About: I have been taking care of a variety of dogs over the last ten years. I have been able to give love to puppies, animals in their last months of life, and even three legged friends. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, hikes, playing fetch, and interactive enrichment games. My schedule as a substitute teacher gives me a lot of flexibility throughout the week. I typically work anywhere from 2-4 days Monday-Friday, usually from around 8 AM–3 PM, so I have plenty of availability before and after school, as well as on days when I’m not teaching. Depending on their personality and energy level, that might include going for a walk, playing fetch, trying interactive games, spending time outside, or simply giving them plenty of attention and affection. I like offering more than one way for pets to get their energy out while also making sure they have everything they need before I leave. For house sitting, I’m happy to follow their usual feeding, walking, play, and bedtime routines while keeping them company and making sure the home stays clean and secure. Since every pet is different, I’m always happy to adjust my care to their individual temperament, preferences, and needs.
