About: Hi! I'm a dog-lover with a flexible schedule, so I can pop in for visits or take your pup(s) out for a good walk any time of day. My daughter and I have two dogs of our own (Luna and Sunny), so I know firsthand what it takes to keep a dog happy, active, and well cared for. This isn't a job to me, it's just what I love doing. Whether it's a quick potty break, a longer walk, or a check-in with some cuddles and playtime, I'll treat your dog like part of the pack. If you'd like, one of my own pups can occasionally tag along on walks too; happy to chat about what works best for your dog I recently moved back to Moorpark, so I have plenty of open availability for walks and drop-in visits. I'm an early riser for an early AM walk and I enjoy an evening stroll before it gets too late. I am very familiar with dog safety when it comes to making sure collars/harnesses are on and leashes are fully attached before opening any doors. I also take my time when passing other dogs on leashes (just in case).

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is that I’ve lived with animals my entire life and truly love caring for them. I have experience with both cats and dogs, and I understand their routines, personalities, and needs. I own cats, and many of my friends have dogs and cats that I’ve helped take care of, giving me hands-on experience with different temperaments. I’m patient, attentive, and reliable, and I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. Pet care is already a regular part of my daily and weekly routine. I care for my own pets every day, which includes feeding, cleaning, playtime, and making sure they are comfortable and safe. I plan my schedule around pet care, so I’m used to being consistent, on time, and attentive. Because of this, it’s easy for me to fit pet sitting, walking, and check-ins into my routine and give each pet the time and care they need. I care for pets by following their usual routines and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. In my home or a client’s home, I provide fresh food and water, regular walks or playtime, litter box or cleanup care, and lots of attention. I respect the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications if needed, and house rules. I always keep the environment clean and make sure pets are supervised and never left feeling stressed or ignored.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I got my first puppy at six years old, and since then I haven’t been able to imagine a life without animals. I’ve cared for trained and untrained dogs, playful puppies, senior pups who need more assistance and everything in between. I have also been around kitties with all different personalities and needs. While my professional pet care experience has reached almost two years, I’ve spent my entire life surrounded by animals and I have yet to meet a pet I couldn’t love. I strive to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me. I am currently a student who is also completing a CNA course for the duration of the summer. My schedule is open for your pets besides my allotted class time which is on Tuesday's, Thursdays and Saturdays at 4.5-6 hours at a time. Since I will be gone for quite some time during the day, I would love to tire them out however they need it. Any other day of the week I would be happy to spend the whole day with your furry friends! In my home or yours, I will create a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for your loved ones. I am experienced in adapting to each pet’s unique needs, personality, and routine. “Liz is awesome. Super responsive and clearly loves all dogs. She had just come off an extended stay with another client but that didn’t stop her from making Jack her #1 priority. She ensured she arrived at our house on the first day soon after we left, she was clearly home with him a lot and she double-checked what time we expected to be home on the last day before leaving. The house was super tidy when we got home and Jack, while happy to see us, clearly had a great few days with Liz. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough (except during times we want her to stay with ours again 😁).”

About: Helped take care of a geriatric dog who was incontinent and lost the use of her legs in the last year of her life. I have had animals in my home all my life, from dogs, cats, birds, and lizards. I usually work a couple of days a week for half days at Michaels. I am available for check-ins most mornings and in the afternoons. I live in a condo with tons of space for running around. I have two of my own cats, and any boarders would have to be fine with them. My cats have their space. I respect any habits and boundaries you have at your house for your pet. I can brush and clean up after the pet, and play their favorite game.

“At the beginning of my trip last week, the pet sitter I arranged for cancelled at the last minute due to illness. I contacted Julie and she was at my home within 90 minutes for a Meet & Greet. My dogs loved her. Even though my trip started late, Julie was there in the afternoon sending pictures of my dogs to me. I'm very happy with Julie and would recommend her. I have all ready arranged to use Julie again for my next trip.”

My favorite activities to do with dogs are walking, cuddling, belly rubs, and playing. Choose me to spoil your dog for you. In June, I retired as a teacher. Unfortunately my Dog passed away in February of this year. I am available and home all day long every day except for maybe short one or two hour outings. I live in Leisure Village and people here are very dog friendly. I would be so happy to have a dog to care for at this time in my life. I am able to care for your dog at my house. My home is a clean quiet environment. I live in a gated community where almost everyone loves dogs. Some of my neighbors even walk with dog treats in their pockets so they can interact with dogs on their walk.
