“Kathleen was super easy to communicate with and responsive. She jumped in to help us on very short notice when other cat care plans fell through. We felt comfortable knowing she had everything taken care of, and her daily check-ins were welcome reassurance that all was well while we were away.”

“Cassandra came highly recommended to me by a fellow friend (and Rover user) and I cannot express my gratitude enough for how well she has looked after our pets when we are out of town. She also goes the extra mile and doesn't hesitate to help bring into the house mail/packages or water a houseplant or two. I recommend her services!”

She has bathed my dogs in the past and always does a great job with any skin condition or allergy they have. I will always recommend Mindy to anyone who is looking for a dog sitter. She truly loves all animals and is a great choice for your next dog needs.”

10. Christina B.
About: In recent years, I have built a strong trustworthy reputation via more than 70 (yep, seventy) 5-star reviews on a leading house/pet care platform. Photos of some were in here, but the system removed them. Happy to share that information with you when we are in contact. Most sits span several weeks, with a 4-week minimum being easiest on the schedule. I do tend to book in advance. Because I have cared for senior pets (several being older than 15: both dogs and cats, some sight or hearing or limb-disabled), administered meds which also includes insulin shots, and managed various sizes and breeds, pet parents and high end homeowners appreciate this reliability and standard. In some cases, we have only Zoomed before a sit, and never met in-person. Due to great reciprocal communication, the results were wonderful. I offer experience both house & pet-sitting, and am a former (& future) homeowner. I’ve had all kinds of pets throughout my entire life. In adulthood, a Lhasa Apso was my co-pilot for 13 years, and I will have others. For now, I enjoy supporting and caring for yours. Let’s Zoom and take it from there. Looking forward. We will discuss this. Historically (for more than 20 years), I have been able to work from anywhere. We can talk through the options together. Unless you hire me for an overnight sit, I will be coming to them for drop-in or other care. I will not be bringing your pet(s) to my location.

11. Liz D.
“I needed help last minute with my pups and Liz stepped right in to help. She was responsive, kind and loved my dogs. I’ll definitely reach out to her again!”

12. Cheryl W.

“Cheryl was great first time meeting our shy pup. She is a real pro - taking her time to let our dog warm up to her and had him literally eating out of her hand in no time!”

13. Caitlin H.

“Caitlin has been incredible! She really cares for my puppy Jack, is on time and sent me many updates when with him! She stays attentive to his needs and go above and beyond :)”

14. Courtney M.

“Loved being able to meet her before hand! She made our first time using Rover seamless! She sent us plenty of pictures of them which always makes leaving the kitties much easier!!”

15. Haley Y.
“I truly appreciate being able to schedule Haley to feed our cat when we're out-of-town! Haley is very responsive to texts I send her, getting back to me in a timely manner regarding her availability. I've also asked her to bring in our mail, newspaper, and trash cans and she always follows through. I feel she's very organized and I trust her in our home, and taking care of our cat. A few weeks ago, our plans had changed and I had to let Haley know I didn't need her services. I felt bad that I didn't need her. But her response was very professional and it truly reflected the mature and responsible person that she is. I'd HIGHLY recommend Haley to anybody needing someone to care for their cat or dog!”

16. Bethany L.
“Bethany is a responsible, caring, and dedicated young woman. She has been a dog owner and adores her animals. She has cared for my dog many times and I have never worried about being separated from my dog when Bethany is in charge. If you trust your pet with Bethany, you will be worry free. Debra K.”

17. Pia B.
About: Hey there! I'm Pia. I work from home, and becuase I own my own businesses, my schedule is pretty flexible and largely up to me. I have a comfy detached house (couch and bed lounging welcome), with a big yard (NOT fenced in), gated front porch, and nice long lead (if your pup likes some solo sun bathing). I have an 11 y/o shepherd/husky mix that is great with other dogs, not territorial, and very independent - he'll likely ignore/be very indifferent towards your dog if they're both at the house at the same time. I take him on walks at the beach, douglas preserve, and around the neighborhood at least twice per day, and your doggo can join if you're comfortable with that! King is with me every other week. I've owned and cared for dogs my entire life, all rescues, so I'm comfy with all the quirks. Always happy to do one offs, but super love to build a relationship with your guy/girl and love repeat customers :) When I have King, we do both an AM and PM walk (either leashed around the neighborhood, or off leash at Douglas Family Preserve, or one of the beaches in town). If schedule allows, we sneak out mid-day too, and if not, we at least spend some time sitting outside together in the sun. We hike the local trails as often as possible too! Breakfast for us is usually around 7a and dinner around 5p, but can be flexible to your dog's schedule. When I don't have him, it's no biggie to follow a similar schedule as when I do since I'm used to it. My home is minimal (not a lot to get into / destroy / etc), and all my rugs, couch, bed, etc are all dog friendly. Trash is in a drawer, and I can easily put the few food items I have on the counter up higher if your dog likes to counter surf. I'm used to the hair and sand, etc that comes in with dogs, and not bothered by it. My room has a fenced in balcony off a sliding glass door, so if your dog likes an indoor/outdoor lifestyle like mine, it's a great way for them to get some fresh air and stay close.

18. Joseph L.

“Used this service for the first time. Was very pleased with the quick response and follow up detail questions to take care of my dogs. Would highly recommend Joseph.”

19. Reilly S.
About: I have experience with caring for multiple animals at once. Over the past five years I have cared for 7 dogs and 2 cats of various sizes/breeds/ages/energy levels! I have a very large yard, dog door, and I work from home so I will have my eyes on the pups at all times! I am currently working from home so i have plenty of time to care for and spend time with animals! I have a cozy home with plenty of space for the animals to roam around, play, and relax! I am currently taking care of my burnese mountain dog and calico cat who are very low maintenance and relaxed temperament/very friendly! I don’t have a crate, i enjoy having dogs snuggling with me on the couch/bed (if owners are comfortable with this). I love adventures including hikes or beach walks and can accommodate multiple walks/hikes/swims a day!

20. Nicole G.

“Nicole was awesome! She was available when I reached out to her the night before needing a sitter. She took my dog to play with her dog for way longer than I’d requested. She also was great at texting me updates. When I got home my 1 yr old Golden was so crashed. He was clearly happy and tired —- it was a great thing to come home too especially since he can be mischievous. Thanks for wearing him out and giving him lots of attention!”
