Her attention to detail and level of care are unmatched. She made sure Dale stayed on his feeding and toileting schedule exactly as instructed and took the time to ensure he was well cared for every step of the way. I’m also so grateful to Roxy for helping teach Dale the ropes and for being patient and willing to share her parents and toys with him while still keeping him accountable to the house rules. About: Hi! I'm Gabby, a recent CSU Channel Islands graduate with a B. A. in Psychology. I'll be starting my Master's in Counseling Psychology (MFT emphasis) at California Lutheran University this fall. I'm currently looking for part-time dog walking, dog boarding, and drop-in visits that work well with my graduate school schedule. I've loved animals my whole life and began volunteering with Ventura County Animal Services as soon as I turned 18, where I volunteered for about three years. I also started pet sitting in 2019 and have experience with dog walking, drop-in visits, overnight house and pet sitting, and boarding dogs in my home. I have two female Labradoodles and two cats, so any dogs staying in my home must be friendly with both dogs and cats. I'm comfortable caring for pets overnight and always strive to make them feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away! Pet care is a regular part of my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule while I’m in graduate school, so I’m available for daytime and overnight boarding any day of the week, as well as dog walking and drop-in visits. Since I have pets of my own, caring for animals is already a big part of my everyday life, and I enjoy making sure every pet gets the attention, exercise, and love they need while their owners are away. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. My two Labradoodles are indoor dogs, but they have access to a large, securely fenced yard where I let them out throughout the day to run, play, and get plenty of exercise. I don’t have a doggie door because my two cats are indoor-only, so all outdoor time is supervised. My dogs are very friendly and love meeting new dog friends, and my cats are comfortable around dogs, so I only board pets that are friendly with both dogs and cats. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to maintain their normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and lots of love and attention. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritize their safety, comfort, and well-being. At night, my pets have their own comfortable sleeping routines. My older Labradoodle sleeps with my parents, and my younger Labradoodle sleeps with me. Any dog boarding in my home is welcome to sleep in my room if that helps them feel more comfortable, or I’m happy to follow whatever routine works best for them and their owner, such as sleeping in a crate or their own designated sleeping space.

Sheena was absolutely amazing with our dog, Indra! He stayed with her for five nights, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She noticed that he wasn’t feeling well and went out of her way to feed him a diet that helped him recover. She was extremely communicative and genuinely concerned about his well-being, constantly keeping us updated and sending lots of pictures throughout his stay. Indra can have separation anxiety and be pretty needy, but Sheena was incredibly friendly, patient, and loving with him. It was truly such a great match, and it was clear that he was well cared for and loved during his stay. Indra absolutely loved his time with Sheena, and we would definitely trust her with him again. Highly recommend her!
Easiest 5 stars because Mary is so wonderful! She took such great care of our guy Reggie while we were away on our week long family vacation. We've only ever left our pets with family so this was a first for us and Mary felt like family. She was so attentive to keep us updated daily on how Reggie was doing, sent us pictures of him lounging, videos of him playing, and showing how loved and cared for he was while we were away. It was such a relief to know he was in the best of hands with her family and pets. Mary's communication took away any anxiety we had about leaving our pup. We wanted to establish Reggie's home away from home, and if Mary agrees, I think we have found it!
Nancy keeps Murphy anytime we’re in need of someone we can trust and we love her! The entire time on my trip I received updates, photos of my baby playing at the park, & videos of her being spoiled with pup cups (way more than she gets spoiled at home). Murphy got a little sad/confused the first couple days we were gone and Nancy handled it with so much love and compassion. I know she is in great hands with Nancy every time.
Highly recommend! She and her boys took such great care of my dog and made him feel right at home. Communication was excellent and she sent updates that really put my mind at ease. My dog also loved playing with their dog Ody, which made the stay even more fun for him. It’s clear they genuinely care about the dogs they watch. I would absolutely book with them again!
