About: I have a great deal of patience and compassion for animals. Any animal I meet usually trusts me right away and end up having a bond right when I first arrive to watch them. I promise I will provide them with the best of care! I will always update with tons of pictures and always let you know what is going on. While growing up I've cared for a wide variety of animals for most of my life, from farm animals, to wild animals, to pets. I currently work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule for pet care. Whether you need a dog walker, a drop-in visit for your dog or cat, or care while you're away, I'll do my best to accommodate your needs. I understand that every pet owner has a different schedule, and I'm happy to work with you to provide reliable, dependable care. Your pet's safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I'll carefully follow your pet's routine and any instructions you provide to help them feel comfortable while you're away. I'll make sure they have fresh food and water, a clean environment, plenty of love and attention, and the care they need. For dogs, that includes walks, potty breaks, exercise, and playtime. For cats, I'll provide playtime, litter box cleaning, enrichment, and affection while respecting their individual personality and comfort level. I'll also keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you always know how your pet is doing.

About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life and have my fair share of experience with a wide range of animals. I love all kinds of pets, creatures, critters, you name it! I believe all pets deserved to be treated with love and care. I helped raise our family puppies growing up, so I am familiar with potty training and kennel and leash training. I am familiar with strict regimes and medication application if needed. I also am quite strong (not to toot my own horn) but if needed, I am comfortable lifting geriatric dogs no greater than 80lbs. Hi, my name is Maddi and I’m a lifelong animal lover with a special place in my heart for dogs. I’m 27 and grew up in San Clemente, CA, where my family and I always had our labs by our side whether it was at the beach, on a hike, or camping under the stars. I am free in the mornings and afternoons for walks, and can squeeze in a beach day if your pets likes to go swimming! My work schedule is dynamic, but for most given days I can dedicate two-three hours for walks, cuddles, whatever else you could need. As an active, outdoorsy person, I know the importance of keeping pets happy, healthy, and engaged. I have hands on experience caring for dogs, cats, and rabbits, and I treat every animal like my own, showering them with love, attention, and plenty of playtime. Whether it’s a walk, a cuddle session, or a weekend of pet sitting, I’m dedicated to making sure your pets feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while you’re away. I am familiar and have experience training my family puppies, so if needed I can stick with a strict regimen. I will treat your pet with the utmost caution when it comes to walking in public/neighborhoods. I respect that not all dogs/animals are friendly but deserve to be outside as well, so I tend to walk on the opposite side of the street when passing another pet or person. I am also familiar with socialization and reading dog's social behaviors. At home, I make sure to double check that all exists are secured before I leave and that the house is locked before heading out. While I am indoors with pets, I will give them my undivided attention and love, as well as making sure they are well fed and have plenty of water for when they will be left alone. I will do whatever necessary to make sure that you and your pet feel safe and secure, and most of all happy!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was a kid. I have years of experience working with large dogs with anxiety and high energy, especially German Shepherds. I have been trained in reconditioning and desensitization training for anxious/traumatized dogs. I also love working with small and medium dogs. I am very attuned to the body language of cats and dogs and am attentive to their nervous system to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort. I’m currently working part time and my schedule is very flexible. I can also do most of my work remotely so I can be with your pets even more. I can be available most days and nights. I strive to maintain your pet’s normal routine, whatever that may look like. I know that when you are away, that can be more stressful for your pet so I try to do whatever I can to make your pet more relaxed and happy. If I am house sitting overnight, I will clean any dishes I have used, launder any sheets or towels if I am able and generally leave a tidy space for you to return to.

The thing that stood out to me the most was that he actually took the time to play with my dogs during the visits, many people just feed and leave but he made sure they were loved on and tired by the end of the visit. About: I am 39 years old and I love animals of EVERY kind. I grew up with Golden Retrievers, Pit Bull Mixes, and cats in the house so I am no stranger to larger dogs and I’m 5’9” myself. I have been working in sales for the last 10 years and therefore unable to have pets of my own but I have wanted to for the longest time. This gives me a chance to hang with some pets. We both make one another happy and put each other at ease. I currently work for my nonprofit doing pickleball charity work in Central America and have lots of flexibility in my schedule. I’m active and love to see a happy pet even though I can’t have one of my own. I have a flexible schedule. You can catch me frolicking on the pickleball courts (or hanging with the pups attached to them) in my free time. I try to be as hands on as the pets will let me. I have a genuine happiness knowing that they are being kept as comfortable as possible when things are a little abnormal. We generally adapt very quickly to each other and become fast friends but I am patient and will make sure the animals are happy.

About: I’m a first-year college student exploring nursing or veterinary medicine, and animal care has always been a big part of my life. I’ve been volunteering at VCAS for almost a year, where I’ve learned proper handling techniques, safety procedures, and how to care for cats, dogs, and small animals like bunnies. I also have several years of experience helping care for my neighbors’ pets, including feeding, walking, and providing companionship. I’m patient, attentive, and comfortable working with pets of different temperaments, always prioritizing their safety and comfort. Pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine. I naturally build my days around feeding, walks, playtime, downtime, and lots of affection so pets feel comfortable and at ease. I’ve cared for my 10-year-old Maltipoo since she was a puppy, which has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and gentle care. I’m generally available Monday through Saturday and make sure every pet feels loved and cared for during my time with them! I care for pets in my clients’ homes by following their routines and instructions closely to make sure each pet feels safe and comfortable. If medications are needed, I make sure they are given properly and on time. I also ensure pets get appropriate exercise, whether indoors or outdoors, and provide attentive supervision at all times. My goal is to create a safe, positive experience for both the pet and their owner. I’m always happy to share photos and/or video updates while I’m there so owners can feel at ease!

About: Hello. My name is Veronica. I live close to Pleasant Valley High School in Camarillo. I took a break from dog sitting, walking, etc. the past several years as my job required me to be out of town in office on several days. My office work has since changed. I now work only part time (gradually easing into retirement) and work remotely from home. When my beloved Dexter passed away, I rescued my current dog, Dakota. Unfortunately, due to his traumatic start in life, he does not get along with other dogs; therefore, I can no longer watch other pet parents' dogs in my home nor can I stay overnight in their homes. However, I am available to dogsit during the day in your home and also walk your fur babies. I do love to be outdoors. I am an enthusiastic animal lover (the reason for my vegetarian lifestyle). I especially love dogs. I am very active. I regularly hike trails and walk daily. I will text or e-mail you constant updates including photos of your loved one(s) while in my care. About this sitter: I am a passionate animal lover.......the reason I am a vegetarian. I especially love dogs and could not imagine life without at least one dog in my family. I have had at least two dogs in my family my entire life....and as many as four dogs for many years. My last two senior dogs passed away several years ago, leaving me with only one dog, my Boxer, Dexter, who then passed away almost 3 years ago due to advanced heart failure at age 11. Within a month later, I rescued Dakota, a labrador. I couldn't imagine my home without at least one dog sharing it with me.
