Their house is super dog friendly too - beds everywhere, dog door with access to a nice yard, and the yard is double gated. Lucy and Lilly felt right at home right away. And can we talk about Lexie? she is the CUTEST thing ever! We will definitely book again.”

I even received a thank you card with pictures. She watched my dog over the Christmas holiday which I am sure inconvenienced her plans but she seemed happy to have her and this made me relaxed so I could enjoy my 5 day vacation. “Curt is phenomenal! I'm brand new to Rover and was in a situation where I needed temporary care for a dog I'd just helped rescue from a high kill shelter. My situation was very unique and my ask was pretty tall - sweet Remy girl had been severely neglected, so she had mange, long nails, an ear infection, and a pretty nasty respiratory infection, which is contagious to other dogs (I have a senior dog at home, so I couldn't foster her as planned). Also we didn't know her history, so could only provide behavior info based on shelter notes & the few days I'd spent with her in a hotel. And of course, the request was urgent and I needed someone right away since I was somewhat stuck and racking up a hefty hotel bill. Curt responded to my inquiry right away and was more than happy to help. He came to the hotel for a meet & greet with her, bringing her toys & treats. She fell in love immediately and wanted to leave with him right then! Since this pup is technically under the care of the rescue organization, they needed him to complete some additional paperwork, which he happily did right away. I dropped Remy off the next morning and Curt spent so much time with us giving me a tour of the property, saying hi to the other doggies through the window, explaining how he'd be caring for her. He made special arrangements for her to be isolated in an exterior room separate from the house, cozy with windows, a couch, blankets, and toys. He knew how worried I was about leaving her alone since I didn't know what kind of behavior to expect, and spent so much time reassuring me! He paid close attention when I went through her various medications and dosing instructions. After I left, I started getting updates right away. It was the BIGGEST relief! I could see how happy she was from the pics and videos he sent me & it really meant everything after the whirlwind adventure I'd had with her! Before booking him, I considered just paying to stay in a hotel with her myself so I could make sure she was well taken care of, but at this point I'm 100% convinced she was better cared for with him than she would've been with me. 😊 Long story short - Curt is amazing, flexible, friendly, communicative, and most importantly LOVES dogs. Super grateful to have found him and for him helping out with this sweet girl's rescue mission. I highly recommend him for anyone looking for a great person to care for or walk their dog(s)!”

I graduated from California State University Channel Islands (CSUCI), where I worked as a Resident Assistant (RA). During my time there, I also helped care for our housing community dog, spending time with them, supervising them, and making sure they were well cared for. That experience reinforced how much I enjoy building trust with animals and providing them with consistent, compassionate care. I also own my own dog she is dog friendly and will frequently take her out to parks and walks which your dog might join us! I will be able to take your dog out in the mornings , afternoon , evening , and at night . I am frequently available to your dog needs. In my home I will take your dog on regular walks to the dog park near me . As well as make sure they are fed at your exact feeding times you prefer and are taken outside for regular potty breaks.

I will keep dogs leashed at all times, avoid situations that may make them uncomfortable, and provide water as needed. I will keep an automatic water feeder on me at all times. I’m happy to accommodate dogs who need slower walks, extra patience, or specific handling instructions. After each walk, I’ll send photo updates along with a quick summary of how your puppy did, including potty breaks, behavior, and anything else you’d want to know. About: I've been a dedicated dog owner for a few years and understand the responsibility, structure, and attention dogs need to thrive and feel comfortable. In addition to caring for my own dog daily, I’ve also provided pet care for friends and family. I believe in treating others the way I would want to be treated, so I prioritize clear communication, consistency, and updates to give pet parents peace of mind while they're away. I work remotely four days a week and off Saturday through Monday, which allows me to provide consistent supervision and interaction. My own dog, Peanut, spends the day with me in my home office, and this allows for a couple of one-on-one play sessions throughout the day. My home office has a sliding door that leads directly to our large, and secure, yard, making potty breaks easy and as frequent as needed. I have a school age daughter, and a terrier mix who roams freely, so we’re very mindful about keeping floors and common areas clear of anything that could pose a choking hazard or safety risk. Same goes with the outside. I provide close supervision in a normal household activity and everyday sounds like TV or music. My dog is crate trained; however, we typically use a playpen if a secure space is needed. I am happy to follow each pet's parent's preferences regarding crating, feeding routines, and supervision to ensure every dog feels safe and comfortable.

About: A dog owner for 20 years. I’ve done rescue, foster, and hospice care for 10 years. Whether you have a shy rescue who needs time, a young pup not potty trained, or senior dog needing love while you’re away; I can handle it all. Dogs in my care get snuggles, treats, long walks, and dog park fun. I’m active duty military but not deploying at this time. Im not working and available all day until the end of September. Any day/any time I can assist you with your dogs. For walking: I’m available anytime. I will have my baby with me either in a carrier or stroller. For boarding: I have two dogs (1 small, 1 medium) that love to play and a baby boy. My apartment has lots of grass for potty time and a dog park within walking distance. I have a balcony with an outdoor bed if your dog loves to sunbathe. If your puppy is too young/old or not vaccinated to safely walk on public streets, I can set up a potty station on the balcony.
