to accomdate a variety of client schedules. Whether you need a regular walker or weekend drop ins I'm your girl! The safety and well being of your dog is always my priority! I have my own rescue dog who came with a few behavioral quirks and have worked with him extensivley to be an upstanding citizen as well as manage his behaviors in general.

About: Hello, my name is Sandy and I am looking forward to taking care of your furry friend. Like most other animal lovers, I’ve had dogs of all kinds and pets all my life. I have patience, problem solving skills and the ability to cope with challenges under pressure. Also a deep love and appreciation of mother nature and animals. I am semi retired but still enjoy working and set my own schedule so I am available weekdays and weekends. Your pet will be well looked after. I love to go to the beach and will look forward to taking your furry friend with me. Shoreline Park is another favorite daily walk activity and just minutes away. My condo has a small fenced yard and a comfortable home for your doggie’s vacation. I live on the mesa in the Highlands with lots of easy walking just outside the front door and in the Honda Preserve so your pet will have plenty of short walks. I have been a dog owner all my life but when my last dog Nates, the absolute best dog in the world my children and I rescued from the animal shelter, left the planet for dog heaven, I couldn’t bring myself to get another and my children were all grown so I very much enjoy taking care of other’s pets.

He did drop in visits helping her with potty breaks and keeping her company. She got comfortable with him pretty quick and he did a wonderful job. About: I’ve taken care of animals, of all kinds, my whole life. Growing up on a homestead has given me the passion as well as practical skill set to take care of animals. I am comfortable handling newborn fosters, specific dietary needs, senior dog care/med management. I can control large dogs that have behavioral issues. About: I've always had a deep love for dogs, having grown up with them. Unfortunately, my current living situation doesn’t allow for a pet. However, I’ve had the privilege of caring for friends and family’s dogs, ranging from weekly to monthly stays. I’ve even spent nights at their homes to ensure their pets are well-cared for. I am newly retired and love taking walks at the beach, park, and around the neighborhood. I would enjoy animal companionship to keep me company. I’ve cared for dogs in various living situations, including those who sleep in crates or inside the home. About: I have 2 years of hands-on dog care, regularly watching a large Golden Retriever and a medium Chihuahua–Dachshund mix. I’m comfortable with strong pullers and high-energy pups, and I’m just as gentle with small dogs. I follow your routines for meals, walks, potty breaks, and playtime, and I send clear updates with photos after each visit. Safety and calm handling are my priorities—I keep leashes secure, monitor weather and hydration, and tidy up after outdoor fun. I can help with brushing and basic cues like sit/stay/leave-it. Your dog will get patient, reliable care and lots of affection every time. I work fully remote, so I’m home and attentive most of the day. I pop out once daily for the gym (about an hour) and plan visits around it. I’m available for morning, lunchtime, and evening walks/check-ins, plus overnight house sitting when needed. Weekends are open. Your pup’s meals, potty breaks, and playtime fit naturally into my routine, and I send quick updates so you always know how they’re doing. I follow your dog’s routine exactly—feeding, meds, crate, and house rules. I double-check doors and gates, keep dogs leashed unless you’ve approved a secure fenced area, and handle both strong pullers (Golden Retriever) and small dogs (Chiweenie) with calm, confident control. I monitor heat/cold, carry water, wipe paws, clean bowls, and tidy up before I leave. Home stays locked and secure, and you’ll get clear photo updates every visit.

About: Though I use to work in person as a nurse in an oncology unit, I now work from home full time as a research nurse organizing breast cancer clinical trials. Though I don’t currently have any pets of my own, I am an animal lover and hoping to walk and care for your dogs and cats! I have decades of pet sitting throughout my life! I am comfortable with many different pet personalities and any needs of your pet including medication administration. Please feel free to ask questions! I currently work from home full time with a somewhat flexible schedule as a remote research nurse. I am available between meetings, some evenings and some weekends! About: Aside from growing up with dogs, cats, a rabbit, hamsters and pet rats, my dog experience spans since a child to present time. I’ve cared for many different breeds,, sizes, temperaments, ages and personalities. I volunteer at a local shelter, so I’ve been fortunate enough to work with dogs from different backgrounds and circumstances. Your pets well-being, safety and enjoyment are my passion and priority. I’m fortunate to work from home so it makes the dog caring experience flexible and attentive. It can be all day or a few hours as needed. I don’t have any pets, so the focus and care will be centered around your dog. I have a fenced yard and patio area for naps in the sun and bathroom breaks. If the sitting is done at the dogs own home, I can take my work with me and follow a routine that they are used to.

About: I’ve owned and cared for pets over the course of my entire life. Dogs are my love and bring such joy into my world. I have always had a natural born connection that cannot really be explained. It’s a magnetism and I’m drawn to them as much as they are to me :). I have a deep understanding and knowledge of a variety of health issues that dogs commonly have including bone, joint, heart, GI issues and dietary restrictions. I’ve experienced quite a bit over the course of my life personally caring for dogs with these issues including blindness & deafness, injuries. I’m mature enough and a mom myself to confidently say that your family would be treated as my own would. I have also cared for and owned a variety of birds, fish, reptiles, bunnies, guinea pigs, chinchilla and then some! ;). Your animals would be loved as my own! Happy to do overnight care on somewhat short notice as well. Live in the Mission canyon area and have a gated yard with space for sun bathing and potty breaks/lizard chasing ;). Reliable car, DL, Insurance etc. - open to running errands, helping around the house (can discuss rate). My schedule is flexible and I’m available for boarding as well overnight with a little notice ahead of time. No problem with house sitting I have a gated yard and no pets. Nice neighborhood with friendly neighbors with dogs that enjoy each other. Local trails close by and the Riviera Theater close and other nice doggy friendly locations!

We both grew up with childhood dogs who were truly part of the family, and some of our favorite memories come from caring for them and creating those special bonds. Over the years, we’ve had plenty of hands-on experience caring for friends’ and family members’ dogs and cats, giving us the chance to look after pups of all sizes, ages, and personalities. From energetic puppies who love long walks and playtime to senior pets who just want extra love and comfort, we know how to make each animal feel safe and cared for. In addition to dogs and cats, we’ve also been pet parents to fish, birds, a bunny, and a guinea pig—so we’re no strangers to meeting the unique needs of different animals. No matter what, our approach is always the same: lots of patience, love, and attention to detail. We understand that leaving your pets in someone else’s care is a big decision, and we’ll treat your pets like our own. You can count on us to provide reliable care, keep routines consistent, and send you plenty of updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away. Alexa and I currently both work as full-time school-based occupational therapists; therefore, we have a typical school schedule for work. We are available early mornings, mid-late afternoons, evenings, and weekends. We are happy to care for your pet(s) in the comfort of their own home and take them outside!
