I’ve had dogs since I was nine years old and have extensive experience caring for senior dogs, having had three of my own. “We were really apprehensive since our regular pet sitter is no longer in the business. We had several meet & greets and our highly anxious senior fell in love with Jacqui and that was that. She stayed with him for a week at our house and a week later he is still looking for her (I guess that makes me happy, but I used to be top dog around here ?). She pampered him, played with him, and just generally loved on him. We got photos and he was clearly happy while we were gone. He barely noticed us when we came home. I suppose that's the highest praise of all. Our home was left clean, too. To top it off, Jacqui is just a really nice person. I highly recommend her. She's a true dog lover and very responsible in your home and with your babies.”

After that I take on seasonal evening work Thursday through Sunday, so I’m still available for daytime care and drop-ins year round. I’ll always be upfront about my schedule so you can plan with confidence. My home is warm, relaxed, and animal-friendly with a fenced yard. We did hospice for a number of dogs and cats from 2014 to 2025, so we installed Life Proof floors and have furniture to accommodate the older ones. My two dogs, Daisy and Chloe, are social, dog-park regulars who welcome new friends easily. I have crates available for large dogs if needed.

About: I am not shy to large dogs or animals in general. I do not judge dogs based on size. All dogs deserve love no matter their looks, age, or size. I’ve had bully breeds all my life and have grown accustomed to being around them. Cats I just adore too, whether they’re cuddly, or shy, I’ll be sure to treat them with respect. One thing I can say for myself is that I hope you’re okay with me giving your pets treats! Please let me know what treats your pets enjoy and I will provide them. :) My schedule is flexible and very open at the moment, all I ask is that you request the day before. If it’s last minute request however I’m open to listening to you if you really need a last minute sitter as I know things happen. What I have always been taught is to leave a space cleaner than you found it. This also may include your pet if you would like them bathed I do not mind at all. If I was to stay overnight as well do not think for one second there would be a crumb left from myself. I do not believe in leaving trash or dishes in a sink, or making myself “too at home.” I have a lot of experience in housekeeping, as my friends and families typically ask me to watch their homes for them.

About: I have always had animals since I was a kid and I have always loved them! I love their unconditional connection with us. I have senior dog care and medication administering experience. I have four of my own fur babies that are welcoming to new visitors. Depending on weather we may go for walks at the park and visit the dog park or play in the backyard or even the house with toys. But as long as it's not too hot or raining we hit the park and dog park.
