Katherine can care for
Availability
I work fully remote, so I’m home and attentive most of the day. I pop out once daily for the gym (about an hour) and plan visits around it. I’m available for morning, lunchtime, and evening walks/check-ins, plus overnight house sitting when needed. Weekends are open. Your pup’s meals, potty breaks, and playtime fit naturally into my routine, and I send quick updates so you always know how they’re doing.

Safety, trust & environment
I follow your dog’s routine exactly—feeding, meds, crate, and house rules. I double-check doors and gates, keep dogs leashed unless you’ve approved a secure fenced area, and handle both strong pullers (Golden Retriever) and small dogs (Chiweenie) with calm, confident control. I monitor heat/cold, carry water, wipe paws, clean bowls, and tidy up before I leave. Home stays locked and secure, and you’ll get clear photo updates every visit.
Information Katherine M. would like to know about your pet
Please share feeding schedule/amounts, allergies, and any meds (with instructions). Let me know walking gear and cues, reactivity or triggers (dogs, bikes, doorbells), and house rules (furniture, treats, off-limits rooms). Tell me about crate/bedtime routines, separation anxiety, chewing habits, and whether they’re OK being left for about an hour while I’m at the gym. Vet/emergency contacts and gate or alarm notes are helpful. I’m comfortable with strong pullers and small dogs and will tailor care to your dog’s age and energy.
A typical day
I work from home, so your dog gets company and attention throughout the day. We start with a potty break and breakfast (or your schedule), then mix in play and enrichment—sniffy walks, fetch/tug, treat puzzles, and quick training refreshers (sit, stay, leave-it). I do a midday walk for exercise and an evening wind-down stroll. Big pups like Goldens get structured leash time and fetch; small dogs get gentle play and cuddle breaks. Water is refreshed, paws wiped, and you’ll get photo updates after each outing.

Pet care experience
I have 2 years of hands-on dog care, regularly watching a large Golden Retriever and a medium Chihuahua–Dachshund mix. I’m comfortable with strong pullers and high-energy pups, and I’m just as gentle with small dogs. I follow your routines for meals, walks, potty breaks, and playtime, and I send clear updates with photos after each visit. Safety and calm handling are my priorities—I keep leashes secure, monitor weather and hydration, and tidy up after outdoor fun. I can help with brushing and basic cues like sit/stay/leave-it. Your dog will get patient, reliable care and lots of affection every time.
Reviews
Katherine is so helpful when it comes to pet care! It’s always a little nerve racking to have someone you might not know caring for your furry friends— but Katherine is a really reliable source. I have a couple of dogs and she was so understanding with them. I left my usual routine with them for her and she excelled!
My dogs love Kat as much as I do! I am SO grateful I found a petsitter that takes great care of my furbabies as if they were her own. She is very responsible, trustworthy, competent, fun and so sweet with my dogs. Kat is amazing-I have no worries while away, because I know they’re safe and in good hands! She’s very professional-loves taking care of her furry clients and it shows:)
