About: I’ve helped rescue two dogs so far within these past few years. Animals have really brightened up my life. I love caring for pets any size and age. My old co workers would call me the doggy whisperer because I liked talking to the dogs that would come in with their owners and the dogs seem to take a liking to me. This is the second time Alexis has stayed at my home, and this time she sat both my resident Aussie, Max, and a foster dog, Marley. This was a big experiment since it was the first time Marley had stayed with a sitter. Alexis was incredible. She dealt with so much with the stressed and anxious foster dog while I was gone (potty accidents, giving medicine, cleaning up a broken glass he pulled off the counter, etc.). Marley is a bit of an escape artist, and she made sure he was safe the whole time and couldn’t sneak out. She also kept in regular communication with me which was essential for this stay.
