Not only did she welcome both of our girls on short notice, she cared for them for four days during a week of extreme heat — something they wouldn’t have tolerated safely. She was wonderfully communicative from start to finish, sending updates and photos throughout their stay. One of our girls, Sherry, had an upset stomach, and Diane was so attentive and comforting, letting us know she was keeping a close eye on her. About: I’ve been taking care of animals for the majority of my life. Family, friends and neighbors have relied on me to walk and pet sit for them since I was in high school. I am a very active person and love to take long walks everyday. A long walk is always better with a dog by your side! Please let me know if I can be of assistance to you and your family. Generally, I am available everyday for walks or drop in. Hours vary, but generally 830am- 830pm but happy to work in other hours as needed. At this time I am only providing drop in service in the client home or walks. I do not currently board dogs or care for them in my home.

“We have a dog that is our whole world and we were in need of help boarding our “fur baby” for a trip we couldn’t reschedule, after we removed her from an established boarding facility when our dog suffered a brutal attack by another dog. We were petrified to leave our dog, with anyone ever again, but knew we would have to. So research began, prayers went up and then we came across Rover. After more research on sitters with Rover we came across Elaine’s and Marty’s bio. So we reached out to Elaine and Marty who seemed like a great fit for our needs. Wow! Elaine and Marty respond instantly. They were willing to have us come to their home for a meet and greet with our sweet Kaylee and we talked with them for over an hour and saw where she would stay so we could make sure the environment was safe and appropriate for her. We were still nervous, as this couple were strangers to us, but decided to take the leap to trust that they would care for our girl like she was their own. Let’s just say our dog is spoiled by us, and lacked nothing with them. We especially love that they are clearly animal lovers and that they board one dog at a time. Because we were a late board, in regard to our trip, they were still willing to take her as long as we were ok with a 24 hour overlap with another client’s little, social dog. Ours is super social too and we all (both dog’s owners and, sitter) agreed to this arrangement. When we returned to Elaine’s and Marty’s home to drop off Kaylee, as soon as they opened their door Kaylee pranced right in like she owned the place, tail wagging, and very comfortable to see her new friends again. She was so well taken care of! Elaine and Marty gave us daily updates with pictures and videos which made us so happy and helped us relax while we were away. Elaine and Marty exceeded all of our expectations! They even gave us a framed photo with two pictures of Kaylee as a thank you for letting her stay with them. We couldn’t be more pleased, have already confirmed another booking and have asked about a third. This couple is so gracious, so kind and loving, so trustworthy and thoughtful we couldn’t recommend them more highly! What an amazing experience with Stephanie and Jennifer! It was our first time leaving our dog with a rover and we couldn't have had a better experience. They were very responsive and communicative all the way from booking, throughout our trip and for pick up. They are true dog lovers and have a great dog friendly space. I felt guilt-free leaving our dog behind with them because it's as if she was on a vacation too. We were traveling far and it was comforting to get so many pics and videos peppered throughout the trip. I will definitely book with them again!
Easiest 5 stars because Mary is so wonderful! She took such great care of our guy Reggie while we were away on our week long family vacation. We've only ever left our pets with family so this was a first for us and Mary felt like family. She was so attentive to keep us updated daily on how Reggie was doing, sent us pictures of him lounging, videos of him playing, and showing how loved and cared for he was while we were away. It was such a relief to know he was in the best of hands with her family and pets. Mary's communication took away any anxiety we had about leaving our pup. We wanted to establish Reggie's home away from home, and if Mary agrees, I think we have found it!
Nancy keeps Murphy anytime we’re in need of someone we can trust and we love her! The entire time on my trip I received updates, photos of my baby playing at the park, & videos of her being spoiled with pup cups (way more than she gets spoiled at home). Murphy got a little sad/confused the first couple days we were gone and Nancy handled it with so much love and compassion. I know she is in great hands with Nancy every time.
Highly recommend! She and her boys took such great care of my dog and made him feel right at home. Communication was excellent and she sent updates that really put my mind at ease. My dog also loved playing with their dog Ody, which made the stay even more fun for him. It’s clear they genuinely care about the dogs they watch. I would absolutely book with them again!
