About: I spent my entire life with cats and dogs and I honestly can't imagine a home without them. Over the years, i've cared for everything from newborn kittens that needed bottle feeding to senior cats and dogs who required extra patience, medications and specialized care. I have experience giving oral medications and caring for pets with ongoing medical needs. Senior pets have a special place in my heart, and I've rescued several older cats and dogs because I believe they deserve just as much love and comfort in their golden years. I took a break from dog sitting, walking, etc. the past several years as my job required me to be out of town in office on several days. My office work has since changed. I now work only part time (gradually easing into retirement) and work remotely from home. When my beloved Dexter passed away, I rescued my current dog, Dakota. Unfortunately, due to his traumatic start in life, he does not get along with other dogs; therefore, I can no longer watch other pet parents' dogs in my home nor can I stay overnight in their homes. However, I am available to dogsit during the day in your home and also walk your fur babies. I do love to be outdoors. I am an enthusiastic animal lover (the reason for my vegetarian lifestyle). I especially love dogs. I am very active. I regularly hike trails and walk daily. I will text or e-mail you constant updates including photos of your loved one(s) while in my care.
