About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was a kid. I have years of experience working with large dogs with anxiety and high energy, especially German Shepherds. I also love working with small and medium dogs. I am very attuned to the body language of cats and dogs and am attentive to their nervous system to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort. I’m currently working part time and my schedule is very flexible. I can also do most of my work remotely so I can be with your pets even more. I can be available most days and nights. I strive to maintain your pet’s normal routine, whatever that may look like. I know that when you are away, that can be more stressful for your pet so I try to do whatever I can to make your pet more relaxed and happy.

About: I’ve had pets almost my entire life and can’t imagine a home without at least 20 extra legs romping around! I love caring for pets of all kinds—dogs and cats, whether they’re easygoing or have extra needs. I’m calm, attentive, and tuned in to their routines, comfort, and subtle cues. I also have experience with more complex situations, like fostering pregnant dogs (including one on strict bed rest with a broken leg) and supporting her and her puppies through pneumonia. I’ve provided breathing treatments, assisted with chest therapy, bottle-fed sick puppies, and administered medications when needed. Beyond that, I’ve raised puppies with and without their moms, hospice-fostered senior dogs, regularly dog- and cat-sat for friends, and fostered kittens and cats. I treat every pet as if they were my own, so you can trust they’ll be safe, happy, and truly cared for. Pet care is already woven into my daily life. I currently have two cats and three dogs, so feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and engagement are a consistent part of my routine. Because my household already revolves around animal care, welcoming additional pets into my space doesn’t disrupt my routine—it simply means adding more friends to it. I tailor care to each pet’s individual needs and preferences to create a calm, low-stress environment. I have experience managing mixed households and ensuring all animals have their own safe spaces. My home includes a fully fenced, secure backyard that is always closed and locked for safe outdoor time. About: I currently own a French Bulldog he is now 3 years old. Before that I owned an American Pitbull with my ex girlfriend before this dog. My family and I owned a couple of dogs. Just before I owned the Pitbull. Pets are life. Right now I have open availability. Monday through Friday anytime. I can and will work weekends. I am new to this however I have been around pets my whole. I grew on a farm in Texas. I don't care for pets I my own home. I live in a apartment. I'm not allowed to have other pets here unfortunately, they are strict.

About: I’m a first-year college student exploring nursing or veterinary medicine, and animal care has always been a big part of my life. I’ve been volunteering at VCAS for almost a year, where I’ve learned proper handling techniques, safety procedures, and how to care for cats, dogs, and small animals like bunnies. I also have several years of experience helping care for my neighbors’ pets, including feeding, walking, and providing companionship. I’m patient, attentive, and comfortable working with pets of different temperaments, always prioritizing their safety and comfort. Pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine. I naturally build my days around feeding, walks, playtime, downtime, and lots of affection so pets feel comfortable and at ease. I’ve cared for my 10-year-old Maltipoo since she was a puppy, which has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and gentle care. I’m generally available Monday through Saturday and make sure every pet feels loved and cared for during my time with them! I care for pets in my clients’ homes by following their routines and instructions closely to make sure each pet feels safe and comfortable. If medications are needed, I make sure they are given properly and on time. I also ensure pets get appropriate exercise, whether indoors or outdoors, and provide attentive supervision at all times. About: I’ve taken care of dogs for a majority of my life. Dogs are my family and I will treat your dog the same way. I understand they are dependent on us and need us. I’m a very ambitious person. I enjoy keeping busy. I do work as a Systems Engineer however, have plenty of time early mornings and after work. Weekends I’m free. I do pay attention to detail including locking the fence or gate and any doors. I will rely on you to tell me what needs to be locked but, safety for the dog always comes first.

About: I am 39 years old and I love animals of EVERY kind. I grew up with Golden Retrievers, Pit Bull Mixes, and cats in the house so I am no stranger to larger dogs and I’m 5’9” myself. I have been working in sales for the last 10 years and therefore unable to have pets of my own but I have wanted to for the longest time. This gives me a chance to hang with some pets. We both make one another happy and put each other at ease. I currently work for my nonprofit doing pickleball charity work in Central America and have lots of flexibility in my schedule. I’m active and love to see a happy pet even though I can’t have one of my own. I have a flexible schedule. You can catch me frolicking on the pickleball courts (or hanging with the pups attached to them) in my free time. I try to be as hands on as the pets will let me. I have a genuine happiness knowing that they are being kept as comfortable as possible when things are a little abnormal. We generally adapt very quickly to each other and become fast friends but I am patient and will make sure the animals are happy.

About: I am working for an animal clinic as a veterinarian technician, on my way to become a licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. I take the care of animals very seriously, but play time is all fun and games. I also worked for a nonprofit, no kill shelter that primarily houses big dogs such as pit pulls and shepherds. However the shelter also prepared me to be comfortable with breeds ranging between Great Danes to chihuahuas. I care, clean, and teach the animals on a regular day bases. Caring involves giving medications whether it’s an injectable, oral, ointment or drop and of course walking, running, loving, petting, snuggling and entertaining. Cleaning entails baths, bandage removals or replacements, upkeep on finding and picking up soils, as well as washing linens. Teaching is positive reinforcement based. When it comes to basic manners (sit, stay, how to walk on a leash, etc.) and tricks, food and toys are always on hand. I am no stranger to playful, loving, lap snuggling dogs, also entailing I’m familiar with dogs who trust a little less and require more attention to detail before they feel comfortable. Loving an animal is easy. Getting them to love and RESPECT you is sometimes the challenging part.
