I have over a decade of pet-sitting all different types of dogs. I like to think of myself as a dog whisperer because I pay close attention to each dog’s personality, needs, and comfort level. I always try to understand the pets in my care and make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy. I am very passionate about pups, and making them happy truly makes me happy. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and understand the patience, gentleness, and extra attention they may need and require. 🫶🏽

Nancy was wonderful with my labradoodle, Tassie. She added photos from the day and even let me know she was doing okay during the day. It took a lot of stress off me knowing she was in good hands.
How very fortunate we are (Dustin dog and me), and what a huge relief it has been to have connected with Nancy and her sweet Roxy. When our Weimaraner got ill and died suddenly I needed to switch from having our pet sitter staying at our house to the sitter's house so Dustin wouldn't be alone several hours each day. He also needs canine friends but is often reactive (growl, bark, snap if he is scared enough) and needs exposure, time and patience when meeting a new dog. He is not comfortable being handled (he is 14 pounds) by new people. Nancy and Roxy have been wonderful in keeping him in his comfort zone and gaining his trust. After several successful short daycare sessions we will start short boarding stays before our out of town trip. Needless to say I give Nancy the highest recommendation.
Nancy was very nice and sweet to our babies. Soon after we left them, the photos showed them already very comfortable. When we picked them up, they were relaxed and not in a hurry to leave. 😄We will definitely book Nancy again when we are in the area.
Nancy keeps Murphy anytime we’re in need of someone we can trust and we love her! The entire time on my trip I received updates, photos of my baby playing at the park, & videos of her being spoiled with pup cups (way more than she gets spoiled at home). Murphy got a little sad/confused the first couple days we were gone and Nancy handled it with so much love and compassion. I know she is in great hands with Nancy every time.
Nancy is amazing, and Roxy is the sweetest! My boy dog is very anxious and usually takes a long time to warm up to new people, but Nancy has such a calming presence and truly has the magic touch. She made him feel safe, comfortable, and at home so quickly. Within hours, Nancy was updating me on his progress and sending pictures and videos, which brought me so much comfort and peace of mind. Her attention to detail and level of care are unmatched. She made sure Dale stayed on his feeding and toileting schedule exactly as instructed and took the time to ensure he was well cared for every step of the way. I’m also so grateful to Roxy for helping teach Dale the ropes and for being patient and willing to share her parents and toys with him while still keeping him accountable to the house rules. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
I’ve been using Nancy for my pets for years so I was really excited when she joined Rover. She’s very reliable and I trust her wholeheartedly with my pets to know that what I ask will be done right the first time! My dog and cat both adore her and get so excited when she comes over!

Schedule
I am currently a full-time student but I have a very flexible schedule and spend a lot of time at home. I enjoy spending my days hanging out with my own pup and going on long daily walks. Since I am home often, I am able to give pets plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day.

My home is very dog-friendly, calm, and welcoming. I have one dog, and she is incredibly sweet, friendly, and used to being around other pups. She does not mind sharing the couch, the backyard, or her space. I want every dog in my care to feel comfortable, safe, and at home.
Pets
A typical day
I love to take dogs to the park, beach or on a small hike to stimulate them differently rather than just hanging out in the backyard if owner is okay with it if not we have plenty of toys to play with; whether it’s tug-of-war or fetch.
