About: I’ve been animal-obsessed forever. I briefly planned to be a vet… until I discovered how temperatures are taken and quickly pivoted to professional pet spoiler. I’m the friend everyone calls for reliable dog sitting and cat sitting, and I treat every pet like my own (nicknames absolutely included). I have hands-on experience with puppies, senior dogs, shy cats, and multi-pet households. I’m attentive to routines, respectful of your house rules, and big on clear communication with photo and video updates so you always know your pet is safe and happy. After fostering a dozen pups, I had my first foster fail in 2014 when Stevie came home for good. He’s now my geriatric chihuahua, living his best life fueled by naps, Greenies, and prime sunbathing real estate. Your pet will get the same loving, attentive care! Pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine. I have a flexible, work-from-home schedule much of the week, which allows me to give pets in my care plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. I’m thoughtful about structuring my time around feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and check-ins, and I always aim to keep each pet on their normal routine to minimize stress. Because I share my home with a senior chihuahua, I’m especially attuned to comfort, safety, and gentle care. Whether it’s daily walks, medication, or extra cuddle time, I build pet care into my week so every animal gets reliable, loving attention. I keep your pet’s routine as normal and stress-free as possible while you’re away. I carefully follow all feeding, walk, medication, and care instructions — right down to favorite toys and nicknames. I treat every client’s home with great respect and always keep things clean and tidy. You’ll receive regular photo and video updates, and I stay very attentive to your pet’s comfort, safety, and energy level. With my fostering experience and senior pet background, I’m patient, observant, and quick to flag anything that seems off. My goal is simple: you come home to a happy pet and a home exactly as you left it.

Then look no further. :) I speak Spanish and English. I am LLC licensed and insured pet sitter that does both overnight stays and daycare. Me & my boyfriend Ryan own a beautiful home with a nice big Fenced yard in Lake Villa, IL. I have 20+ years experience and specialize with dogs, cats, reptiles, dog training and animal behavior expertise (aggression, shy, nervous, anxious behaviors etc..), worked as an animal care specialist at an animal shelter, vet assistant at a vet clinic, manager & lead dog handler at daycare/boarding facilties, head dog walker and ambassador. I'm experienced with all breeds, all sizes, all temperaments. I am a positive reinforcement force-free reward based trainer that enjoys boarding, playing, and walking dogs. I do not use nor recommend the use of bark collars, choke chains, nor prong collars. I do not use fear, force, pain nor intimidation either. I use love and respect and guide every dog in a gentle manner and encourage and reward the good desire behaviors with lots of praise and affection. If they love something extra special I will use that as rewards. I will provide the best care and love for your dog and they will come back home happy. (P.s- they might not want to come back home from all the fun they had haha.) I do have one dog at home and other clients dogs as well so your dog must be okay with other dogs for boarding and must be okay and well socialized with people as well since your dog will be under my care. I do sometimes have timid dog's As long as they are not a risk liability to any other dogs or people then I'm okay in having them over. I make sure all dogs in my care will be safe with other dog's and other people before I accept them. My dog is super sweet and well behaved and loves dogs, people, cats, kids, everything! she is a spayed female 7 year old rescue cane corso (italian mastiff) I work with your budget if need be and I also have reference of past clients upon request. :) **SCHEDULE: I'm a full time dog sitter for boarding and daycare at my home. I am always home to care and spend time with the fur-babies. Every dog goes out at least 3 times a day. *Morning outside time between 6a.m-7a.m and then breakfast right after. *Afternoon outside time between 12-2p.m *Dinner between by 4-6 pm *Last evening outside time by 8-10 pm Special arrangements can be done depending on age and needs and I can also do every 2-4 hours potty breaks just let me know and I can work on a special schedule for your pup. :) I take into consideration age, breed, and how the weather is and keep them safe from too much cold exposure or severe heat exposure. Potty breaks will be brief for severe weather purposes. GROOMING: Per request before you book your stay: I can give your doggie a bath during their stay with me for an additional fee (not a separate services) they must be already staying with me if he/she is okay in being handled safely and no allergies or issues with shampoos. Also they will only be toweled dried as I do not have a blow dryer or any grooming tools. I have basic brushes and scented shampoos/waterless shampoo sprays I do after their bath and are let air dry so they will be a little damp. But wanted to make sure they don't go home stinky for long stays. I spritz them up with a nice scenting doggie perfume after their visit. :) **SAFETY, TRUST, & ENVIRONMENT: My dog offers company and your pups hanging with me is more of a vacation. A home based boarding/daycare place is less stressful than a facility where it is loud and scary and dogs fall very ill from stress and can display behavioral issues from high anxiety. Such as a home setting is more in what dogs are used to and have a place to lounge, relax, play, and will be calm and quiet enjoying their time away from home. I'm aware that accidents can happen especially new dogs and I'm prepared to arrange a better potty and walk schedule for them as they adjust. I do have other clients dog's here at times but I know pretty much everyone under my care and I am very experienced in matching the right fit dog's. Each dog gets an assessment and temp test at our meet and greet before I confirm. They can't show any aggression towards me, my boyfriend, nor my dog or during their stay. Some dogs may need more space and time to adjust and I have a separate free roaming room and baby gated area if need be to keep everyone safe and separated especially when I'm taking them for walks in pairs but I rarely had to do any of that as they all learn to be good pals and coexist peacefully as you can see on my pictures. :) if for any reason your dog isn't adjusting well and is a risk to any other dogs or people I'll let you know and we can discuss options. Behaviors don't always show up right away until they are settled in and comfortable to show their true personalities. There is no reason to worry about early pick up if the stay isn't working out as I am experienced enough to keep them seperated and safe but most likely they will not be a good fit for future stays due to safety reasons. I have cozy crates as well and my cozy room if any dog needs a break from doggies or if they are too overwhelmed they have a safe spot to relax if they want to. I make sure their experience is pleasant and enjoyable and fun! Some take a little too warm up especially if they are not used to being away from owners. They get extra extra attention, love, and reassurance. It doesn't take long for them to realize "wow! This is fun and relaxing" I do send tons of cute pics/video updates as I always want you to feel at ease and know your dog is in safe hands and having such a good time. I keep all room doors closed including the bathroom and I have the baby gates blocking the main kitchen area. All they have access is the whole living room and my room. I have water bowls out that I change multiple times throughout the day and everyone is fed separated never together for safety. All of my bowls, toys, beds, bedding gets sanitized and washed after each new dog visit. My whole home is doggie/puppy proof as well and I have big dog couch that at some point ends up being a pile of pups all napping with each other lol.

About: I have had around thirteen years of cat care experience, having owned four cats, a tarantula, and a snake throughout my entire life, and currently volunteer at an animal shelter. I have had a lot of opportunities to learn how to take care of cats and their body languages, so I am very experienced with knowing when to back off or if a cat wants love or pets; I also know what to look out for to prevent cat fights from happening or how to break one up. Although most of my experience is in cats, I am always open to learning new things or how to take care of dogs, and I am always willing to walk your dog or house sit for them because I am someone who loves animals and will never shy away from a chance to meet them! I am still a student right now, so I am only free in the afternoons and evenings during the weekdays, but I am totally free on weekends (minus 2-5 PM on Saturdays where I volunteer). I am also looking to get a part time job so my schedule might shift around. I will happily send you pictures or video updates of your puppies or kittens, and I am also extremely willing to play with them using their favorite toys, and I don’t mind spending extra time for snuggling sessions while I’m there! ❤️ My house is usually very quiet save for the occasional cara passing by, and the cats are allowed to wander about and do whatever they want. I will also never try to force an interaction with a cat if the cat does not want it. I brush and groom my cats if the opportunity comes up, and is open to snuggling with a cat anytime 🥰
