I have recently graduated from college with my bachelor's degree in history. I currently work from home for the family business, so I have plenty of time to spend and care for your beloved pets. I also have a really flexible schedule, so I can work with whatever your animal needs. I have been doing drop-ins for pets since I was 12 years old and started house-sitting and staying over for pets at the age of 18. Growing up, my family had both dogs and cats, so I have experience taking care of both. Two of my dogs in my life have had medical issues so I also know how to handle medication for dogs and how important timing is with all of that.

Safety, trust & environment
At home, I have a large fenced backyard with plenty of room for your dogs to run and play. I currently have a senior dog who is 13 years old and is very friendly with other dogs. While house-sitting somewhere else, I double-check everything to make sure your animals are safe and secure, whether that be checking the leash or making sure that gates are locked. Additionally, I always appreciate it when a client leaves me a detailed print out of care instructions so that everything is very clear regarding the care of your pet. Everyone has different ways of doing things and I always try and respect that.

Meghan was incredible! She provided updates with photos and let me know how my dog was doing emotionally! Made me feel so good that she was with her. I highly recommend Meghan and will use her for all future pet sitting!
We were fortunate to find Meghan to stay at the house with our 2 cats during our 5-day trip last week. I have nothing but positive things to say about her. Not only was she able to handle the special needs of our cats, which is no easy feat, but she also kept up the house for us, including feeding the birds, getting the mail and packages, and putting out and taking in the garbage cans. When we got back, we found the house tidied up and cleaned. (I even asked her if she ate here because there was no sign of anyone having used anything in the kitchen, and she said she did use the kitchen. That's how clean it was.) We left extensive instructions on how to take care of both the cats and the house, and she texted if she had any questions. She also gave us a status update every night to let us know that everything ran smoothly that day. Our boy is co-dependent and appreciates companionship during the day, which Meghan was able to provide since she works from home. All in all, Meghan is a true gem. She is a perfect fit for us as a catsitter and housesitter, and we will be using her whenever we go out of town, knowing we won't have to worry about anything when we're gone.
Per usual, Meghan is the absolute best. She keeps us updated with photos and messages. She’s so sweet and keeps the house so clean. Our girl loves her!

Schedule
Since I work from home, I have plenty of time to make sure your pet gets the care and attention they need. Whether they need frequent potty breaks or time playing, I can fit my schedule around anything. I do go out a few times a month for book clubs on Sundays, but I am only out of the house for about 4 hours.
